The campsites are spread across a hillside, so there are retaining walls, etc. Each site is paved (pavers) or gravel with a patch of grass and some little trees that separate each site. (The online photos are a few years old -- the separator trees are all 8 to 10 feet tall now.) The park is attractive, well maintained, with a pleasant staff. It is located well off the main road. My one real complaint is that the person who checked me in did not warn me that the showers required putting (Canadian!!) quarters into a meter to get water. This lack of warning is particularly annoying as we discussed locating our campsite near the showers and I even commented that the shower in our tiny van-camper was not very satisfactory. Folks, this is a border town and we were spending our last night in Canada. I had gotten rid of almost all the Canadian coins I'd had. (Only 2 dimes left.) It was a shock to discover that an additional payment was required - downgrade from "good" to "average" for this. (Such fees/meters are common in areas with tight water supplies and otherwise don't bother me.) We camped at Island View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

RV Park had "private" beach across the street in front of the park. Trail along the shore runs from town to a public park near the end of the road.

This is mostly a ownership park and they rent out the sites that are available. We were given a "large" site for our 38' MH but we just barely fit, so not sure how anything longer would get in here. Roads are very narrow as well (took more time to back into a slot than most public parks with lots of trees). Our utilities are also on the wrong side (would have been better to pull in but roads are marked one way). Sites are mostly concrete pads, few have a bit of grass.

Wi-fi does not work well at all, most of the time you cannot get connected to the service provider to get authorized and when you do it is very very slow. Nice private beach area, and the park is quiet but there seems to be a lot of smokers here and they smoke outside. Utilities work well and park is very clean. We camped at Island View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Real resort. Big rig friendly. Cement pads with cement patio and small piece of grass. WiFi wasn't working when we there but they are working on getting a good system installed. Lots are owned and rented out. Snowbirds are starting to stay here for the winter We camped at Island View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We know it was the off season but they stated they were open; when we arrived we had to self park because the office was not open, not a big deal. All sites have a view of the lake. We really can't comment on the store or the beach because neither was open. However, the park was very tidy and it was great for an overnight stay. We would stay again if in the area. We camped at Island View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The park provides backup in sites on different levels up a hill. The higher up you are, the better the view over the lake and towards Osoyoos. The sites provide everything you need, pad is concrete, parking for tow too, some have a little bit grass. The wireless was reliable and fast, after a few drops everything worked fine. The cost is Can$ 30 up to 34 feet long in the off season, add Can$ 5 if longer. The washrooms were clean, not super clean, showers are coin op. Nothing for pets or even children. Unfortunately, most of the time the office was closed and to pay for an additional night took me several runs to the office during the hole day. Obviously, that is what you get in the off season. I would return if again in the area. We camped at Island View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This RV resort has sites that are owned but rented out due to town by-laws. Owners must rent out a certain number of weeks per year. Each pet costs an extra 5 dollars. We stayed at site #93 which has an excellent view of Osoyoos and the lake. This resort is an example of you pay for what your get. It is expensive but it is an excellent place to stay. It does not have a pet area. Across the road is access to a beach area of Osoyoos lake. We had cable TV, electric, water and sewer. The sites are cement covered. It is a 25 minute walk down town. There is a bike repair shop downtown if you get a flat etc, next to Tim Hortons. Luxury Rving at its best. We camped at Island View RV Resort in a Motorhome.
