We like to stay here because it is quiet, has nice walking trails for the dog. To the owners though, Someone should fill in the POTHOLES, not good for our truck or 5th Wheel. Other than that we are happy. - Ben/Win

The lot was gravel and not very level. To access the lots must drive thru very close trees and narrow road. Stayed in space 51 which opened to large field. Able to get satellite and cell service. Wifi is NOT available in the park. W and E only. Dump station available. - Coy R

Lovely view in a nice level site (#53). We were able to get our satellite dish, mounted on our roof, to work from this site (Direct TV). Also got Verizon cell phone service. Site was spacious with our two slide outs. There were no mesquitos that we saw. Would recommend this to any one traveling in this area. This price reflects US dollars. - kemosabe

This is a fairly typical municipal campground with side-by-sides and having little privacy. As their website says, the campground is located next to Kicking Horse River, which is a pleasant place to sit and contemplate the milky water as it flows by. However, their ad does not mention that on the other side of the river are train tracks, on which trains run throughout the night - bring earplugs. All sites have a picnic table and fire pit, and firewood($) is available at their small store. Electric and water connections require 60 feet of hose/cord. Hot showers are $1/6 min. There is free WiFi, but it is extremely slow. - driftdiver1

Sites were a little small but very nice campground!! - Chezanne1982
Aug 2012 - $34.00
Gravel sites, very crowded, very busy, no TV(0) channels, Wi-Fi at office only. Two bathhouses, one old and really bad, one good but a far walk. Some hookups require a 50 foot hose, electric the same way. An international flavor at this park, people from everywhere. - mjtesky

We were greeted by an upset unprofessional manager because we arrived 45 minutes before check in time of 1pm. We looked at our assigned site and found trash and basically a spot in the dirt. They advertise 50 amp but only have 30 amp electric.
Because of the way we were treated and the overall run down condition of the park, for the first time since we started RVing, we asked for our deposit back and left for another park in the area. - 5rhauler

So much to dislike and we were there 7 nights. Very old park which has been neglected for a long time. The good: excellent WiFi, easy in/out, new laundry equipment. The bad: site was mostly dirt. No gravel for years. Door opened to a tree a foot away. Park is 100 feet from Canada's Highway 1, main east/west route across Canada. Park is on a grade of the highway: eastbound 18 wheelers in low gear at max RPM; westbound trucks are on their exhaust brakes 24x7. Noisiest park I have stayed in.
Showers/washrooms are very old, not very clean.
Should be considered a desperation one night only park.
Park apparently has only 2 employees; one is friendly, the other should find another line of work. - mmaill01

A small herd of goats roamed around the park for some time.
Lots of trees, surrounded by mountains, excellent wifi
Staff went way above expectations. - absnowbird
Jul 2016 - $26.00
Secluded spot for RVers who like to get in a round of golf, if it doesn't rain. Beautiful golf course and clean, easy to navigate RV park. Quiet and level gravel sites with lots of shade. Verizon signal ok. $26 nightly rate is CAD.
There are two narrow bridges on the road up to the facility, Class A's might want to scope out ahead of time. - AGalinAZ

We unexpectedly found ourselves looking for a place to stay quite late in the day. Everything in Golden was full so we headed for Revelstoke. About 30 minutes west of Golden we came upon Campers Haven. We were given their last open site. 30 Amp and water but no sewer. All sites are very accessible long pull thrus. We didn't have to disconnect our Towed. Service was very friendly. Park was clean and well laid out. We spent a quiet night there. A great place to overnight. The closest place for groceries and fuel is Golden so make sure you are stocked up before you arrive. We will stop by again. - BC Wanderer
Aug 2016 - $35.00
Upon arriving at the park, you immediately notice the many flowers surrounding the easily found office. The park is very big rig friendly with large grassy pull-thrus, 30amp, good water pressure, two person picnic tables, gravel roads and fire ring. You will hear trains in the distance as well as coyotes. Will return for the quiet and spacious sites. - RJourney
Jul 2016 - $35.00
Very nice campground. Large pull-through sites. Hosts very accommodating. - Cake on the beach
Jul 2015 - $28.00
Beautiful views, meadow area very open - any size rig would be comfortable. Lots of sites for larger rigs on each loop. - jandjmichael
Jun 2015 - $1.00
There was a fast raging river right next to the site which was probably dangerous but neat to listen to. The campground is rustic yet pretty. The restrooms were not very clean and overused. There were a lot of folks from Europe at this campground in rented RV's. I didn't find them to be very friendly and they had very different attitudes about bathroom etiquette and cleanliness. Not a lot of following the "Golden Rule" going on at Kicking Horse. We were smoked like sausages by the folks in the rented RV in the site next to us. The campground filled so we couldn't move, and they wouldn't stop burning smokey wet wood. Cough! - barkingbear

If you can go without hookups for a few nights, the mountain views surrounding this park are astounding! The roads are paved, and the sites are spacious and fairly level. Fortunately, we didn't have much shade, because it would have blocked the views. Lots of points off in my scoring system for no hookups, Wi-Fi or laundry, but it was well worth it to be close to the mountains. Bathrooms and showers were nice and clean even if they did look a bit worn. Price seemed a reasonable value for such a nice spot, even without hookups. We'd love to stay here again! - DaveInOhio
