This is a campground constructed adjacent to the local fish hatchery. It is in old growth forest and the large trees and narrow roads make for interesting access to your site. We were able to select from several available and our access was easy. RV sites only have water and 30A power. A sani-station is provided and is free to use. The showers and laundry provided were very clean and tidy. The power fluctuated from 120V to a low of 105V just with the use of a microwave. I don't think an air conditioner would work. ( I'm not sure who would use one in Port Hardy?) WIFI is available and actually worked quite well at our site. They do have chairs near the office if you have a site bothered by trees. They offer a seniors discount. The managers are very helpful and can offer many ways to spend time in the Port Hardy area. We would certainly stay again if in the area. We camped at Quatse River Regional Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful spot on the Quatse river near town. Treed and shady staff with privacy. Friendly staff and well maintained grounds. Profit supports the salmon hatchery next door. We camped at Quatse River Regional Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a really pretty campground with lots of trees and shade. The spaces had privacy and were not too close together. The restrooms were clean, and there is a small store on site. I would recommend this campground to anyone going to Port Hardy, as it's really nice. We camped at Quatse River Regional Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Lovely park in old growth forest with a nature trail. Spotless heated washrooms with clean, hot showers. Privacy in sites separated by vegetation. Very welcoming couple manages park. Revenue generated by campground supports adjacent Quatse Salmon Stewardship Centre. Tours are available. Ferry access road is 2.3km. We camped at Quatse River Regional Park and Campground in a Motorhome.
