July 30, Sunday, Blanket Creek Provincial Park, 105 sites, $28, no hookups or showers, Site 47 This campground is located about 14 miles south of Revelstoke in British Columbia. The Columbia River flows past some of the sites and there is a nice swimming area in the day use area creek filled. The sites are large with a cedar picnic table and fire pit. We found that the sites near the river attracted more bugs. No hookups but they do have bathhouses but no showers. Showers are going to be added to this campground by next summer 2018 and expect prices to go up. Our site was at the end of the road and we really liked it, especially on a hot day since it had lots of shade. The walk to the swimming hole can be tiring but one can drive over there and park in the lot. It is self checkin but the rangers ride their bikes around in the late afternoon to check the reserved and first come sites. They were so nice and gave us some great information about what to do in the area. There is a waterfall trail across from the dump station that is worth seeing. RV's can park there and take the short 5 min hike to it. There was a fire ban when we were there and driving to the campground off of 23, we could see fires in the mountains. Good stop! We really liked our big site here in the woods. Very pretty! We camped at Blanket Creek Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

O Canada! You do it SO well. Your Provincial Parks are jewels, and Blanket Creek is no exception. We were dry camping of course, so there weren't showers. It would have been more fun if there hadn't been a ban on campfires throughout the West, but that's nobody's fault. No WiFi, Internet, telephone service or TV. There had been bear sightings, but the park operator told us that it was a black bear and not predatory. What's not to like? We camped at Blanket Creek Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful sites throughout. Great walking trail down to Arrow Lake with incredible views to the east. Nice at sunrise. Park staff seemed to be overly uptight about a dog off the leash sitting under a picnic table. Very nice campground if you can survive without hookups. We camped at Blanket Creek Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was our second visit and again it was great. Nice large sites cut out of the forest. Runs along a beautiful river. No hook-ups. No showers. Combination of pit and flush toilets. Nice man made lagoon for swimming. Hiking trails that lead to a nice waterfall within the campground. More hiking trails nearby. We will stay here again. We camped at Blanket Creek Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is an absolutely beautiful park. Very tranquil, has a beautiful nature trail and a waterfall right in the park. There's a small lagoon with beach area where our kids played. We had sites (444/45) for our two units were perfectly fine, although there are many that are smaller. We will be back again. We camped at Blanket Creek Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.
