A very nice park, probably the nicest one in the area; the owners are working very hard to keep it well maintained and managed. Problems with the WiFi were being corrected; owner mentioned they might have to have a new system installed. Gravel lot can be quite muddy when it rains; be prepared to take your shoes off to enter restrooms and laundry area. Park is frequently used by caravan groups and there are a few full-time workers living here. We will stay here again. We camped at Northern Lights RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

I checked in with a reservation. After paying I asked if that was the Good Sam rate. The attendant stated no, and she took no action to change my reservation. The bathrooms/showers were very clean. The showers were coin operated, something I had not seen in many years. It was quite windy at this location. I doubt if I will stop here again. Good stop at the beginning of the Alaska Hwy. Everything worked as advertised although the 2 days were we here they were having Wi-Fi issues. It worked but at times was painfully slow. They had a technician working on it for more than a day. Friendly, helpful current owners, easy in and out of pull-through sites. Rate reflects Good Sam discount. We would return in the future. Campground has gravel roads and sites with a bit of grass (in the summer). WiFi works moderately well. Laundry and shower facilities were excellent. The parks fills quickly during tourist season. We were part of a group of 23 motorhomes gathering for a tour. There was another group there as well. It is a great place from which to start a tour of the Alaskan highway. Friendly and accommodating staff. Nice pull-through sites. Clean and quiet. I would definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Northern Lights RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

There is a sign on the door to the laundry/shower/restroom building that says "no street shoes allowed beyond this point". When I entered I totally understood why. These are the nicest glass enclosed shower stalls I have ever seen in a campground. The laundry room was also immaculate and their prices are very reasonable on washers and dryers. Check-in staff was very friendly and helpful. Spots are large, most are pull through, but they are gravel. Water, elec, and sewer hookups are located for easy access and power was 120vAC with no fluctuations during our two day stay. Wi-Fi was strong and very fast. The young couple that own this park now are working hard to add improvements. Trees have been planted, landscaping is in progress and grass is planned. We will stay here every time we are in Dawson Creek. We camped at Northern Lights RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a very nice park. The folks, who run the place, took very good care of us, and pointed out all the tourist information for the area. It is well located and very quiet. We definitely would stay here again We camped at Northern Lights RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

We stayed here 2 nights in the middle of winter. Didn't get to meet anybody because all of our reservation / transactions were done by phone. Super friendly and helpful folks. Site was cleared of snow and water, power, everything working. WiFi was strong and super fast. The best place we have stayed this winter. We camped at Northern Lights RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Large gravel spaces, good valley views, friendly owners. One of the best laundry rooms ever. I didn't use the showers but they look as good as any nice hotel. Strong Wi-Fi and cable TV. Highly recommended. We camped at Northern Lights RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

There may be friendlier park owners but we have not met them. Fairly new owners (husband and wife and we met wife) of an older park that they are upgrading. The have put in a new building containing individual rooms each with restroom/shower (immaculate tile floors/walls and glass door shower and pedestal sink!), a sizeable laundry facility, and a meeting space aimed at caravans. Wi-Fi was speedy (nearly 3 mb tested speed) and cable TV worked well. Limited channels (2-13) but more that adequate for a couple of days stay. Apparently the owner has added Wi-Fi repeaters to provide excellent service. Owner was very helpful with information about the area in the event we wanted to stay longer. Spaces appeared to be double-wide and our rig was level when we pulled in. Utilities were appropriately placed and sewer was close to ground for thorough dump. Nice views of the surrounding countryside. We camped at Northern Lights RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Nice Park, sites small and gravel only. Owner/managers very friendly and helpful. Downside, laundry is overpriced as are the pay showers. Would we stay again, but not if we didn't need full hookups. We camped at Northern Lights RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

We camped here as part of a caravan. Would not stay again. Sites are small and unlevel. The site next to ours had no seating area so we had to share ours. Owner required guests to remove their shoes to use the laundry or meeting room! Wi-Fi signal is weak and Internet is very slow. We would have been happier staying in the parking lot of the local WalMart. We camped at Northern Lights RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

The rate reflects a 30 amp site with a 10% AAA discount. This is a very convenient campground just outside of town on Highway 97 South. We had a site further back in the campground so road noise was not a big issue, although it could be heard. The WiFi signal was very strong and relatively fast. There are few trees so satellite was possible, although it is very low in the sky up this far north. Our Verizon phone had a strong signal. The woman that checked us in was very nice and helpful in pointing out where to find things to stock up in Dawson Creek. The laundry room was very clean. This is not a destination park, but a great place to stay for an overnight on your journey. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Northern Lights RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Sort of expensive (for us) but worth it. The park was clean with great Wi-Fi. Easy access to town. The owners were very friendly. We camped at Northern Lights RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Park is mostly gravel with some sites having grass. Sites are fairly level with hookups in proper locations. Lots of dust because of the gravel roads and site areas. We camped at Northern Lights RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
