2 RV Parks near McBride, British Columbia
Aug 2017 - $38.00
Based on the occupancy for the night we were there, this appears to be a popular park. I don't understand why, as it doesn't offer anything special. Sites are on grass, VERY close together and not level from side to side. Each site has a picnic table. IMHO site # 39 is the best as there are no other sites on the door side of your RV. Other good sites would be around the perimeter, though I think they are unserviced or 15 amp (inquire). There are 2 washers & 2 dryers. A 30 amp electric & water pull-through is $38 (no discounts are offered). There is a dump station as you exit. You can add this RV park to the long list of campgrounds that advertize hi-speed internet, but deliver slow and unreliable WiFi. Okay for an overnight. - driftdiver1

Clean park with little highway noise. Good wi-fi, friendly hosts, grass parking area, pull through sites a bit tight. Would stay here again. - Alaskamike
Jul 2015 - $30.00
Stayed here 2 nights. Originally assigned site 10 at perimeter of open area backing onto trees with Fraser River behind. No real view of anything due to trees.
Second day we looked at "treed" sites - backed right onto river with view of river and mountains. Sunnier too!
Most sites in open area (all grass) are level and/or slightly sloped; however treed sites are level side-to-side. And private.
Only power and water sites - sani-dump on the way out. We had 15 amp both sites, but treed sites (30->) have utilities at entrance to site, so you need 50' elec and hose.
We would definitely stay here again. - DCM/JMB

Fairly new park, but in disrepair. It started out with the lady in the office not wanting to accept my USA credit card (Visa). When I suggested cash she didn't want to give me the going currency exchange rate. So after Googling a currency converter I showed her the proper rate and she still argued with me, thinking I was trying to rip her off! WOW! I believe a young couple owns this park and it could be so nice. Some sites had only 30 amp, others had 50 amp but no water. Not sure why they couldn't get fhu to all sites. Some noise from the highway, but not real bad. Level, decent-sized gravel sites. I really wanted to like this park and it was just OK. Would I stay here again? Sure...just would remember to bring Canadian currency. - slabman
Aug 2012 - $42.00
Could be a nice park. Cable TV does not work. They run a dump truck through the park at very high rates of speed which creates dust. Dangerous situation with some kids riding bikes around the park. Only value is 50amp hookups when its hot out. - 4wheeling

The sites include 15 Chalets and 25 RV sites. The sites have power, water and sewer for the pull-through sites, but I'm not sure about the back in sites. The general appearance of the park made it seem that they were not ready for the season to begin. Power and water was not available to all sites and the site we had was a 30A outlet not the 20A or 50A advertised. Used equipment littered the site and the park seemed quite in need of maintenance for such a new park. The Chalets seemed to be in a similar state from part of our group that stayed in them. The previous reviewer indicated Wi-Fi. We did not have our computer so I'm not sure if it was provided. The web site does not mention it. This park could be a great place to overnight with a little effort. Now it is only adequate for an overnight stop. (The golf course and RV park next door is in a similar state.) - lrp374
