I didn't know that Prince George had a zoo. Dogs running loose, doing their business wherever they please with no owners in sight, families walking through your site. In the sites around ours, there were a minimum of two and usually three vehicles parked at each site - party time! There is a pool, a laundry ($3 wash, $0.25/ 5 min dry), and unreliable WiFi. Supposedly 53 sites have cable TV, but neither their web site nor staff could identify which sites had cable. Highway traffic noise is constant throughout the night. When I called to make a reservation the woman could not guarantee a 30 amp full service pull-through site, rather just that I would have a site - that should have been my first clue. When I arrived, I was assigned a full service back-in site that was suitable only for a small class B or pop-up, not a 33-foot fifth wheel. Next I was assigned an electric-water site. When I asked for a refund of the difference between the price for an EW versus a full service site, I was told there was no difference in price. So, back-in, pull-through, full service, or electric & water, cable or no cable are all the same price - to quote Shakespeare: "something is rotten in the state of Denmark". Oh, I forgot to mention the one positive of this campground. It is the closest RV park to the major shopping places in Prince George (Costco, Superstore, Home Depot, etc.). We camped at Blue Cedars RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Blue Cedars is a pretty park for BC. We were there with an RV caravan so do not know what the rate was. The man in the office was rude to my husband (and several other people). They had double booked another caravan during our stay and I'm sure that caused him some grief. The power was our chief complaint. It was supposed to be 30 amp, but we couldn't even make coffee without the generator. When we left the power plugged in, it kept going on and off. It wouldn't even run fans. Our site was barely long enough for our 30 foot MH with the car in the road. We camped at Blue Cedars RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The town seemed nice, but an RCMP who was staying in the park told us that St. George is a high crime area so we should be sure to keep things locked up.

Gave it one star because you can't give it none. I read the reviews about this place but it was late and it was very close so we took a chance. Everything you read is true. Nasty cranky grouchy miserable old man in office, smelly mold filled restrooms and showers, trash, debris, dog poop and weed filled over grown grounds. Wi-Fi is useless, no cable or local stations. Pool hasn't been used in years and it's nothing more than another place to stash trash and old tires. Small area behind office for full-time residents also filled with debris. Porta potty in the tent area! Do yourself a favor pass this one up. We camped at Blue Cedars RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Price listed is USD for a water and 30 amp electric pull through. We stayed here three years ago and were a bit hesitant to return given the 2016 reviews. The reception staff was friendly and helpful, and the WiFi is some of the best we have had since leaving Texas almost two weeks ago. Internet is slowing down in the evening, but connection is constant! Great place to stay a few days and use the web to plan the northbound offline days on the Cassiar! Costco and big groceries nearby. Roads and sites are gravel and fairly level (only 2x4s needed on one side to level our rig). Didn't try the Pool, but laundry was 3 loonies per wash, and dryer was .25 for 5 minutes. Bathrooms are clean and rustic, which is OK for the AK Hwy! Some road noise, but didn't bother us. We will certainly stay here again! We camped at Blue Cedars RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We arrived around 5pm without a reservation and were told they could find us a space. Our site was located around the back of the office in a section with many full time people living in smaller RVs. It also looked like an overflo storage area with lots of parked maintenance machinery. The roadway and site was quite muddy. We just stayed the night and left early in the morning. We camped at Blue Cedars RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

If your looking for a friendly check in or anything else at this park, Stay Elsewhere. A rude camp host/manager. The campsite had trash in the fire pit, the bathrooms were like dungeons from the 1970's. I saw nothing desirable about this place at all. Reading some of the reviews about small sites, I had to keep making sure that I was still reading about Blue Cedars - my pull-through, #21, is one of the larger sites I've had at a commercial RV park. There's plenty of trees to keep cool, though some of those can make maneuvering a large rig a bit challenging (with toad, I'm 51 feet). Lots of grass, and lots of places to walk my dogs. Close to town for shopping and even a casino. We camped at Blue Cedars RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

We were also checked in by the grumpy guy who was not at all friendly or helpful. I agree that the sites are really close to the neighbors - we had to close our windows and put on our fans to keep out the smoke from the campfire right outside our window. There is no one checking on the noise levels, we had to complain about constantly barking dogs. It was also difficult to get in and out of our site because of the trees which are poorly placed and at least need some trimming. Would not stay here again. Laundry was older & overpriced. Everything looks like it needs some attention and updating. We camped at Blue Cedars RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Had oil change at Ford Dealership in PG which was really convenient. All the major auto dealers are in town along with Costco, Wal-mart, etc.

Stayed here one night. Arrived in pouring rain! Park has fairly level sites - we had a pull-thru so did not disconnect.

Okay park but nothing to write home about.

Sites are very narrow, some with trees/stumps at entrance/exit of sites.

We had to back out of our pull-thru site, not because neighbor had parked his truck across his site, but because even without his vehicle in the way, there was a tree stump that our trailer wheels would have come in contact with. No thanks!

We would stay here again but not perhaps for an extended period. We camped at Blue Cedars RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Good sized sites, lots of dog-walking areas inside and outside the park, great location close to PG for shopping and restaurants. This park also has the best Internet connection we've ever come across in an RV park - full signal and high speed, all for free! There are lots of trees, which is lovely for shade and privacy. If you have a satellite dish, ask for a site with a few less branches - we did, and had no difficulty acquiring a signal. However, there is cable if that doesn't work for you. If I have anything negative to say about this park, it would be the narrow roads through the resort. We found it awkward and problematic to make the corners without backing up as we left our site. There was no possible way we could have done it if we'd connected our tow vehicle prior to pulling out. We hooked up outside the park. We'd stay here again. We camped at Blue Cedars RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Gentleman in office was curt and unfriendly. We were crammed in like sardines. The site was so narrow that if we had put out our awning, it would simply have kept the neighbour's sewer hose dry. It appears that very little money has been spent on maintenance in a long time. We were there for 4 nights over the Labour Day weekend. There were rigs coming and going all weekend but we never saw any park employees checking on sites before or after they were occupied. Garbage that was left in sites simply stayed there. The roadways were uneven and pot-holed. It rained most of the weekend and there were rivers of mud running through the place. We did have full hookups - water, power, sewer, and cable. The Wi-Fi worked well but we would never stay here again. We camped at Blue Cedars RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
