Great park with excellent WiFi and very quiet. Easy pull through, wide, level and long spaces so no hassle hooking up and putting out slides. Gravel to park on soaked up the torrential rain just fine with no puddles and grass to step out onto with picnic table and trees gave a park-like feel. Laundry room small but 2 washers and 4 dryers allowed me to get that done. There is a pavilion for gathering with a fire pit. GPS did not do a good job finding them. It's right on Hwy 97 south of all the big industrial businesses. A left turn lane heading south is just for this park. We camped at Northern Experience RV (formerly Southpark RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Thank you for your great review we appreciate it! GPS for some reason doesn’t work very good we’ve tried to figure out how to fix that and haven’t had much success. Thank you for posting in regards to that so other campers will be aware of it. Please come stay with us when you come through Prince George again! We wish you well and safe travels abroad.

We were pleasantly surprised with this park. The new owners are very friendly and are trying very hard to update the park. It was well maintained and clean. I had 30 amp power with no issues at all and the wifi was amazing. The park is quiet and they also have a 5 acre walk that is very nice. I would recommend this park to anyone. Call ahead to reserve. Power was horrible. Couldn't turn on anything without the power cutting off. No A/C, coffee pot, NOTHING. I understand they are going to re-do the electric, but until then plan to dry camp or go elsewhere. Note that these were double sites. If no one was in one half they were pull thru. Otherwise you had to back in. Spaces were tight but doable. We camped at Northern Experience RV (formerly Southpark RV Park) in a Motorhome.

We apologize for your negative experience at our park. Your frustration would have been met with a solution had we have known there was an issue. We have upgraded electrical in areas of the park this month so far with success, to meet our customers needs. If you are ever in the area again please come stay and give us a second chance you won't be disappointed:)

Our site was nice and level as were most sites we saw...the owners are fantastic and are doing a great job.....we only had water and electric at our site which was fine for the one night, they had a dump station but didn't use it...services worked great and the restrooms and showers were clean with as I like, plenty of hot water....didn't use laundry...easy to get to, big rig friendly and the gas, convenient store and liquor store just down the street was very convenient....wal mart not far away either....the WiFi was decent but at times was slow because of the number of campers using it, cell service ATT was good and we only got one ota channel...my only complaint is you pay for your shower, one loonie for a 3 minute shower, 2 for 6 minutes etc....I think showers should be free, one mans opinion..... Thank you for your great review. We are looking to get solar power so we can offer free showers to our guests. We currently have diesel powered showers so customers pay only for what they use. We do thank you for your valued feedback we appreciate it, we hope you will come again next time you are in the Prince George.

As stated before a new young family bought this last year and are improving it. Several sites will get Satellite so ask if you need it before getting assigned. Also, the electric infrastructure is older with only 30 amp service and some power issues at certain sites (our first site had voltage drop issues above 10 amps) so again make sure to tell the owner if you have a larger RV. Lots of trees between and around sites, green grass between sites and well maintained. Some pads are not quite level, had to block on mine. Wifi works very well. Large Gazebo area near the front of the park. This park is close to PG and easy access from 97. We camped at Northern Experience RV (formerly Southpark RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Park is clean with beautiful flowers around the gazebo We have 3 dogs; the puppy was welcomed into the owners home to visit!!!! We are long term monthly tenants. By far the best RV park in Prince George. We camped at Northern Experience RV (formerly Southpark RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Driving thru and spent a night here. Very friendly man working the desk, believe its a work from home type RV park. He let me chose whatever site I wanted, easy pull thru's even for a triple axle 41 footer. Might have been difficult if the park was packed. Laundry room was nice, 2 washers and 4 dryers, 3 loonies to wash, quarters or loonies to dry. Internet was better than most! Possibly due to only about 8 campers in the park. Hi Lakecityemt,
Thank you for the kind words. We are a work from home type RV park and it is important to us that our guests feel welcome. Tracy and I are very pleased to hear that the internet worked great, as we recently upgraded the bandwidth and installed a new wifi antenna. Hope to see you again.

Nice campground, clean with large fairly level sites. But, very expensive compared to other area campgrounds in the area. Owner is VERY rude, hates dogs, charges an extra $10 Canadian per dog, so $40 quickly becomes $60 per night. Did I mention the owner is VERY VERY rude. I did not have a good experience at this park due to the "crazy lady" owner. She hates dogs and goes off on a tirade at the mention of a dog. Sign on the wall threatens $100 fine for dog poop. She charges an outrageous $10 extra per night for dogs and demands that owners walk their dogs off park property in the woods. I told her she should just refuse service to pet owners instead of treating customers poorly. She peeps over her fence watching you walk your dog and even followed some folks around. Then she walked around the park in the evening chastising folks for running their air conditioners. She said there was nothing wrong with her power, just people abusing their 30A connection. This lady is crazy and needs to find another line of work!

Besides her oddities, the park is okay. Pull thrus are very long & big rig suitable as others have mentioned. Back-ins are about 50' long and relatively easy in/out. Cable TV is useless with only 1 channel and OTA TV is limited too. TELUS had a good cell signal with LTE & sometimes 3G data signal. Satellite reception is iffy due to trees. I can't recommend this park due to the owner. We camped at Northern Experience RV (formerly Southpark RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites are level with gravel bordered by grass and shade trees. Our site needed some fresh gravel as it almost was a dirt site. Rest rooms and showers were clean WIFI connection was good. The roads are gravel and the sites are gravel and grass. The pull thru sites are very long with easy access. The park is heavily treed but not a problem with access. The cable TV had 4 channels and 1 did not work (OTA had 2 channels). There were back-in sites around the outer edge and super long pull-thrus down the center of the park. There is a pavilion for meetings and nice clean laundry and showers. Every site was 30amp service. We stayed at this park in June of 2015 on our way to meet up with our Alaskan Caravan and it was really nice and we would have given it a 8 or 9 at that time. During that stay the park was almost empty.

We again stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our Alaskan caravan in Sept 2015 and the experience was not good. There was another large caravan in the park along with our 20 rig caravan and it was standing room only. The electrical system was overloaded and kept going out. The sewer system was overloaded and backed up into our site. The owner refused to deal with the problems - one 5th wheel owner pulled out an ancient generator with no noise suppressor. Again the owner refused to deal with problem and referred complaints to the wagon masters (who also refused to deal with problem).

We do understand that the season is very short in northern British Columbia but this park was way overbooked and overloaded. This is an older park and would be really nice with a few upgrades and a attitude adjustment for the manager. We would probably not stay here again. We camped at Northern Experience RV (formerly Southpark RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

There is full hook up for 30 amp. There are only 2 50amp spots and they do not have water or sewer. The power is great. Some shade. Lady very nice that runs the place. Wi-Fi was great for a change. This RV Park has been on my Prince George stopping point while traveling to Alaska both up and back for the past 5 years. The best part is that they supply soft water to all of the sites plus their restrooms and showers. Easy in and out with their large pull-through sites. I am 72 feet long with the coach and trailer and have no difficulty at this park. There isn't another RV Park in Prince George that can handle my size rig.
