Towing a 40' fifth wheel trailer, we had been assigned to site #69 and upon inspection found it to be big enough to take our rig and truck. This is an older campground with a variety of different sized sites so make sure you emphasize the size of your MH or trailer. Getting in to #69 wasn't the easiest of manoeuvres but after a couple of minutes we managed it. Although, because of the road layout, it did call for some quite sharp turning and a little bit of shunting back and forth. Not sure how easy that would have been if the pull through sites opposite been occupied. Our site had sewer, water, 30 & 50 amp power that all worked as required. The only thing I wish I had known when I made the reservation a few days earlier was that there was a 'boil water advisory' in affect. This necessitated us having to go back out and buy some bottled water for drinking and running through the coffee maker. The sites are spaced apart quite well and all appear to have mature trees and shrubs between, providing a sense of privacy. The sites come in all manner of lengths and widths but are all gravel based and include a fire pit and picnic table with bench seats. Some sites appear more level than others but #69 was nicely level for us. We had selected a river view site. What I didn't realize was that the river was about 80' below us down a pretty steep, almost sheer drop. If you are coming here with younger children you will need to be extra vigilant while they play outside. We noticed that many of the other sites in other parts of the campground also had very steep drop-offs at the back of the sites so be very cautious selecting a site. The bathrooms are a little dated but serviceable. We chose to use our own on-board facilities instead of the campground showers though. Being very early in the spring it was also very quiet with the only noise being either the river or the birds. Wi-fi is very limited. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Britners Fish 'n' chips in Kimberley for the best authentic taste outside of the UK - and I'm from there so speak with authority on the subject. Also try their mushy peas - another authentic flavour.

We thought the campground was well laid out though a few steepish hills may deter some.

Staff extremely helpful and professional.

Added attraction for us of a few deer wandering through.

Washrooms were in the process of being renovated but very clean, and unlike a lot of sites nowadays did not charge for the showers

As the campground is around 7 or 8kms out of town would suggest you do any shopping first if you only have a motorhome as transport.

We just stayed the one night but would definitely go again. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here on our way home from an Alaskan Caravan trip. We were lucky to find a campground on the Friday of Labor Day Weekend. This campground was heavily treed with dirt roads and dirt sites. Wifi only available at office or restrooms (we went to a pub in the town of Kimberley and got great free wifi). The office staff were very nice and informative about the area. Kimberley is a nice little town with a great produce stand and a couple of restaurants and bars. There are deer walking throughout the town and the campground. We would have liked to stay a few more days and explore the area but there were no sites available for the rest of the weekend. We would stay here again if ever in the area. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Great produce market in Kimberley. Also try Sullivan's pub in town - cold beer, good pub food and free fast wifi.

This is a large campground. We stayed down at the bottom in the Riverside section. The site was OK but not over the top. Reasonably level. Infrastructure is showing some wear and the place needs a little TLC. No wifi at the sites. The rivers were closed to fishing while we were there, but the access to the river is great. The staff was wonderful. I would go back if I was visiting the area, but it's not the nicest campground I have stayed at. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Motorhome.

Park is rustic. All the spaces are set in the woods, with some backing up to the river below. Sites are well spaced, with lots of trees and are generally long enough to handle any kind of rig. Most of the roads are paved and the sites are gravel. The roads are narrow and you do have to be very mindful of the trees both when turning and getting into and out of the space. We needed to cut some branches as they would impact our roof, and some bushes that hit our slide when opened. Our site did not require much leveling and amazingly was able to receive a satellite signal due to the positioning of the space. Very nice park, but they do need to keep up with the trees and bushes. Wi-Fi is free but does not make it to the sites so you have to go to the restrooms, where the access points are, to access the Internet. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a river view site and stayed for 2 nights. The sites are well laid out and there's enough room between them to make you feel comfortable. There was both 30 and 50 amp power as well as water and sewer. Cell coverage was spotty but they do have some Wi-Fi hot spots in the campground if you need connectivity. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Sadly, we only had one night here, but we'll be back again! Great rustic sites with full hooks up available. Lots of families, a mini golf type course and a pool. We didn't get to use all of the amenities in our overnight, but it was a great bang for your buck! Sites were easy to get into, lots of options to choose from and peace and quiet at night. Staff in the office were quick with check ins and helpful with local info. We're already planning our return trip for next year! This was a great stop for us and we can't wait to come back for a much longer stay. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful campground. Has very steep road down to the main campground, be sure to drive carefully because of the speed bumps. Big pull through sites on main camp, well maintained. Along the road down, there are also sites, but that must be terrible in summer. We were here at closing season. Access to the river must be fun in summer. We will come back. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Motorhome.

This is the best park after two months of travel! The sites have trees and are nicely spaced. It is kid friendly and safe. There is an upper and a lower level. We were in the upper level. The pool appeared clean and well maintained. Did not use the laundry or the showers. At night, the park quieted down. Loved this park. Stayed three nights. Gave it a 9 because of no on-site Wi-Fi. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very pleasant park and a great destination for families. River access restricted due to high water levels. No wi-fi at our site. Very few bugs. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Motorhome.

The only reason I gave this park a 9 instead of a 10 was the lack of control over the 'kid traffic' on the roads. I understand that there are going to be loads of children, and that's fine, but they were a little out of control. That being said, our stay there was thoroughly enjoyable. The sites were large and semi-private. There were plenty of deer all over the place. The bathrooms and showers were all clean and modern, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the Kimberly area. We have already booked there for a week next year. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This park is very nice. We camped there in a 5th wheel with 3 slides, and unfortunately due to the close proximity of a couple spruce trees we couldn't put out our awning. There are sites that would allow more space. I made a note of these for future use. As for WI-FI they have it, but it only works when you are around the office. The camp ground is in a valley, and the WI-FI will not work down there. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is some good hiking just adjacent to the park; however, I would recommend buying a map as there are many trails, and a person can get very lost/confused. There are very modern HE washers and dryers at the office. Washing was $3.00 per load and drying was $1.00 for 20 minutes. I would definitely stay there again. Located several miles outside Kimberley. Signage to campground limited and road to campground in poor state of repair. Limited area to park and register. Office staff friendly but not very efficient. Access roads to sites paved and well maintained. Our site was in the so called meadow area of the campground. Sites were gravel pull through with full hook-up. Sites were not totally level. The tree coverage varied between sites. Electricity(50amp) was solid and water pressure good. Limited ambiance. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Motorhome.

Excellent location with river view. Sites were private with trees and camp store sufficient. All services were available. Our first stop in an RV and made much easier by management and nearby campers. We would stay several days if visit the area again. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground. Beautiful scenery, lots of trees. Most of the sites have trees between them. Didn't use the pool but saw lots of people in it. I noted that washrooms weren't clean but for a campground that is in more of a natural setting like this I wouldn't expect much more. Wasn't that they were dirty but had cobwebs, could use a paint job etc. Will definitely go back again. Only reason it's not a 10 is the washrooms/showers. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
