This is a beautiful park, mostly ownership, with first class amenities, landscaping, beautiful curb appeal. We met several residents who were friendly and welcoming. The owners are really nice, always working hard, very friendly and helpful. If I were looking to buy an RV lot, this one would be on the short list. As a transient site, it had some shortcomings however. We were expecting a premium site with 50 amps, but I guess none were available, so we ended up with 30 amps and a site that was almost impossible to get in and out of with our 36 foot class A. The interior roads are narrow with tight turns, lined with parked cars and shrubs and lots of speed bumps. The wifi was only able to handle light use on the phone; couldn't load a google map on the tablet. That's disappointing for a high end resort. That said, I don't think there are any better options in the area and we would come back if we could get a larger site. We camped at Springs RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Nice setting with forest views and some sites with views of beautiful Mt Cheam. Staff was very helpful, friendly and welcoming as are many of the residents. Large, level gravel lots with picnic tables and some "family spots" with LP fire rings &/or patios. Premium spots are a little larger with a grassy area behind your rig, very close to adult pool & clubhouse, but no fire ring. Park is on the main road into town so expect some road noise during the day. As there are many full time residents who own lots in this park, also not uncommon to hear pressure washers or leaf blowers. Park is close to the lake, hot spring pools and shops - about 10 min walk. Park amenities great: pool was closed but looked nice as did the hot tube, bathrooms modern and very clean! Nice play area for children and fenced in dog run. Overall nice place to stay for families with kids as there's lots for them to do especially when the pool is open. Note that on the weekend, and I am sure during the summer break, there are lots of kids running around making noise. We camped at Springs RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a membership park where all but six rental sites are owned or for sale. It is an old rv park that has been renovated, new pools and spas added (one for adults and one for families), a pavilion with a fireplace and sitting area and a huge clubhouse with library, tv room, and balcony overlooking the resort. We rented a private lot that came with patio, table, shade pavilion, space for the rv, and full services. There is no cable tv and limited wifi. The road in front of our site is narrow and because there is little room to turn it took some time and effort to back the rv into the lot. If your unit is more than 25 to 30 feet rent one of the rental lots and save yourself much grief. We stayed 7 nights and during the week it was very quiet but much busier and noisier on the weekend. This resort is about one km from Harrison Hot Springs so you can walk to the village but after the first time you will want to drive. You have to go to the village for all of your supplies, food, and fuel. The resort is beside the main road so there is significant road noise most of the day and night. We would stay here again but only in the rental lots and during the week. We camped at Springs RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a community hot spring spa in the village with many unique stores and shops along the lake front street. Activities include boat tours on the lake, boat rentals, bike rentals, and a wide range of eating places.

This is a very nice RV park. Most of the lots are intended for sale and from what I gather, most are meant for those who purchase as a summer home, so not exactly full-time RVing except perhaps in the summer. As such, most of the sites have decks and gazebos built in. I gather that some sites are purchased but are used periodically and rented out to visitors at other times. We were put in Phase 2, which is new. Our site was therefore just gravel. The clubhouse and pool in Phase 2 were not yet finished. On one hand it was nice to be in Phase 2 as it is very quiet right now, most sites being new and unoccupied. On the other hand, it's the same rate for having to walk across to amenities, and the Wi-Fi is not good at all in Phase 2. In general: well kept, playground and carousel were fun for the little kids, the owners were very nice, it is pet friendly ($5 extra for dogs), and the pool is lovely and clean, as are the restrooms. We camped at Springs RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We are RV newbies and made our “baby steps” 4-night first trip two ours down the road to Springs RV Resort. In short, it was perfect, right down to the weather. Very friendly and helpful operators. We have a TT 24’ bumper to hitch. Our spot was gravel covered, no weeds, level and deep enough so we could park our full size truck right in front as if hitched up. Would have taken a very long rig (we had spot 126). The spot also had a new 10'x10’ new wood deck and we could have parked the truck in front of that. Each pair of spots is surrounded on 3 sides with a new 6’ cedar fence. We had a 30-amp service and good tasting water but there is 50-amp power available. There is free Wi-Fi with a strong signal at the central buildings but weak to sometimes not there in our spot. The park has key card access control. The whole place is spotless and manicured. Central facilities are very new and include a beautiful pool with hot tub, great change rooms/showers and coin laundry. There is a separate new gathering building where you could have a BBQ. No open fires at your site (municipal bylaw) but propane fire pits are OK - they even offered to lend us one. There is a nice grassed fenced kids playground. Dog friendly but on leash only. The park is set up as fractional ownership of lots and most of phase 1 are sold, occupied and tastefully appointed with some very nice rigs. The adjacent phase 2 looks to be all leveled with gravel and site servicing with new main building and adults-only pool under construction. 