Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $58.00

Price is CAD, including tax. We overnighted on two separate occasions and would go back, but only for an overnight. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The grounds are well-maintained and clean. The the sites are very close: so much so that on our first stay, the neighbor's slide-out encroached on "our" grassy spot; the same neighbor welcomed us by complaining that our picnic table was too close to one of their two trucks. The majority of the sites are occupied permanently, many by people with jobs in the Vancouver area. There is no view; this is a very urban campground. The bathrooms and showers ($1 for 20 min.) are very clean and modern. There are recycling receptacles for everything, including organics. (Hats off, even if this is mandated by the city.) They have some good facilities: pool, etc. which we didn't use. We would go back for an overnight, but not to stay. Wifi was unusable the first night but OK the second night. Note that the "voucher" number they give you on check-in is valid for only 3 or 4 machines, a ridiculously low number, considering that many people have a laptop, a tablet, and a phone. We camped at Pacific Border RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Generally a good experience , we had an issue with one of the ladies in the office. She should not be dealing with the public. Internet spotty & intermittent. Barely on line for email & FB. Would stay again. Sites are small and close together. Park is very clean. Friendly fellow campers, some long term residents however their sites were well managed. We camped at Pacific Border RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We choose this location to be close to the water. In this respect it was okay. Overall the park was satisfactory, clean, quiet, secure and well kept. The laundry, pool and restrooms were good. However, we booked this location in January with a $100 deposit for a July, 11 night stay. We were very disappointed in the spot we were given compared to others in the park. It was all gravel except for a small area with concrete blocks. It was so small we could hardly fit with our slide and awning open, which went from one side to the other almost touching the neighbors. The utility post for the neighbor spot with sewer, water and power was in the middle of our site with water dripping constantly, sewer smell and barely enough room to set up our BBQ grill. We only had enough room for two chairs and that was tight. We feel that due to the advance booking we should have had some priority on a nicer spot - which we observed there were some available throughout our stay, even some with grass! Maybe we should have asked to move, but why should we have to? I guess we are too nice to rock the boat. They should have considered this. No supplies available at the location. WIFI was very poor. Cable TV was poor, intermittent at best. Tried antennae the last day and that was better than the cable. Glad neither of these were an extra cost as not worth it. For what we got it was over priced and would be nice to get a refund of some sort. There are two other RV resorts nearby that we checked out and intend to try the next time we are in the area. We would not recommend this location to others. We camped at Pacific Border RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Not real close to amenities. Had to drive, or long noisy walk on the highway, every time we wanted something.

Excellent Choice!!! Park staff very friendly and knowledgeable. they take pride in their RV park and the surroundings. It shows in park cleanliness and with how quickly anything that is broken (hot tub wasn't hot one day) and it was fixed right away. We have already booked our next stay.

We are HEAVY Internet users. Park Internet was OK for email and basic browsing, (which is what it is meant for) but for heavier use (think Netflix, YouTube, Picture Uploads, etc) we used our Verizon MiFi to ensure stability and consistent speed/connectivity. The Verizon Hotspot only got 1 bar at this location, but was still solid. Interestingly, being on the cusp of two nations, cellular coverage, both US and Canadian, was pretty bad. Telephone calls would often drop. We camped at Pacific Border RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed one night before crossing the border. Everything went well and the staff was friendly and helpful. One concern, not caused by the park, was addressed immediately and effectively. The park was mostly filled with seasonal rigs, but they were well maintained and sites were clean and neat. Will return. We camped at Pacific Border RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

An excellent spot to stay before crossing the border going south. You are literally a minute from the border. Be careful when approaching the rv park as you must turn right just before you are committed to crossing and then turn left quickly, but without taking a wrong road also leading to the crossing.

This is the second time that we have stayed at this RV park. We stayed for 3 weeks in April 2016 and 2 weeks in September 2016. We are very impressed with the cleanliness of the park and it's facilities. The standards are high and they expect you keep your site and RV clean. They even allow you to wash your RV on site. The WiFi and cable are good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is definitely an adult oriented facility. Pets are allowed but must be walked outside the park. We look forward to staying there again. We camped at Pacific Border RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great park. Gravel sites that are very neat and tidy. Stones throw from US boarder crossing. Office staff very helpful and friendly. Some sites have paver stone patios with a table and chairs. We have stayed in this park before. The park is well kept and clean and any available sites are very narrow, like right on top of your neighbors. We booked in for a month ($625.00) and later decided to stay another week on the sit we were on but they would not pro-rate the extra week so we paid $300.00 for the extra week. Other parks that we have stayed at will pro-rate the additional rental fee if the site is available. We camped at Pacific Border RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed one night on the way back to the Island. Our site back onto a truck yard. The roads are wide and easily managed. The sites are graveled and very close together. Our site was not level. The staff was friendly and walked with us explaining the amenities. There is a nice indoor pool and hot tub. WIFI is very good. Most of the residents appear to be seasonal or permanent. The park is clean and organized. Our site had only 30 amp power. We camped at Pacific Border RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

First to correct a couple of things. This park tells me they don't have pull throughs - I asked. Secondly, the local cable company requires each site to have a converter box so unless you have very good access to the back of you TV and a power outlet handy - no cable. Also this park has a very high percentage of full timers or full season rigs. So the transients are generally parked on the parameter many of which sites are slopped from to back so bring some leveling blocks. If you are on the south end of the park you will get early morning truck noise from the rigs lining up to go over the border. Other than that this is an exceptional park with a super friendly staff. This is a good base camp to visit the Vancouver area which is about a 40 minute drive after traffic blows off in the morning. Many things to do but very costly.

Park is well maintained and modern, just across the border from the U.S. The park has an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna as well as a pool table and TV in the comfortably furnished lounge area with an outdoor fire ring/ sitting area. Sites are level with picnic tables but are not spacious. There are many permanent residents but the units are well maintained and there is no clutter. Dogs are allowed and abundant but must be walked off site. We camped at Pacific Border RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Nearby is a beautiful beach/shoreline at White Rock B.C. Parking there is expensive at $3 per hour, but if you park on the street just east of the village it is 6 dollars for 5 hours and it is a very short walk. Morgan Village is close by the RV park on 24th Street and offers abundant shopping including a Walmart. You are about an hours drive to downtown Vancouver.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Sites are close for big rigs, but manageable. Good amenities and good, paved roads. Sites are gravel but level. Currently the cable TV does not work but we could get satellite reception. Right at the Blaine/Pacific border crossing, but the truck noise is not an issue.
