Nice campground a bit outside of Merritt. The paved road to Monck is pretty bumpy on the way in, the way out to Merritt is much better. Well laid out campground with some space between sites. Quite a few sites suitable for bigger rigs. Roads inside the campground are paved, the sites are gravel. Level was good. Very quiet day and night. Dump (5$ fee) inside the campground. One nice loop trail takes you up to some nice viewpoints over Nicola Lake. Washrooms have flush toilets but no showers. Large grassy beach area with lots of picnic tables. I assume it can be busy here during the summer holidays. We'll be back. We camped at Monck Provincial Park in a Truck Camper.Undo

Sites vary in size but the largest ones can easily accommodate the large rigs and boats. The sites are hard packed gravel, fairly level, with excellent quality picnic tables and fire rings. There are no RV facilities at the sites (power, water, sewer) but they do have a number of potable water taps throughout the park and 1 sani station that you can use for $5 (free Sani-station at the Canadian Tire in town about 10 minutes away). There are no shower facilities so for the tenters take note. The washrooms are typical park washrooms. It does get very dusty which gets into everything. The wind really picks up at night so bring those awnings in. All in all, a very good provincial park with spacious RV sites. Easy access to a sandy beach and large playing field. Would come back again if in the area. We camped at Monck Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Park is very beautiful, set on Nicola Lake. Staff was very friendly and helpful, even getting us firewood after the store was closed. Lake was a little cold which made swimming interesting. Wind came up a couple nights, so pulled the awning in just to be safe. Day use area was amazing, with grass and sand on the beach. This park is highly recommended. This campground is well worth the 20 km drive from Merritt. It is beautifully situated on Monck Lake with well-spaced treed sites. It's clean and very quiet. This campground makes an excellent night's stopover when traveling the Coquihalla between the Vancouver area and Kamloops. We camped at Monck Provincial Park in a Truck Camper.Undo

No showers available. Sani dump in park. Situated in a pine forest above Nicola Lake. Some tree removal due to recent bug kill. Registration office limited hours. Some supplies available in office. Nice beach nearby at the day use section of park. We camped at Monck Provincial Park in a Motorhome.Undo
