The use of the word "resort" is a real misnomer for this park. It is in a beautiful setting; however, the sites are small, crowded, and very expensive. Street layout is single laned with no room for 2 rvs to pass each other. Walking bridges over Sinclair creek are wobbly and seem very fragile. This park is way over priced, and way over hyped. It is simply NOT a resort but rather a standard, old style campground in a nice setting. My tip would be to avoid this park. Its rates are way out of line with the park. Not a resort! The staff was not particularly friendly either. Washing machines are old and very limited in number(3) and work area, especially for a park with 112 sites. Park has cable tv which is OK; however, if you don't have your own coaxial cable the rental fee for a cable is $10 per day. We camped at The Canyon RV Resort on Sinclair Creek in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a beautiful park, the only draw back are the tight roads, lovely stream, quiet even though it contains a lot of people. Washing machines are very good, but few of them. Nice grounds, flowers, grass. We will return. We camped at The Canyon RV Resort on Sinclair Creek in a Motorhome.

DO NOT attempt to arrive early. The entrance to the park is over a narrow bridge and if you are towing you will not be able to turn around to avoid someone exiting the park. This is a lovely park, great for kids and towables. We stayed two nights, and at least 90% of the rigs there were towables. Despite what they say, it is VERY tight for any motorhome over 35 feet if towing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only thing odd about this park is that they ask to you to stop by the office and tell you when you depart. My advice is to call instead. We stayed in space 112, so in order to drive back to the office, we had a choice of exiting the way we came in and circle back to the office like people arriving, or turn right at the first bridge, and go past spaces 13-38. However, those spaces are angled to exit in the opposite direction. We met a large 5th wheel as we were crossing the bridge, so they had to back up and get out of the way since we were towing 4 down. So if you are in a space that's north of the creek, call before leave and don't try to go back to the office. We camped at The Canyon RV Resort on Sinclair Creek in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice campground in a beautiful setting with a creek running through it. The sites are generous in the premium section we stayed in, the back of our motorhome was creekside making for a fantastic location. The roads through the park are single lane and if you encounter others coming the other way someone has to give way. The park is very well kept, however, the recycling bins were overflowing and not emptied during our stay. Garbage bins were emptied regularly. In my opinion, the park is over priced. Staff was very polite and helpful, they worked hard to get me an extra day on a summer long weekend. Proximity to town is excellent, and it is only a short drive into Invermere if you are looking something with a larger selection of shopping alternatives. Hiking trails nearby are excellent. We camped at The Canyon RV Resort on Sinclair Creek in a Motorhome.

This is by far the nicest park we have stayed in this Summer (so far). The grass was constantly mowed, there is a wonderful stream through the middle of the park, and the park is below the town/road in a valley so that it is very quiet. Site was level and plenty of room for slide-outs. We could not get satellite but cable was included with over 60 channels including US and Canada stations. The only slight complaint was that the roads are tight including some tight turns and a one-lane bridge over the creek with an angle coming in to it making it challenging (but doable) for big rigs. We camped at The Canyon RV Resort on Sinclair Creek in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The hot springs are great of course. Also, there is a FANTASTIC Austrian restaurant called The Salzburg just up the hill, which is a bit pricey but worth every penny.

A very nice campground with a stream running through it. In fact the stream was right behind our site #76. The road is a bit tight in some places driving in, especially on the bridge over the stream, but it is doable for big rigs. The campground is quiet even though it is close to the main highway. Probably because the campground is literally down in a valley below 100' the highway. The sites have grass and trees and are well maintained. Wifi worked, and cable TV was good. We camped at The Canyon RV Resort on Sinclair Creek in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful park. I've stayed twice in 2015, both early in the season and late. Very quiet both times. I think my site number was 110, next to the walkway bridge over the creek at the extreme west end of the park. Walking distance to town with shops, restaurants. The peace and quiet is better than any park we've stayed. Just have to love the setting. Stayed with a Class A Motothome, found the access in/out a bit tight but not impossible. We camped at The Canyon RV Resort on Sinclair Creek in a Motorhome.

This park was a very pleasant surprise. When we saw the canyon the park is in below the main road, we were concerned about our choice of RV parks. This is a very nice park. Close to town, a couple of miles from the hot springs. Lots of lawns and lots of water in the creek. Very nice restrooms and showers. Our site had lots of space, right next to a playground. We had a pull-thru with lots of room. Bring a flashlight for walking at night, no outside lights that I remember. Quiet at night, not loud during the day. We stayed one night.

We would come back. We camped at The Canyon RV Resort on Sinclair Creek in a Fifth Wheel.

Absolutely beautiful grounds and layout. Extremely well cared for and a pleasure to stay. Sinclair creek runs through the campground, lined with rock and crossed by several car and pedestrian bridges. Walking trail to the hot springs 3km but outstanding beauty as you walk past Sinclair falls. We loved it here. We camped at The Canyon RV Resort on Sinclair Creek in a Travel Trailer.

This is our 2nd stay at this campground, the first was 10 years ago. Was great then and still the same. They have been improving the sites and added 12 premium full hookup sites with 50 amp service. Lovely campground in the canyon with a crystal clear creek running through the centre of the campground. We had a pull through site, was 30 feet between our 5th wheel and the next RV. Sites are gravel pads, concrete block picnic areas, have many trees and fire pits - wood can be purchased at the office. Nice clean laundry facilities. Love this location, 4kms from Radium Hot Springs. Is a must stop if you are in the area - would recommend reserving. We camped at The Canyon RV Resort on Sinclair Creek in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park in a beautiful location. Many sites along the stream running through the park. Great restrooms and showers. Laundry was nice, but had some machines broken. Took longer to do the laundry. The sites are larger than they looked driving in, and the grounds are very well maintained. Very bad cable signals, no digital, WiFi was just OK. Being in the bottom of a small canyon, I did not try the antenna. Would stay here again. Adjacent to nice town. We camped at The Canyon RV Resort on Sinclair Creek in a Motorhome.

This is NOT a resort as it doesn't have ANY amenities. It IS a nice RV park, with lots of grass, trees, and a stream. It must be old as the sites were small pads and had very small sever drains. Sites are so tight that everyone had to park the pick-up in front of rig, thus looking down the street you saw hardly anything but trucks parked. It was clean and well manicured landscaping and quiet at night. The young lady in office was very nice, but an older one was sort of snippy. If I went back to the area, I would stay at another park with bigger and more private sites. We camped at The Canyon RV Resort on Sinclair Creek in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful with grassy level sites, major cable and fast free Wi-Fi. Was a little intimidating coming down the road but well worth it. We had a 36' rig and tow vehicle and had no problems. Could be tight turns for really big rigs. Treed, gorgeous and quiet: loved it. Limited on pull throughs so if that is what you want, reservations would be a great idea. The park is attractive, clean and friendly. The sites are adequate. The restrooms are clean but inadequate. The water pressure is good, but there is only one shower temperature--too hot for this camper. There are no places to sit anywhere in the restroom, so I guess we are expected to balance on one foot while taking off and putting on shoes. There are not enough hooks for clothing and towel. There is only one inadequate hot air blower for the entire bathroom. We paid over $180 for four nights--a price that should buy better facilities. We camped at The Canyon RV Resort on Sinclair Creek in a Motorhome.
