This is a nice provincial park located off the highway with the train tracks in the distance. This rate is a senior rate after Labour Day. Our site was large and away from other sites which was good on this hot day (32C) with little shade. The site had been groomed and was clean. The manager who came to collect our fee was pleasant. We would stay here again. We camped at Skihist Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.

Simply amazing views of the Thompson River canyon and surrounding mountains. There are several hiking trails at the campsite, and some interesting history as the Cariboo Wagon Road can be accessed from here. Really big rigs could have an interesting time getting in here as the access road from Highway 1 is steep and winding in sections. The sites themselves are quite spacious with lots of room between them. We camped at Skihist Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is another great BC Provincial Park with very easy access from Highway 1, the Trans-Canada highway. It is set back a bit from the highway, so traffic noise is not bad, particularly if you choose a site farther back in the park. It is nice and dark at night, which we love. There are no hookups, but there are water taps at the dump station (on your left as you come into the park) and throughout the campground. The taps do have threads, so you can fill your tank. The dump station use is an extra $5.00, pretty much on the honor system. Although the campground is fairly heavily wooded, we were able to find a site with satellite access. Our Verizon phone had no signal. The campground was immaculate, the sites were all raked and the fire pits were clean. There did not seem to be any firewood for sale when we were there, but it looks like there are bins were firewood may be kept at times. There are trails, which we did not check out. There is a nice picnic area across the road with views of the Frasier River. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Skihist Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful wooded provincial park overlooking the Fraser Canyon. Long sites, tho not so level as it sits on a mountainside. Dry camping, tho water taps in the park. Sanitary dump listed, tho we didn't try it and don't really know if they have one. We camped at Skihist Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A terrific park right off the highway about five miles north of Lytton. Almost all sites are back-ins, with a few small pull-out sites. Lots of pine trees. In Site 31 we had both shade and access to the Dish Network satellite. Most of the sites are large and level enough for the largest RVs. There are trails of varying degrees of challenge in the park. The dump station fee is not included in the $17CN camping fee. It costs $2 and requires either a Toonie or two Loonies. We had no Canadian coins left, so we had to skip dumping.
