If you are looking for a family campground, and you plan to stay for a few days, this is a great place. However, if you are passing through and only need a spot for one-night, I wouldn't recommend it. The road in is about 3 ½ miles and it is all washboard and pot holes. So, drive slowly. The sites are all in the trees and the trees are thick, so there is not much natural sunlight that comes through nor is there much green vegetation undergrowth. There are a lot of trees, so if you have a bigger camper be careful as you may need to navigate trees to get in to your site. We did. Site #11 was long enough to hold us as we are 52 feet pulling a trailer, but it was tight and the narrow entrance was a little challenging-practice backing up before coming here. Also, if you plan to spend a few days, we saw most people place plastic tarps and covers over their tents and campers. When I asked if that was because of the rain, I was told it was because of the pine needles as there are many that fall. Hick's lake is beautiful. It is great for swimming, fishing, and canoeing and small boating. You can see glimpses of it through the trees from many campsites. There is a nice walking trail that goes around it. We camped at Sasquatch Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

This is a pretty big park at 3,000 acres. The campgrounds are located near the back of it at the end of a gravel road. They can be a little cooler than the Fraser Valley as they are up in the mountains. There is also a really beautiful day-use area called Green Point down at Harrison Lake, turn left down the hill before entering the park. Some very nice trails and also canoe rentals to explore the lakes. Lots of logging roads nearby to explore. Very handy to Vancouver and Harrison village has sandy beaches, restaurants and ice cream. We camped at Sasquatch Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Cheap since it's a provincial park. The park rangers are very nice. I wished they had full washrooms though and not just outhouses. Otherwise, would return here again! We camped at Sasquatch Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

I camped at Hick's Lake in spot #7. I really enjoyed it, although the spots right adjacent to the lake get windy in the afternoon. Note that there are lots of water taps around the campground, but none fitted with hose threads for filling RV water tanks. I was also surprised that there was no potable water tap at the sanitary station. So fill your tanks before you come. The easy hike around Hicks Lake takes less than an hour. I loved the lake, next time I will bring my kayak. Also note that there are no services up here except outhouses. Enjoy BC's parks! We camped at Sasquatch Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice Campsite. Unfortunatley the Park Staff were offensive, rude and aggressive! I suggest some kind of host training, as these people had absolutley no manners. We were not ruining anyone else's experience, there were no complaints against us: we asked the nieghbors. But they used 3 staff members, intimidation and threat tactics to stop us when singing songs by the fire. The only staff member who was civil, was an older staff member on Sunday, who actually said good morning. Asked how we were doing, then politely informed us of certain rules. Definitely not worth the money! We camped at Sasquatch Provincial Park in a Tent.

Sasquatch Provincial Park is located a little NE of Harrison Hot Springs BC. There are three campgrounds - Lakeside, Hicks Lake and Bench. The first two are on small lakes and have a limited number of lakeside sites. All are heavily wooded. with large and well-separated sites. Most of the sites are on a reservation system but there are some first-come sites in each campground. The campgrounds are about seven miles from town, the last three of which are on a fairly good unpaved road. There is a dump station a mile or so before the first campground turnoff but there is no water there. Potable water is available from central spigots in each campground but filling a large tank from them is awkward, so going in with a full tank is recommended. Firewood is available for purchase from the rangers. We enjoyed this park and will go there again. We camped at Sasquatch Provincial Park in a Motorhome.