1 km walk north on sidewalk to the Harrison Hot Springs waterfront, and a gorgeous 9-hole full-length golf course 1 km south. Nice pubs and places to eat nearby if you tire of eating in your trailer. Lots of nearby walking trails and Sasquatch Provincial Park nearly – try the 5 km circle walk around Hicks Lake. $54/night + $5 pet fee. We camped at Springs RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This RV park has terrific bathrooms, a lovely pool (depth only 4 1/2 feet) and hot tub. The park is very clean, secure and we found it to be quiet. Our particular site was a challenge to enter ( two 90 degree turns to back in). The management staff did offer another site but we chose to stay as it did offer some shade and the alternative had no privacy or shade. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We felt that the daily summer rate was steep but again, alternatives within Harrison's walking distance are scarce. We camped at Springs RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Expensive but about the best option we saw in town. We had booked another resort to have some trees around but it was a dump and way too small for our trailer. Thankfully, Springs had a site available. It seemed like the huge majority of sites were full timers. It was a bit tight but I was able to get our trailer in there. They obviously don't have many people coming and going. Beautiful pool and clubhouse area. A pretty decent playground with an old carousel the kids loved. Not a natural park though. It is basically a big gravel parking lot with services. Most sites do have some privacy because the long term residents have put up fences. We camped at Springs RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very large lots. Not set up for in and out traffic. Brand new washrooms, showers and pool with hot tub. Very clean. A little crowded and noisy for me but it is OK for an overnight stay. We camped at Springs RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We choose Harrison Hot Springs to meet friends from Vancouver that like to stay at the lodge. The Springs RV Resort seemed to be the best choice after looking online. Pulling into the gravel driveway I said to my wife: "Oh-No!" Most sites have a trailer parked for the season with the rest of the sites were overbuilt with decks, tents, gazebos, fences grills and more. Some people combined two or more sites for a really big family and/or friends compound. Heavy smokers abound. Our site was all plain gravel with one tree and an old wood picnic table. Getting backed in was not easy but the local residents were friendly and helpful. The music and TV was constant from nearby sites from 8AM to the 11PM quiet time. That said, at 11PM it did get very quiet. This seems to be a park the long-term family and friends return to decade after decade. On the plus side, the new owners have invested in a nice new pool and clubhouse area (children filled). If the rest of the park were this nice, The Springs would be a worthy stop when visiting BC. That said the other local parks did not look much better from the outside either. We camped at Springs RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We have been seasonal campers at this park for the past three years, and have witnessed it's transformation, under new ownership, from an older, out-dated campground to an up-graded, well-planned resort community. Each summer has brought changes and improvements, including improved water and electrical services, better roads, landscaping, grassy areas, and coming soon, a pool, hot tub, and clubhouse. The park is very child friendly, with activities planned on weekends, such as arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, movies in the park, dances, etc. For the adults there are golf tournaments, poker games, bocce, and barbecues. Improvements are on-going at the park, and we are looking forward to our fourth summer at The Springs at Harrison. We camped at Springs RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We have camped here for the last 5 years. It is a friendly and over all clean campsite. The management and staff are friendly and helpful. There is alot of changes happening that will increase the luster of the park. This year there is a new pool and hot tub, and they will also be an asset. We can't wait for camping season so that we can see the changes made. We camped at Springs RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We reserved our sites in advance. On reservation we specified that we had travel trailers with slide outs. Upon arrival we were given two sites that were not compatible for travel trailers but tent trailers. The staff was rude and not willing to accommodate us. We will never recommend this place. The campground is now called Springs RV. Wi-Fi didn't work, they staff was friend and the park overall was clean. The only garbage bins we could find was at the front gate not very convenient. We had camped here in the past and we enjoyed the wide grassy sites as we have small grandchildren. The nice grassy sites had been replaced with sharp gravel, our grandson fell and got pretty scrapped up. It just wasn't kid friendly. They did have a play area but even walking on the sharp jagged rocks was difficult for all of us. Also it was very disappointing that they had removed a huge tree stump that you could walk into, we were looking forward to taken our annual picture of the grand kids in the stump but it was gone. It was a very disappointing trip we won't be returning. We camped at Springs RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The park is still being modernized, except they did not go to 50 amp when re-wiring! Sites are mixed season/permanent and transient, making it really tight to get into a site for a short stay. Future plans call for a separation of transients, putting them closer to the main road into the village. Overall, park is clean, well-managed, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Wi-Fi works well in some areas. Lots of rabbits, birds, mountain scenery. Of the RV parks in the area, it's the nicest, and easiest in which to park and leave. This park has gotten some bad reviews in the past, but seems to have improved a lot. There are a large number of permanent or seasonal residents, some who own their sites, but everything is neat and tidy. The sites graveled with some mature trees and the entire property is surrounded by trees. There is a miniature golf course and they are adding a hot tub. Free wifi is available but the signal was weak and performance was spotty. The managers were very helpful in solving a couple of small problem. We camped at Springs RV Resort in a Motorhome.
