This park is on the main highway 37. The entrance is very tight, need to cut some branches on it as well as in the park.

We were on a tour with 24 RV units. The owner/ manager was a complete ass. He was rude to our wagon master, doesn't have a diagram of his park, in short this park owner needs an attitude adjusting, or get out of this business. Will not stay ever at this park. Will not recommend it either. We camped at Dease Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Southern part of the Cassiar Highway very good until the Stewart Cut off 37A. Northern portion paved but pretty rough. Much more scenic than the Caribou from Dawson Creek to Ft Nelson.

Sites are level gravel and most are about 60' long with 15' between sites. There's a few immature trees and limited grass to break up the gravel. There's no cell phone, no cable TV, and trees might prevent satellite. Park wifi wouldn't connect. There's a pay RV wash that's located in the rocks and mud off to one side. Petro Canada nearby has fuel. This park is okay for an overnight but it's no gem. Owner is fanatical about no washing or rinsing, even just to clean your windshield. Go slow or you'll miss the somewhat hidden turn in to the park. We camped at Dease Lake RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Arrived at this place mid-afternoon and it was empty. Drove through to make sure they had the amenities we needed and as we did the owner came outside and was staring at us. I parked and went inside to register and the first words out of his mouth were: "What you think yer doin drivin thru my place?" I thought he was kidding as most of the Canadian RV proprietors were nice and had something of a sense of humor. My mind changed about that when he asked the question again and I told him why. He then said "Of course I have hookups" and proceeded to toss the registration pad on the counter. At that point I decided that he didn't really need my business so I thanked him and walked out. I wasn't sure what his problem was but he sure had an attitude for a business owner who had surplus inventory and not a lot of customers. Needless to say, we didn't stay long enough to hook up or use any facilities but from the looks of what we saw it was a treeless parking lot, not very inviting and certainly not very welcoming. Absolutely not recommended. We camped at Dease Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Drive down the road about 50 miles to another RV Park in an absolutely breathtaking setting, large and spotlessly maintained sites and very nice folks running the place. They actually seem very happy to see you.

Nothing fancy but nice level pull-through sites with full hookups. Utilities worked well and the Wi-Fi was good. Easy in and out of the campground and easy to get around in. The site we had was just long enough for our 40' motorhome and Jeep. We would stay here again. We camped at Dease Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

The drive to Telegraph Creek is beautiful, especially pass the 50 mile mark. Expect to spend about 5 to 6 hours on it.

Poor wifi/nonexistent when away from office. No Cable TV. Owner very grumpy and bothered. Neighbor's 6 dog were a nuisance and bayed early in the morning and roamed the park bothering guests that were walking there dogs. Overall the park itself wasn't bad but the proprietor was not friendly. We camped at Dease Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

In agreement with everyone else. Rack rate of $27 for FHU. Not bad for what it is. Points lost for no table, no fire ring and slow sometimes spotty Wi-Fi. Late May and we were also the only transients in the CG. A good place to stop for a recharge, a dump, do laundry and a re-water if you have been dry camping in the Provincial Parks. We camped at Dease Lake RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The sites were fairly typical in being somewhat close, but since we were the only ones there our first night, and only two other rigs joined us the second night, it felt very spacious. Our site was next to a spring and there was very attractive fall color vegetation surrounding the campground. Water and electricity were good; we used their dump station on the way out. Wi-Fi was good. This was a good place to stay while we explored Telegraph Creek and its great Canyon. We would stay there again. We camped at Dease Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ok for a night. Lots of mosquitoes. Ok showers - $1 for 7 minutes. Wi-Fi is very very slow. Park is for sale. One restaurant in town is ok - next to grocery and gas. A lot of parking space. We would stay here again. We camped at Dease Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice long site for pull through and the utilities worked fine. No TV. Internet was not that strong at the site, had to sit in the mosquito infested picnic site: and it worked fine there. Nothing fancy but OK for one night. We camped at Dease Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rate shown includes all taxes. Site was a fairly level pull-through. Electric was 30 amp and all utilities worked. No TV, but 2 local radio stations. Wi-Fi signal good enough for email or surfing. A good enough place for overnight. We camped at Dease Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good overnight stop. Gravel roads and pull-through sites with full hook ups. Family owned with owners onsite. Wi-Fi was weak in the park. I had to sit in the office for good signal. Fuel and good restaurant close by. Dish network SAT worked from the park. We would stay here again We camped at Dease Lake RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We had traveled a long way this day and were happy to find they accepted tents. Although this campground mainly caters to RV's, we found an acceptable tent site. The couple (owners?) who checked us in were courteous and helpful. Definitely just an "overnighter"-type place, but it suited our needs during this particular instance. We camped at Dease Lake RV Park in a Tent.
