This is another beautiful lakeside BC provincial park. The entry road and road throughout the campground are in very good condition, and there is a turnaround loop at the end of the road. Water is from a hand pump, but it was not clear in colour, so we did not use it. There is no dump station. There is a wharf, a boat launch, and a small day use area. We were lucky enough to get a lakeside site and very much enjoyed our stay. Advance reservation is not possible. A campground staff comes by around 6pm to collect the $20 camping fee. Many sites will accommodate even the largest rigs. My only complaint about this campground is the layout of the sites. Entry into sites can be difficult, unless you have excellent backing-in skills. There have dug ditches on both sides of the road as well as on either side of most sites. Even with double sites, they have terraced these and placed large boulders between the sites, so any advantage of added width for manoeuvring is lost. We camped at Kinaskan Lake Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Hwy 37 is now paved or chipsealed the entire length. For the most part there are NO shoulders, so watch out for the semi's that like to hug the centre line - it can be a white knuckle experience.

This is an excellent provincial park. There are plenty of large sites available. My spot was large enough for my 37 foot rig and tow car with plenty of space left over. I was in a spot next to the lake. The interior roads are paved. These guys know how to put together a really nice campground. Of course, being a provincial park, there are no hook-ups, but the scenery is fantastic.

I would stay here again. We camped at Kinaskan Lake Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Great stop on the Cassiar. Firewood delivered to your spot when campground fee is collected. Would use again. Like every other Provincial campground--wonderful! We camped at Kinaskan Lake Provincial Park in a Truck Camper.

Really nice provincial park. Lots of campsites on the lake. If you bring a boat, you can tie it up at your campsite when you aren't on the water. The campsites on the lake were mostly 2 campers to a site, so your neighbor was really close. The sites not on the lake were singles and had lots of space and privacy. Campground host was very friendly and offered suggestions on things to do in the area. We were without cell phone (Canada Bell), WiFi, radio or OTA (Over the Air) television. We camped at Kinaskan Lake Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Half of the sites are right on the lake and most of those have gravel ramps for easy launching of canoe or kayak. Very nice park and excellent sites. We camped at Kinaskan Lake Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

This very nice Provincial Park is right along the Cassiar Highway, so is very convenient. It is far enough off of the highway that road noise is not a big problem, although it can be heard. Many of the sites are along the lake with nice views of the water. Some of the sites are fairly well separated, but there are many double spaces where you will be quite close to your neighbor. There is some vegetation for privacy. The water source is a hand pump and there is no dump station, so plan on arriving with all of your water needs and haul out your waste. Our Verizon phone had no signal and the trees preclude any satellite signal. The campground host/manager comes around to collect the fee and campfire wood is available for a reasonable $5 per large bundle. This is another very nice BC Provincial park and we would definitely stay here again. We camped at Kinaskan Lake Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Wonderful campground on Kinaskan Lake. Hosts are very helpful. All sites are back-in, spacious, most are level. Some sites will support big rigs. Wonderful spot to spend the night, or a few days if you are traveling the Cassiar Hwy. Dry camping. Access road has a circle at the end so entering with a tow vehicle to pick a spot is acceptable. We camped at Kinaskan Lake Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

We loved this park. It has a central hand-operated water pump with good water, and pit toilets (which are cleaned daily). There is no electric service. The sites are large and separated by trees. The water-front sites are only a few steps from the breath-takingly beautiful lake, and boat/kayak put-ins are very easy. We strongly recommend this park. We camped at Kinaskan Lake Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful view of the lake. Park had just opened and everything was being painted. Sites were raked and firepits & pit toilets were clean. We found several sites that would hold our 36' 5th wheel and big truck. Nice campground host collected fee. We camped at Kinaskan Lake Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great stop while traveling the Cassiar Highway. It's in a pretty mountain setting on a beautiful lake. There are many nice lakefront sites. The sites are on the narrow side but our 40' motorhome with slides and car fit nicely. There is good privacy between sites. There are clean vault toilets, no showers, trash bin, water pump (a sign recommends you boil it first) and no dump station. There is a large turnaround at the end of the campsite road so big rigs can drive in easily without unhooking their towed vehicle. We would definitely stay again. This is at Km365 of the Cassiar Highway just south of Iskut and north of Meziadin Junction. We camped at Kinaskan Lake Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

A Provincial campground and it's beautiful. Lots of waterfront sites and the fishing is excellent. The campground host was very courteous and helpful. Very clean and firewood was available for purchase. Would stay here again. We camped at Kinaskan Lake Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.
