This is definitely a work in progress. The sites were level with good hook ups and nice greenery between spacious sites. The wifi worked great and the host was wonderful. You really need to be self contained to stay here, because there are no restrooms, just a few port a potties. It is a beautiful park like setting. We camped at MamaYeh RV Park in a Motorhome.

New owners developing the park. A great start. Wooded privacy between long and wide sites. Utilities worked well. It is on a well and the water has iron in it. Upgrading wi-fi. No cable. We camped at MamaYeh RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This RV Park is owned by one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. Over the last 10 years he has been building this RV park by himself. It is very well thought out but there is still work to be done. The roads are not paved and when we were there it was very muddy from the spring rains. The owner was out there with his back hoe, trying to grade the surfaces, but it was a bit of a hopeless cause. There is no office, but you will be greeted by the small RV at the entrance with instructions for drive ups. If you call ahead, he will text you all kinds of information. Hookups were good and well located on the long pull-thru site we stayed in, but the mud was an issue. It was fine for an overnight stop. We camped at MamaYeh RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites are the longest and widest we have ever seen. 2 sewer locations per site so you can hook to the most convenient. As stated by others park is still under construction, but utilities worked great for us and we didn't need other amenities for 2 night stay. WIFI mostly worked but we were in site #1 which I understand is one of the few that can receive WIFI at this time. Owner is very accommodating and friendly. Only thing that was bothersome was the high iron in the water. It was a little off-color and had a weird smell and taste and this was after going through our coach filter. We disconnected the water and just used our fresh water tank. When we mentioned it to owner, he stated that it is frequently tested and is safe to drink. We camped at MamaYeh RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Great hiking and biking trails in Prince George on Cottonwood Island. The Railroad Museum next to Cottonwood Island is very interesting. Visitor Center is very helpful and had great brochures for roads and stops along the way on our trip to Alaska.

This park is kinda different to review. It has been under development for about four years on 145 acres of land. There are 11 50-amp sites and the rest are 30 amp. Sites are nicely spaced with trees between each site. Gravel pull-throughs are loooong and level. Hookups are well thought out with two water connections and two sewer connections, so no mater where your hook ups are located, no need for extensions. Sites are oriented such that satellite reception to the SE is available. We had no trouble in site one and all the other sites look like the same orientation. There are no other amenities here such as washrooms, etc. yet but it has the potential of being a premier park in the future. The owner is one friendly dude and committed to making your stay enjoyable. Make this your stop in the Prince George area. We camped at MamaYeh RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park is about 12 Km south of Prince George on highway 97. A bit of a jaunt into the city but definetly worth the drive in comparison to other parks in the region.

This is a basic no-frills park. You first notice the "office" is a pop up cover with plastic table and camp chairs; self-register there. The sites are roomy with back-ins along one road and large pull-throughs along another. The owner will visit eventually as he lives nearby; he is enthusiastic and helpful. This was a perfect stop for an overnight the campground well graveled and full of wildflowers and songbirds. No showers or restrooms just the porta-potties but we went self contained and had no need. Trash collected every night at eight. We loved the size and layout of the park, sites were spacious. Will always return when passing this way. As others have said this is a work in progress. Loved it. We camped at MamaYeh RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Tips for other Campers:

The water was high in iron content and slightly coloured, but tested regularly and safe potable water. We hooked up while there but I wouldn't fill my tanks.

While amenities may be lacking here for some, the size of the site and cleanliness of the park was just fine for me. The owner is super nice and friendly. The park is still a work in process and I think with time it will be a gem. WiFi was difficult trying to connect at "the Office" however I understand expansion is in the works. Easy access to/from Hwy 97. Short drive to Prince George. Great for an overnight stay. Lots of wildflowers throughout the park this time of year. My one piece of input is that if you are not traveling with a cell phone, you need to find the owner to get the WiFi password. If you have a cell phone, it is a simple process contacting the owner who may not be on site. Very prompt response! I would stay here again. We camped at MamaYeh RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites are large. Pull-throughs are long and could definitely handle big rigs. 50 amp power is good and so is water pressure. The pull-throughs have got two sewer connections, so you can choose which one best fits your needs. WiFi is very limited and only available on sites 1, 2 and 3. The owner is working to make improvements to the WiFi, so it may be better later in the year. We had 1 OTA television channel and cell phone coverage with Canada Bell was pretty good. We would stay here again if we were in the area. We camped at MamaYeh RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is located 6-7 miles from downtown Price George but not a problem to get to shopping like Costco and Walmart Supercenter. Also a Flying J nearby. Sites were good size with very good utilities. 50 amp power, double water and sewer hookups st our pull through site. Wifi was only at the office which is another RV located on the road as you enter the park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. You are allowed to rinse down your RV but cannot use soap. Firewood is supplied at each site free of charge. I would stay here again. We camped at MamaYeh RV Park in a Motorhome.

My wife and I found that the Mamayeh RV Site to be very well equipped with very friendly staff. The location is pristine, is well treed and the sites are large with three levels of power, water and double sewage outlets in the pull through sites. Mamayeh is definitely the RV Site I would recommend when travelling through the Prince George area. We camped at MamaYeh RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have camped at this site for years and see continual updates. Very enjoyable stay. Site is dog friendly and host is excellent. Very close to Prince George. We left our trailer and made many day trips. Pull-through site with power, water and sewer make easy parking. We will return again and recommend site as a great stay when in the Prince George area. We camped at MamaYeh RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
