Some trees, sites not too close. Biggest issue was sites are not level and major potholes in roads. On edge of town, little traffic noise and convenient to town We camped at Mile 0 Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Check out Canadian Tire store if you haven't been to one. Like Wal-Mart but nicer (no groceries). Get you photo at the mile 0 signpost.

I was surprised at how nice this campground was (far superior to nearby Alahart RV Park). interior roads are potholed. While some sites are close together we were at the far end of the campground (#41) and had decent privacy for a private campground. Sites are long and generally quite level (I did not see many RV's using leveling blocks). $38 Cdn for an EW pull-through site. While close to the Alaska Highway, there was no traffic noise during the night. There is a dump station on site. I checked the washrooms an hour before their scheduled daily cleaning time and despite the garbage can being full, they were clean and hot showers are free. Wash $2.50, dry $0.25 for 12 min. Satellite radio and TV reception is excellent. With an extender, WiFi was quite acceptable and we were at the far end of the campground. Pioneer Village (free) is located behind the office. We camped at Mile 0 Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Mixture of back-ins and pull throughs; good spacing between sites in our area; other areas seem closer together; no extra cost for showers, which was nice! Wifi worked great from our site. We camped at Mile 0 Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Rotary Park pool was closed at the time due to a safety issue so we couldn't swim as hoped. It was a great place for a family reunion and everything we needed otherwise was available like the large outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and lots of room for games and activities outdoors. We will stay here again. We camped at Mile 0 Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Pioneer Village is right next door and interesting and is very well done with lots of history and great displays. We actually went a couple times; there is so much to see and experience. The campsite is also close to shopping, golf, and a large recreation centre.

We had a nice large grassy site with full hook ups. The wifi had a strong signal and was easy to access. The laundry room had lots of machines, 2.50 per wash and .75 gave a good dry. The pioneer village attached was very interesting. We would recommend this campground, close to town easy access from any of 3 directions and big field to walk dogs in. We camped at Mile 0 Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park. We had a pull through site that they had redone. The asphalt pad had a large drop off on each side. The office personal were great and hook ups were good. Sites were very close together. We camped at Mile 0 Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice park with Pioneer Village and water area for children. The site we had was downhill slant and had to turn trailer the opposite direction as directed to pull in to unhook. Park is shady and very clean. Would stay here again. Be sure and make reservations as they seem to be very busy in the summer! We camped at Mile 0 Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Here as part of a group, so no idea as to price. Sites are so close our awnings are touching and if parking behind the coach, you have to step over your neighbor's sewer to get to your door. Some grass, some shade. There were 2 trailers parked next to the bath/laundry with at least 8 kids between the 2 women who sat outside and smoked while their kids bombed the laundry room and bath with water balloons. Had to sweep and clean it out before I could get in to do laundry. The children ran helter/ skelter screaming all over the campground. On the positive side, location is good, utilities were good, one channel with the TV, no cable, and no satellite. Phone and wifi were both good. Pioneer Village next door very well done. A short one night only for me if nothing else is available. We camped at Mile 0 Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Little pricey. Friendly. Quiet, good location. Lots to do, walk to playground, pond, or Pioneer Village. Clean enough, good laundry facilities. Common kitchen sink was backed up, but thinking that was a camper putting food down it. We camped at Mile 0 Park & Campground in a Truck Camper.

The staff here were great. The sites are organized in sections and not lined up in rows. This made it seem less crowded to me. Washrooms and laundry seemed "rustic" but worked. Pioneer Village attached was a nice place to explore. We camped at Mile 0 Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground was conveniently located In Dawson Creek and next to a Pioneer Museum. The Wi-Fi was OK and the sites were long pull-throughs, although close together. The nice thing was it was on the far side of town so we were able to leave in the morning and get right on the road. It was fine for an overnight stay. We camped at Mile 0 Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is just a basic Alaska Highway campground. Gravel sites, close together. Two OTA TV stations, rooftop satellite ok. Very weak wifi. 30 amp Electric and water were adequate, no sewer. Room to walk the pup. The campground itself was clean and we felt safe. We may try a different campground next time. We stayed here in a travel trailer, we would stay here again. Campground in the outskirt of town. Lots of trees, sites close together but we were on the end of a row so had lots of room. Nice village next door with lots of old things to view. All utilities worked well and staff was friendly. The only negative was that the sites were not real level. We camped at Mile 0 Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this campground in both June and August. In June, this campground was packed but by August, there were many sites available. We were assigned a 30 amp FHU pull thru. We were lucky to be assigned a site on the end of a row so we had much more space. Trees needed trimming in June but by Auagust, the trimming had been taken care of. Office staff was friendly. One must go sit by the office to access the wifi. We did not use the bathhouse or laundry. There is a Wal-Mart in town but it is not a super center and sold only limited amount of groceries. Nice photo opp at the visitor's center for the start of the Alaska Highway. This place is nothing special but served our needs. We would stay here again. We camped at Mile 0 Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
