We only stayed over night. They had two sites left. The site was long enough so we didn't have to disconnect. The site seemed level but there was snow on the ground so hard to say for sure. The site had been plowed but not very wide. We had 50 amp service that worked well. The water was winter water. Sewage was even dug out of the snow so we could find it. WiFi didn't work. Showered are new, clean and lots of hot water. Laundry room was clean. The snow on the ground made getting in and out a little hard but they have had way more snow than normal. We camped at Kamloops RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Our site was a gravel pull-in which meant we had to back out when leaving. It was hot and the best part of this site was a huge tree that provided shade. The site had a paver brick patio and a table. Spacing was pretty tight as our awning was within inches of our neighbour's slideouts. All utilities worked fine. Cable TV had around 70 channels and they were clear. Wi-Fi was hopeless as it was hard to even get access. Gates close at night, but one gate could be opened by using a supplied code. As choice is limited in this city, we would probably use this park again if in the area. We camped at Kamloops RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park is not very big. It is mostly gravel in the sites but has a few nice sized grassy places to walk a dog. They have a big notice just before you enter "all dogs must be leashed" but as with all other parks we have been in, in Canada they do not enforce it.

We have had at least two power outages since we have been here. The last one appears to have taken out our Cable TV switch. We can still get cable, but it's grainy and with NO analog TV broadcast in Canada and I was unable to view my DirectTV in Canada because US service providers of DirectTV are legally prohibited from transmitting the DIRECTV signal outside the United States. So we are without video but can still get audio for weather, news, etc. So, beware of power outages, you could be at risk. This will most likely cost us a pretty sum to repair. Let me also mention we have super surge protectors on our coach and yet still.

The showers and bathrooms are nice and clean but the residents leave the door propped open. This morning I guess I found out why: it was so hot in there I could barely breathe. I showered and got right out and back to our RV to finish up my hygiene routine.

There are two washers and two dryers. The machines do not state on them, but I found out the washers are 35 minutes long, and the dryers are up to an hour. They take $2.00 (Loonies) each. I didn't have any Canadian money and the office would not let me charge the $16.00 I needed for the machines so I ended up giving them $20.00 USA so I lost money in the deal. Shame on me.

When we pulled in we were assigned site number 8 but when we put the jacks down the front tires were way up in the air. We tried several times pulling forward and back to get in a place in the site that where the wheels were not off the ground and we could not. The park reassigned us to site number 3 which is more level and not on the slope up row of the park. VERY close together.

The first day the Wi-Fi was almost non- existent. The park office said it had been that way for a few days. Today, however it is very strong and stable. Good thing I guess since we have no TV. :-) We camped at Kamloops RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We drove up to Banff and Lake Louise in a rental car. It was an amazing drive. Gorgeous scenery. I highly recommend the drive. We stayed overnight in a motel. It's 5.25 hours each way and winding mountain roads.

Very small sites, said we had a pull thru but we could barely park our 36' motorhome on the site, let alone the tow vehicle. No real grass, very dusty/dirty, couldn't put awning out as it would have touched the neighbours RV. Not what we had hoped for, for that price. We camped at Kamloops RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ditto on everything posted by other reviewers; however, trains are even worse than described. Not only can you hear them all night long, but you can feel them as well. Camped near the office. WiFi worked very well. Laundry was clean with two washers and two dryers. This campground is OK for an overnight, but next time we will look for another campground with less noise. We camped at Kamloops RV Park in a Motorhome.

Free solid WiFi, free cable (not so good). Gravel pull thrus and backins, a little bit of grass. Good utilities and very helpfull friendly staff. Downside: lots of noise off the highway and the trains.... This park is definitely overpriced but good for a night or two. Be sure to visit the Wildlife Park - within walking distance, all rescued animals. We camped at Kamloops RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The site was long enough for our 45' plus Jeep but very narrow for 4 slides. We were right up against the picnic tables on both sides. Roads are wide and sites are level. Good 50 amps. It would get a higher rating if there were grass on the lots. There is only weeds and they desperately need to be cut down. Good location for visiting Kamloops. We did not use any of their facilities nor did we visit the wildlife park. We camped at Kamloops RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sites are level but rather close. Our neighbors awning almost touches our window awning. Road and train noise but did not notice either at night. Close to city and shopping. We camped at Kamloops RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park staff were friendly and helpful though the office closed at four in the afternoon, so get your ice early if you need it. A fairly well designed park that makes good use of all available space, we had a pull through site which was angled nicely to allow an easy entry into the site. My only complaint is that the sites are oriented so that you get the afternoon sun on the side of the trailer where the awning is, which makes it very hot. Sites were pretty level, only requiring a couple of fence boards on one side. All the roads and sites are gravel, so expect some dust. The mainlines for CP and CN Rail are right across the highway, but I only heard them a couple of times so was not an issue. Having the zoo next door was great as the grandson really enjoyed it. Overall, enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. We camped at Kamloops RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park. Right off the Hwy 5. Easy egress to and from Hwy. Sites are adequate in size for a 40' MH. Cable, WiFi and tower are well placed. Gravel roadway and site locations. Best part is the next door neighbor to the RV Park is an Exotic Wildlife Park. A must go to. The Hwy noise isn't bad. We just stayed there one night. We camped at Kamloops RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a good close to highway park, easy on, easy off. As has been noted, the sites and most of the roads are gravel, but they were smooth. The office staff were pleasant when we made the reservation and when we checked in. The rate shown is with a Good Sam discount. There is both highway and railway noise, but it wasn't bad enough to keep us awake. The Wi-Fi is one of the best we have encountered. We stopped here for two nights on our way to Jasper National Park (NP). Kamloops is a big town with plenty of shopping so it's a great place to stock up at after crossing the border. We camped at Kamloops RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very casual. Nothing flash but all facilities worked. Negative is that there is a rail track a few hundred meters away, and trains seemed to run all night. We all seemed to sleep through it though. Everybody at this site were very friendly. We camped at Kamloops RV Park in a Motorhome.

The campsite was clean and the staff friendly, but the sites were very narrow. When I put my awning out, I was 1 foot away from the next trailer. The picnic table was in front of our door, but when the next trailer went to the side of theirs, they almost had to step on the seat of the picnic table and there was no fire pit. There was a railway track across the highway, and for some reason we heard it as if we were next to us and we also felt the vibration every time one passed. We would not come here again. We camped at Kamloops RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Rate is for pull through. Sites are very narrow. Park is well kept except the grass in doggie area is not cut. A little pricey but convenient. Internet from site 9 was strong. Friendly staff. Above average but not great campground. We camped at Kamloops RV Park in a Motorhome.
