This park is dusty and weathered. Sometimes I just don't understand KOA. They are very well known and yet they nickel and dime everything. Expensive laundry with only cold water. All the washers were empty. I would think they would provide excellent services for this kind of money so they would be used. Wi Fi is only available in the club house. If I wanted to fill up my campground during August and make my money for the summer I would offer good deals to my customers, so they would keep coming back and so I would fill up the place every night. Word of mouth is gold. We camped at Sicamous KOA in a Motorhome.

The rate shown is in Cdn $ and before the KOA member discount. I paid using my KOA points so my actual cost was $0. This is conveniently located on the Trans Canada Highway just east of Sicamous. Being so convenient there was highway noise but that does die down late in the evening. Also not too far from the obligatory railroad but that didn't cause us any problem. Check-in was relatively painless even though we had no reservation. The receptionist was fairly new and under instruction but she did a good job and was pleasant. However, I didn't get any KOA literature or plan of the park so had no idea where anything was. Neither did we get an escort to our site or wi-fi code but as this was a one-night stop it wasn't a major problem and I used my Telus hotspot. We were given site 100. A very private site, tucked in to the back corner of the park and about the furthest point away from the TCH. It was a gravel & dirt site, fairly level and pretty wide - enough for opposing slides. Long enough for a 40' 5er and 23' F350 truck. Equipped with a picnic table, fire pit, 30amp power, water & sewer. All well positioned but no breaker on post and had to walk to the office to get staff to re-set after it tripped. Interior roads are dust & dirt. Even at walking speed I kicked up a lot of dust towing to the site. The back row was very poorly lit - non existent. Without a layout I set out to locate the washrooms - only one set for the CG - I believe. Fairly clean but the showers looked dated and the kind that are very difficult to keep clean - looking at these. Bathroom stalls are wide for disabled access but I didn't see any grab bars to help. They offer curbside trash pickup There is a pool, children's play area and an all you can eat daily pancake breakfast for $5.95 (incl drinks ) - bacon extra $ Good for an overnight stop but that would be it - for us anyway. We camped at Sicamous KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This was an overnight stop for us. We called the night before and even in the busiest season they found us a spot. The roads are tight for big rigs and our site had the stump (3 ft. high) in the middle. It was a left over of one of the very few trees they have cut down. Our site was level. We camped at Sicamous KOA in a Motorhome.

The Sicamous KOA is a very nice campground. it is a bit tight for larger units. We travel in a 40' coach so we need to book early to be sure to get an adequate site. We hit a homer at this KOA. We were assigned the nicest site in the place. It had a beautiful brick patio with deck table, chairs and umbrella. It was fabulous. We loved our site. The campground is quaint. The sites are level and there was some amazing tenting sites. Wifi was available but not strong. Staff was great. It is a bit out of town so you are somewhat isolated. It's right on the highway but well buffered by trees so road noise is not a major issue. Some of the landscaping could use a little TLC, but otherwise it was very nice. I would recommend and return. We camped at Sicamous KOA in a Motorhome.

Campground is poorly maintained, dusty and overgrown. Sites are not level, hookups are in dire need of replacement. They say they have WiFi, this is the case but only when sitting in the office.

There are no garbage bins for you to put your garbage in, instead, you are told to leave your garbage bags at the front of your site and they will be picked up the next morning. Awfully inconvenient that you have to hang on to your garbage until the next day. We checked out at 11:00am and garbage was still in front of every site. The whole campground looks like it's garbage day, everyday. How this campground can still use the KOA brand is beyond me. We would not recommend this campground, nor will we return. We camped at Sicamous KOA in a Travel Trailer.

The Askew's grocery store in Sicamous has designated RV parking right on the street. No need to get in the parking lot.

It was a very pleasant sight at the end of a very long day. Nice level sites, green, reasonably quiet. Even thought it is right on the road, the trees muffle out a lot of the road noise.

Very clean, our site had been freshly raked. We camped at Sicamous KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Office and pool area are nice as can be expected from KOA. Unfortunately the campground grounds are poorly maintained, overgrown, dusty and unimpressive. We tend to expect more for $48 per night. Not even WI-FI available at the sites. Traffic noise is fairly constant. Staff were pleasant however. We camped at Sicamous KOA in a Travel Trailer.

I stayed at this campground for 2 nights. Owners were very friendly and helpful. My site was level and easy to get in an out of. I was also able to receive satellite TV from my dome. The only thing that would make this campground better would be to have the Wi-Fi work from the campsite. I really enjoyed my stay. We camped at Sicamous KOA in a Motorhome.

A little rough around the edges, but it's not a parking lot. The kind of campsite I remember as a kid. Owners and staff are great. Sites are huge and ours was level. Bathrooms are spotless. We really enjoyed it. Oh, and if you are a golfer go play Hyde Mountain. Spectacular. We would like to make this a 3 day spot next year as well. We camped at Sicamous KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This was our first visit to this campground. It is not high season yet but we still would rate this campground very high. Super clean and tidy campground and the bathrooms are spotless and with good hot showers. Owners are friendly. We will definitely stay again at this great campground. We have stayed here many times, and have always enjoyed it. The pool is great, the sites are nicely treed (unless you have a big rig and have to park in the field - that isn't ideal). It is a drive to the beach, but whenever we stay in the area, this is our favorite place to stay. The kids enjoy the ice cream social, pancake breakfast and hayrides. The mini golf could use an update, but the kids say it is better than nothing (but they shouldn't charge for it). I love that it is still camping - not parking on a cement pad. There is free (cedar) fire wood, nice people, and a nice location. We camped at Sicamous KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This park fails to even measure up to the poor standards of many KOA's. It is an old park that has not been maintained or rejuvenated in years and years. The sites are not level and are a mixture of grass and old gravel. The hookups are ancient-- with many of the water hookups attached to rotted or broken posts. All of the KOA literature says that Wi-Fi is available. That simply is not the case. The front office and rec building is extremely well-done and maintained. That is the ONLY reason for upgrading this review to a TWO. The rest of the park deserves a rating of ONE-- only because there is no lower rating available. My advice would be to avoid staying in the Sicamous area if this KOA is the only thing available to someone. If you must stay here, a word of advice would be to NOT hook up to the water and do NOT do any wash there. The water has an extraordinary iron level. Our ice cubes were brown and when we disconnected our hose and pressure regulator were filled with RUST. As stated earlier, this is a pitiful example of a campground. On a more positive note: If you happen to be in Kamloops, be sure to eat at a restaurant called "Hello Toast". It is awesome!! We camped at Sicamous KOA in a Motorhome.
