Overall Rating:

We stayed during a stormy wet weekend so did not use too much of the facilities. Lots of trees to drop needles and leaves on your unit. Overall it is fairly nice. Didn't like the fact that they charge a $6 reservation fee and will not accept Passport America discount without a reservation. No tv or internet. We camped at Country Maples RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This Holiday Trails park is in a valley removed from traffic and railways so it is quiet. Access from the south is difficult because you have to drive past about 1 km, make a u-turn, and come back to the park entrance. This park was an overnight stop for us so we asked for a pull-through site with full service which was fine but difficult to find. The sites are randomly placed within the resort and there are few directional signs so finding your site is difficult. We met another RV that checked in before us and they were having problems finding their site. The only problem we encountered was the smell of sewer gas which hung in the valley. Not sure where it was coming from. There is no TV or WiFi but our Telus phone worked fine. There is a clubhouse but the large television was broken so there was. no reception. We would return to this park. We camped at Country Maples RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We stayed here because this park is close to the totem poles and restaurants in Duncan. Also, it is just off Highway 1 and just south of a shopping mall if you need supplies.

This is a nice park. Very well kept. There is no internet or cable tv. No antenna tv either. This is a great place to take your children. Lots of activities for them. We camped at Country Maples RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very clean and well maintained. Nicely forested but very close to the highway and therefore noisy. We camped without services but close to facilities and commented on how it would make a great location for a family reunion or wedding with use of the large pavilion. We camped at Country Maples RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

A handy place to stop for the night. It looked like there were lots of activities for those with children. Much more forested than most privately owned RV parks and that's what attracted us.

Half the park is nearly new and the rest in good shape. Big shade trees and open pull throughs. No cable and weak, slow and expensive Tenego wi-fi. Rate is PPA and 3 for wi-fi. We would stay here again. We camped at Country Maples RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very lovely, scenic, with all the amenities. Close enough to town to get supplies but far enough away to feel like you are on 'holiday'. We will camp here whenever we can. We camped at Country Maples RV Resort in a Tent.

We stayed here on a Coast to Coast membership. This is a clean neat campground just above the Chemainus River. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had good satellite reception. Would definitely stay here again. The pull through site had room for our 60 foot length with the trailer on behind. We camped at Country Maples RV Resort in a Motorhome.
