This is a very pretty location, right on the lake. They have boat rentals or if you bring your own boat, a launch ramp. The lady in the office is very friendly and efficient. We think the sites are a bit crowded but of course it is summer, the busy time. The cost is a bit on the high side and if you want Wi-Fi, that's extra; also the showers cost $1. All this being said I think we will return but not during the busy season. We camped at Loon Bay Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Staff very friendly, fishing is the theme here. Family friendly (play ground and swim area). Showers could be a bit bigger. I am average size and it was a bit tight in the shower. $1.00 charge for 5 minutes was nice and plenty of time for the shower. We camped at Loon Bay Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Most of the campsites are on the lake and the setting is absolutely gorgeous! Excellent boat docks, playground for children, beach, clear clean water, good fishing, and friendly staff. Saturday farmer's market on site with fresh bread ++. Local groceries available across the street. Better access to Internet would be appreciated. We camped at Loon Bay Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Gravel driveways, not so level sites all on gravel and dirt, long enough but some are really narrow, we didn't fit on the assigned site and had to change, 10 pull throughs, water with enough pressure, 30 amp power, sewer, no cable TV, WiFi by a separate company, I didn't pay and didn't use ($5/day). Nice setup but not very well groomed along the shores of Sheridan Lake and also among trees, I didn't try the satellite but it should work on some sites. Hookups are dated but working. Washrooms need a MAJOR update. Showers are coin op but too small, not enough hooks, no shelve, no door, just curtains. Setup goes back several dozens of years! Laundry has toploaders only. Staff is very friendly and very helpful. If you are a fisherman and are not asking for much more, this is for you. I might try another Park if again in the area. We camped at Loon Bay Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This RV park is in a lovely setting. The park itself is not very groomed or particularly polished but it would be hard to beat the location: right on Sheridan Lake in beautiful British Columbia! We found the office folks to be very pleasant and helpful. We had site #47, which is a pull in (not back in) site on the waterfront, at the end of the row of sites. Consequently, it was very private and quite spacious. They do have Internet access but you need to ask about it when you check in. We would stay here again. We camped at Loon Bay Resort in a Motorhome.

Beautiful, well maintained small RV park. Well off the major roads. Lake was still frozen over when we visited in early May, so could not make use of the paddling opportunity. We camped at Loon Bay Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is an excellent park. All sites have a lake view and more than half the sites are right on the waterfront. Clean well looked after park. Very clean washrooms, showers and laundry facilities. Some cabins also available. Moorage for your own boat, (about $2 a day) or boat rentals also available. We visited here for the 1st time in 2004, returned this year and have already reserved for next year. We camped at Loon Bay Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
