This is a large park with all types of services. It is built as others have said on a hill. This requires a muiltilevel park which has been constructed in a somewhat haphazard fashion. The park was not busy when we were there but I imagine it would seem quite congested if all the sites were full. The WIFI only @ selected spots may be okay in the summer but is not good for a cool, wet fall. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a popular campground. When I made reservations months ago, I was lucky to get a site in the section I wanted. When we parked at the stop sign to check-in, two trucks with their trailers came awfully close to us when they diverted to the gravel parking area to our right. It would be better if all traffic for check-in parked in the gravel area - that's something for the park operators to consider. With the reservation, check-in was a breeze. Staff was courteous and helpful. The campground sites are accessed by a road that has plenty of speed bumps along the way. The road is also fairly steep and definitely a challenge for large rigs. Our site (#114) turned out to be better than expected. Park roads are paved (with the exception of one street) and all sites are gravel. Ours was a pull-through, long and level and included a table and fire pit. There were trees on both sides of the pad for privacy and even a bit of shade at times. One fairly weak signal on OTA TV and never bothered with satellite due to the trees. Washrooms, showers, phone, garbage and recycle were nearby, but laundry was back up the hill near the office. Wi-Fi was a hotspot near the washrooms at the end of our street. It was hit and miss. When there was less traffic, it was good enough to post pictures on Facebook and other times when there was more traffic, I would get bumped off or the speed was so slow it wasn't worth bothering with it anymore. There are several trails that lead down to the river or into the forest back up to the campground entrance. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a out in the woods campground with electricity and water. I loved it, but want people to know what they are getting into. The sites are close together and the road to the river is steep. Good place for children as there is a pool and mini golf, play ground and the river. Everything is far apart, so if I could make a reservation I would opt for a site either at the top near the pool and laundry and mini golf or near the bottom by the river and playground. This is not a place to let the kids run freely, cars going up and down the drive all the time. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Motorhome.

I guess, like in real estate, location is everything. This park is very large with three main sections and many subsections. Our site was on a corner, surrounded on three side by access roads, one being the main road through the campground. It required a fair bit of maneuvering to get into the site and level our large TT. The site was right across the road from the washrooms and wifi hotspot, which was very strong so we got a good signal to inside our trailer. Except for some tenting spots, there really isn't any river side sites. The campground is very hilly and terraced. The Pine Meadows section was the flattest and closest to the river and playground. Lots of kids there! If you are in the Mountain View or Sunflower Hill sections, it's a long hoof up and down the hill to the river. Most people in the upper sections drove down, which unfortunately, created a constant flow of traffic close to our trailer. We were on holidays which included eight campgrounds, but due to our location, it turned out to be our least favorite of the trip. I'm sure if our site was in another location, our opinion would be different. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Travel Trailer.

There is a great paved biking trail from Kimberley to Castlegar but no pathway from the campground to Kimberley. Kimberley is a small but very nice town with adequate services and good restaurants.

Stayed for 3 nights, a family of 4 staying in a tent. Facilities were immaculate and there was lots to do for families. They had a mini putt course that we received a voucher for, then we received our second game for half price. They had a small playground, free showers, laundromat and a beautiful (but busy) swimming pool that was amazing when it was 35 celcius out. It is out of town but everything you need is within a 10 minute drive. Campsites are well laid out and all have a fire-pit and picnic table. We didn't need a spot with services but according to the map many have power/water/sewer. The st marys river runs alongside the campsite and you can fly fish or river raft. It was very quiet and tranquil stay. We can't wait to go stay there again soon, already booked for next year but hope we can squeeze another visit in August. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Tent.

This park is south of Kimberley by 7km - 10 min drive. It is owned and operated by the Municipality of Kimberley. It is well run, the staff are friendly and the washrooms are well maintained. The park has three loops and even though we were in the bottom loop, which had a steep grade going down to it, the sites were quite accessible even with our 40' coach and car in tow. The hook ups are well placed. The park includes a pool which was a nice relief on hot days, a really nice mini golf course and access to the river. The park is quite popular, but was quiet in the evenings. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Motorhome.

This rv park is out in the country so you have to travel to Marysville or Kimberley for shopping and services. With a reservation our check-in was painless and we were directed to our site quickly. It is a large, secluded site at the end of a cul-de-sac with 30 amp power, water, sewer, picnic table, and firepit. It overlooks the St Mary River which is 50 feet below a steep bank. There is no tv or cell service but wifi is available down the road at the bathhouse. There is a nice shaded bench to sit on while you do your internet business. The clean bathhouse has several toilets and two showers (free) and two sinks. This park is built on the side of the mountain so there are many levels connected by a switch-back road. Our site was at the back of the lowest level. The office is at the entrance to the park. We stayed three nights and everything was fine but there were many mosquitoes. We would stay here again. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We spent one day at Fort Steele Historic Site which was a pleasant drive from our site. In Kimberley there is a visitor centre, library, museum, and many unique shops. The North Star Alpine Ski Resort is located above Kimberley. A section of the Cross Canada Trail called Rails to Trails Kimberley to Cranbrook with a wide, paved trail.

