Very wooded site off the road with minimal road noise. Heard a train or two go by. Nice wide wooded site. The downfall was the mosquitoes were so bad it made hooking up the car without getting bit a bunch of times a chore. There is a really nice lake with a picnic area across the road from the park. We camped at Lac La Hache Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Nice PP across the highway from the lake. There is a walkway under the highway to cross to the lake. If you have a rig over 35' you will probably want to look at sites around the perimeter road as it is easier to navigate than the center roads. Mosquitoes abound (at least in May) so bring your repellent. Sites are nicely spaced and range in length from a car will barely fit to a large RV. We camped at Lac La Hache Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

This was a great overnight stop as we traveled from the north. The park is on a hillside and was almost empty so we could pick any site. We had an amazing view of the lake across the highway. Access to the beach was through a large conduit under the highway. The beach had a cook shelter and several picnic tables. Highway traffic noise was noticeable. We camped at Lac La Hache Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate includes dump station fee. We picked a site that was more open due to plenty of mosquitoes in the forested sites. Our site was not very level and needed a few boards for leveling. Nicely landscaped and plenty of room. Only negative was some noise from the highway when outside. The dump station self pay wasn't working so I had to pay the friendly camp host. There are a couple of trails that start from the campground. One leads to a day use area on the lake. It had some picnic tables and a small beach for swimming. We usually camp in full hookup sites, but occasionally "rough" it in one of the BC provincial parks. This one served its purpose and we would stay here again. We camped at Lac La Hache Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Just stayed one night. Park was pretty empty (mid week). For larger rigs you want to study the park map at entrance as they don't do a good job of marking the streets and you need to get properly lined up to back in (there are 2 -sort of - pull through). Some road noise from highway unless you stay in the lower numbers (east side). Nice layout though, and trees are well maintained around site pads and roads. We camped at Lac La Hache Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This BC Provincial Park is right on the highway. It is heavily treed, so no satellite is possible. The sites closest to the highway get a lot of traffic noise, but the sites back in the woods are very quiet. There are no hookups, but there is water to fill a tank at the dump station. As at all BC Provincial Parks, there is a $5.00 fee for dumping. When we were at this park, the device to pay to open the dump lock was broken, so no dumping was possible. The sites are nicely spaced apart, so fairly private. The park opens on May 15, so we were there for the first opening, and it was very empty. This campground is across the highway from the lake, so no lake feature. Our Verizon cell phone had a strong signal. This would not be a destination park for us, but it is fine for a one-night stop as you journey past. We camped at Lac La Hache Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Convenient location right off Hart Hwy. Heavily wooded sites, reasonable access for motorhomes to 34'. Stayed is site 18, interior roads are narrow. Camped here in 34' motorhome towing for 1 night on our way North. Campground takes reservations for some sites. Popular campground on week-ends and holidays, we were here mid-week. Probably would stay here again. We camped at Lac La Hache Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park in the woods. It is not on the lake side of the highway so the only sites that have views of the lake also are right next to the highway. Many mosquitoes while we were here in June, so bring your bug spray. Fresh water is available for fill at the dump station. Dump station costs $5 extra. Friendly park hosts! We camped at Lac La Hache Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is located a few miles north of town on the east side of the highway. Hardly anyone was here on June 1. The large lake is accessed across Hwy 97 as is the day use area. There is a dump station in the campground. The bottom two rows on this hillside park have lake views. There are flush toilets. This is a convenient stop while traveling through. We camped at Lac La Hache Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

No showers available. Sani dump fee $2 extra. Most sites shaded by Douglas firs. Only a few sites have a lake view. There is a trail(with a tunnel under the highway) to the day use area on the lake. We camped at Lac La Hache Provincial Park in a Motorhome.
