Stayed in site 21. Lady in office very helpful and accommodating. As stated by others, road noise from Hwy 16 and a little train noise, but no whistles. Very well kept up, but could use some TLC on the facilities. We camped at Piper's Glen Campground in a Motorhome.

We had site 4 which was a little uneven. This is a very beautiful park that over looks Fraser Lake. The lady working the in the office was very friendly and helpful. There is vehicle noise from the hwy but you get use to it. We camped at Piper's Glen Campground in a Motorhome.

Second day today. Great park. We booked in advance and have FHU. The sites are level. The owner came by as we hooked up to check and see if everything was okay. She is very friendly and easy to get along with. We went into Fraser Lake and found a great Mexican restaurant. Okay there is road noise and trains. No big deal you get used to it. Lots of the campers were very friendly. Definitely will be here again. We camped at Piper's Glen Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is an average campground that has a lovely view of Fraser Lake. However, as others have noted, the campground is situated on Highway 16, so expect traffic noise day and night. As the passing trains do not blow their whistle, there is minimal train noise. There are a few 30 amp sites (most of which are pull-through), but the majority of sites are 15 amp. No sites have sewer, but there is a central dump station. Each site has a picnic table, a fire pit and there is a tree between each of the pull-through sites. It sounds much nicer than it is, as there is very little space between sites. Based on seeing most RV's using leveling blocks, sites are not level from side to side. The dump station is sloped downwards, so do not expect to be able to completely empty your tanks. There is a floating wharf (see pic on website) and they have paddle boat rentals. Internet is passable if close to the office and not many other campers are using it. Good for an overnight. We camped at Piper's Glen Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a basic campground with an awesome view of Fraser Lake. We managed to get a 30 amp site, but most are 15 amp. Each site has a pine tree, fire ring and table but no sewer. The sites are all grass but they had mowed and it was quite nice. There is also a large grassy area for the kids to play in. A short walk down to the lake, across the railroad tracks, leads to a dock for fishing. We managed to get satellite here. All afternoon and evening there was a lot of traffic in the highway which is right next to the campsites. The trains also ran several times on the tracks which actually run through the property below the sites toward the lake We used ear plugs and didn't have any problem sleeping. We would stay here again for 1 night on the way elsewhere. We camped at Piper's Glen Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

After reading the other reviews, I had some concern that Piper's Glen would be a dud, but I didn't find that to be the case at all. I called for my reservation a few weeks prior to arriving, so I had no problem getting a 30 amp hookup. The view is fantastic, overlooking Fraser Lake. Yes, the TransCanada highway is behind us, but I doubt that it will create any disturbance. Also, the Canadian National Railway is below us, but again, I can't say that is an issue.

This looks to be a rather pleasant campground with a play area for the kids, a place for tent camping, canoes for rent, etc.

I would stay here again. We camped at Piper's Glen Campground in a Motorhome.

This RV park has a beautiful view of Fraser Lake just downhill to the north. It is situated just below Highway 16 and just above the railroad tracks so expect some noise 24/7. The sites are mostly on grass with power and water but sanitation is through the communal dump. The vast majority of business comes from transients staying for one night so it is easy and possible to meet people coming from where you are heading or vice versa and that coupled with the view is probably its major attraction. We camped at Piper's Glen Campground in a Motorhome.

We did not camp here but tried to get a spot as we were tired. They had plenty of vacancies but they were all 15amp. From what the lady told me they have very few 30 amps. When I had asked for 30 amp, she looked at me like I was weird. The place looks OK and has a nice view over a lake but BEWARE 30 amp service is a rarity. We camped at Piper's Glen Campground in a Motorhome.