This has got to be one of the best parks we have stayed in with regards to space and layout. We stayed down along the river section, with a large clean lot and open enough to run our satellite dish without tree interference. The Manageress was very friendly and helpful. The Wifi is strong be located in certain spots, around the park, so you may have to walk to the hotspot to get connectivity. Rate is in Canadian dollars. There is a pool at the main office. The rate I paid was in Canadian $ so in U$ this would equate to $30. This is our second visit to Riverside CG this year only this time it was much busier. This time we had a Meadow view site but only 5 spaces down from where we stayed in the spring. As before, it was equipped with 30 & 50-amp power, water and sewer. Water had excellent pressure. The utilities here were located towards the front of the site and for our rig would have required certainly a sewer extension had we parked all the way back. The site was gravel with a picnic table and fire ring, nicely treed for privacy and wide enough for a rig with opposing slides. Wi-Fi is one available at certain hotspots through the park but when I connected it worked well. We could only get one OTA tv channel (CTV Lethbridge). Being the height of summer the place was swarming with kids later in the day and into the dark hours. Check-in was mixed. The younger girl was friendly and attentive, the older one appeared a little frosty. There is a pool and other facilities but we didn't use these. The bathrooms are clean but dated. We would certainly return here again as it is a good stop-off point for the US border just over an hour away at Eastpoint. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Towing a 40' fifth wheel trailer, we had been assigned to site #69 and upon inspection found it to be big enough to take our rig and truck. This is an older campground with a variety of different sized sites so make sure you emphasize the size of your MH or trailer. Getting in to #69 wasn't the easiest of manoeuvres but after a couple of minutes we managed it. Although, because of the road layout, it did call for some quite sharp turning and a little bit of shunting back and forth. Not sure how easy that would have been if the pull through sites opposite been occupied. Our site had sewer, water, 30 & 50 amp power that all worked as required. The only thing I wish I had known when I made the reservation a few days earlier was that there was a 'boil water advisory' in affect. This necessitated us having to go back out and buy some bottled water for drinking and running through the coffee maker. The sites are spaced apart quite well and all appear to have mature trees and shrubs between, providing a sense of privacy. The sites come in all manner of lengths and widths but are all gravel based and include a fire pit and picnic table with bench seats. Some sites appear more level than others but #69 was nicely level for us. We had selected a river view site. What I didn't realize was that the river was about 80' below us down a pretty steep, almost sheer drop. If you are coming here with younger children you will need to be extra vigilant while they play outside. We noticed that many of the other sites in other parts of the campground also had very steep drop-offs at the back of the sites so be very cautious selecting a site. The bathrooms are a little dated but serviceable. We chose to use our own on-board facilities instead of the campground showers though. Being very early in the spring it was also very quiet with the only noise being either the river or the birds. Wi-fi is very limited. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We thought the campground was well laid out though a few steepish hills may deter some.

Staff extremely helpful and professional.

Added attraction for us of a few deer wandering through.

Washrooms were in the process of being renovated but very clean, and unlike a lot of sites nowadays did not charge for the showers

As the campground is around 7 or 8kms out of town would suggest you do any shopping first if you only have a motorhome as transport.

We just stayed the one night but would definitely go again. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here on our way home from an Alaskan Caravan trip. We were lucky to find a campground on the Friday of Labor Day Weekend. This campground was heavily treed with dirt roads and dirt sites. Wifi only available at office or restrooms (we went to a pub in the town of Kimberley and got great free wifi). The office staff were very nice and informative about the area. Kimberley is a nice little town with a great produce stand and a couple of restaurants and bars. There are deer walking throughout the town and the campground. We would have liked to stay a few more days and explore the area but there were no sites available for the rest of the weekend. We would stay here again if ever in the area. This is a large campground. We stayed down at the bottom in the Riverside section. The site was OK but not over the top. Reasonably level. Infrastructure is showing some wear and the place needs a little TLC. No wifi at the sites. The rivers were closed to fishing while we were there, but the access to the river is great. The staff was wonderful. I would go back if I was visiting the area, but it's not the nicest campground I have stayed at. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Motorhome.

Park is rustic. All the spaces are set in the woods, with some backing up to the river below. Sites are well spaced, with lots of trees and are generally long enough to handle any kind of rig. Most of the roads are paved and the sites are gravel. The roads are narrow and you do have to be very mindful of the trees both when turning and getting into and out of the space. We needed to cut some branches as they would impact our roof, and some bushes that hit our slide when opened. Our site did not require much leveling and amazingly was able to receive a satellite signal due to the positioning of the space. Very nice park, but they do need to keep up with the trees and bushes. Wi-Fi is free but does not make it to the sites so you have to go to the restrooms, where the access points are, to access the Internet. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a river view site and stayed for 2 nights. The sites are well laid out and there's enough room between them to make you feel comfortable. There was both 30 and 50 amp power as well as water and sewer. Cell coverage was spotty but they do have some Wi-Fi hot spots in the campground if you need connectivity. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
