Needs some redo of facilties. Bathroom hasn't been renovated since the 70s. Pricey for whats here. Restaurant is rustic (yeah, needs some updating). Food is good. Park has all the amenities. Just that they are old-except for the truck and rv wash. We camped at Triple G Hideaway in a Fifth Wheel.

Had a pull through site since there was no one already in our site. The pull throughs are back to back, so a second RV must back in. The site was gravel and took a one inch board to level side to side. The cable was OK. The WI-FI was difficult to hook up to, but if you got on, the WI-FI was OK. There is grass on each side of the site and a picnic table with a fire pit. Nice park. Some sites had trees; our site was in direct sun. We camped at Triple G Hideaway in a Travel Trailer.

There is a restaurant in the park that had good food. Next door is the Fort Nelson Heritage Museum. The museum is a fascinating and interesting place.

Decent park on the Alaska Highway. Spacing was adequate. Staff very friendly and helpful. On site restaurant, but we didn't try it. Short walk to the museum, which I highly recommend. There's a gym with a pool that's about another 5-10 minute walk. Was pouring rain when we arrived, so roads were a bit muddy but really not that bad. We camped at Triple G Hideaway in a Motorhome.

We really liked the park. The only reason we gave it a 9 and not a 10 is they only had 30 amps. The people at the front desk were very nice. It was nice they had a restaurant. After a long day of driving who wants to cook? The foods was very good but huge portions! The park was nicely kept up. They had gravel lots. It had a lot of washers and dryers; more than I have ever seen in a park. Overall, it was a nice experience. We definitely will go back! We camped at Triple G Hideaway in a Motorhome.

This park is convenient and has lots of services. The sites are good size, and spread out. The office building is a souvenier store, restaurant, bar, and all around good place. The wifi at the restaurant is great. The owners are very friendly and willing to help out in any way. Like this place. We camped at Triple G Hideaway in a Fifth Wheel.

Two-night stay on way to Alaska. Not much to do in town so one night should be sufficient. Very nice office personnel. Good breakfast in onsite restaurant. Good cable service. Verizon LTE 2 bars. Gravel roads and sites. We were site 18 among tall trees. Really liked it. Would stay again. We camped at Triple G Hideaway in a Travel Trailer.

This is our favorite RV park on the Alaska Highway so far. We were greeted by Mama D, who made us feel like family. The sites are roomy with lots of beautiful trees. There is a restaurant on site that served a great home cooked meal. There is a self serve power washer for cars and RVs. All of the people who work there are very friendly and helpful. We camped at Triple G Hideaway in a Motorhome.

I was very surprised when we pulled into this park. The Big Rigs book (2016 Edition) recommends that you dry camp in town. They are so wrong. We have a 45' coach pulling a truck and we had a nice pull through and did not have to unhook. There are some trees but they are well groomed. The power was good and they had an RV wash. Also they had a small bar and restaurant that was good. No need to leave the park. I would definitely stay here again. Do not dry camp in town. No need if you are a big rig. We camped at Triple G Hideaway in a Motorhome.

We stopped here on our journey to Alaska. It was pouring rain and had been for about 4 days, so the sites were very wet, but not sink in wet, just wet. It did have large enough sites to pull thru without disconnecting our tow. Like much of Canada it only has 30 amp power, but it did have water and sewer and a large fairly new laundry. What I especially like about this campground was the bar and the restaurant. After a long day driving it was a real nice stop. It was rustic the people very friendly and the food was excellent, much more than you would expect at a campground, I had the Saturday special which was a steak, cooked perfectly. It also has wifi which was a nice treat, since we have not been online for days , its amazing how much you can miss the Internet !! We camped at Triple G Hideaway in a Motorhome.

RV Parks in the north country in general are kind of rough around the edges compared to the US. This one is pretty decent, though. The sites vary widely with some very long and some really short. Some seem pretty level; ours was not. The water quit running a few hours after we got there, but they got it fixed within a couple hours so I give them props for that. There is a café and bar which looked decent. Didn't use it though so can't comment further. My main complaint was that the restroom/shower building was old and very unappealing. PLUS, they charge for showers. For $40 CDN (Good Sam rate), I feel it's a total rip off to charge for showers. A sign on the wall said to use $1 coins, but one of the stalls I looked at was obviously set up for quarters. No mention of how much time your $1 gets you either. No thanks. I used our own. It's right on the highway, but there isn't a whole lot of traffic at night so I didn't have a problem with the noise. The wi-fi actually worked pretty well and there was 3-4 bars of Telus service on the cellphone. There is only one other RV park in town and it looked pretty bad, so I think this is your best bet. We camped at Triple G Hideaway in a Truck Camper.

An overnight stay for us in a very nice park. Our site was a fairly level pull thru with easy access. The office worker was very nice when checking us in. There is a restaurant onsite that was doing a pretty brisk business. Only reason that we chose to not eat there was because we were just too tired. This was a great park to stop in on our way to Alaska. We'd definitely stay here again. We camped at Triple G Hideaway in a Travel Trailer.
