This was a convenient one night stopping place. Sites are close together and very open. Bathrooms clean, however, no seating or hooks in shower. No place to sit or to hang clothes. Weather was too cool to visit the pool. Level site with very little traffic noise. We camped at Brookside Campsite in a Travel Trailer.

Once you get past the entrance, steep down hill and side hill slant, it isn't too bad. Part of the CG has been re-built since a flood earlier this year. The bridge into the CG is new and once across there the CG is fairly easy to access. There is a combination of drive-thru and back-in sites and parking for tow vehicle or toad is pretty tight. A swimming pool was very busy when we were there. There were forest fires in BC, south of here, but the owner had absolutely no information to offer. There have been fires nearby and several landslides across BC 97 south of here. This is a nice campground just a little dicey with the steep side-hill entrance. We would return if in the area. We camped at Brookside Campsite in a Fifth Wheel.

Great check-in with friendly host....the park is big rig friendly and our site along with all the others are large and level with some shade depending on your location, your neighbors are close by but there is some privacy with the trees and a small fence...services worked great and cell signal was good and their wifi was ok....no ota tv or cable...the showers were very nice with a lot of hot water and they are free....used laundry, $2 wash and $2 45 minute dry.....there is a pool for those wishing to cool off....we just spent the night passing thru, nice park would stay again if in the area.....shopping, gas and restaurants nearby..... We camped at Brookside Campsite in a Motorhome.

We only over nighted here, but found it to be a great rv park. The sites were level and the hook ups good. We pulled through and didn't have to unhook our tow car. Sites were roomy with trees and bushes in between. They have a nice little pool. We camped at Brookside Campsite in a Motorhome.

Check-in was easy. Very friendly staff. We were unable to get DirectTV but that has been the norm in Canada. Of course that's not the park's problem since all the other satellite companies were accessible. We camped at Brookside Campsite in a Motorhome.

Very friendly staff, clean site, very nice washrooms. They could clean up the place a bit considering the couple of mounds of dirt and construction equipment, but if you ignore that, not a bad place for a night or two. We camped at Brookside Campsite in a Travel Trailer.

Price listed is for a pull through site with water, sewer and 30 amp electric. We arrived before the most of the overnighters so our site was OK, but narrow. This campground reports they were flooded by the spring runoff and the gas line was severed, so no hot water. They have done lots of work bringing in gravel to reduce the silt /mud, but there were still some soft spots. Several of the sites were short, so big rigs should have a reservation or arrive early. Bathroom was clean, but no hot water in May of 2017. WiFi didn't want to connect at all, but after a while one of our devices locked in and worked well while the others could not connect. Go Figure! We camped at Brookside Campsite in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Some sites may be a challenge for multiple sliders on both sides. Owners are working to restore service and get the pool operational. WiFi was quirky and unreliable for us!

This campground is small and kind of folksy, but the sites are too small. I paid more for a pull through, but the site could not fit both my 25' trailer and 20' truck. Also, it wasn't as level as I would have hoped. I had to park my TV elsewhere because of the small site - which was annoying because we were just passing through, staying for one night. I wanted to stay hitched up. The sites are very close together, the WiFi didn't work for us, and the cell service was weak. The pool was clean but very small. I suppose this campground is okay if you are just passing through., We camped at Brookside Campsite in a Travel Trailer.

We overnighted here on our way south. Unfortunately it did rain, so the place got a little muddy. A few loads of gravel here and there would surely help. Otherwise our site was level and large enough to accommodate us. Power and water worked well. WiFi wouldn't work at all for awhile. Then it finally connected but was abysmally slow. The grounds were clean and nicely landscaped. There were a couple of alpacas in a cage near our site. They appeared to be kindly creatures, however when the wind shifted we got a little "eau d'alpaca" permiating the trailer. I suppose we would stay here again. I made a short term reservation for the August long weekend and got in! Friendly and helpful staff. Nice setup and layout along a creek with plenty of trees. Gravel and narrow driveways, pull through and back in sites on gravel, dirt and grass, long enough but very narrow, we couldn't open the awning due to trees, fairly level, 30 amp power, water, sewer and WiFi, which worked most of the time, no cable TV, I didn't try satellite but it might work on plenty of sites. Sites for big rigs available but watch out or better have your spouse outside watching all the trees and branches. There is a pool but on the long weekend with all of North America travelling and staying somewhere it was simply not inviting. With that many people staying the wasrooms should have been cleaned more often. Some longtimers at the back end of the park and some parked RV's in questionable state of repair were detrimend to the overal good looks. We will stay again but preferably not on a long weekend. We camped at Brookside Campsite in a Motorhome.
