This park has nice grassy sites with picnic tables and fire rings. Many sites are next to additional grassy areas, but a few sites are a bit tight. The kids enjoyed playing on the large modern playground. The check in ladies were nice and helpful. The park is adjacent to the boat launch for the mighty Peace River, so there is quick and easy access to skip rocks at the river. I was all excited to see that the pit toilets had hand wash stations...but they were dry as bone, apparently not having been in working order for quite some time. Overall a nice stay, knowing that this park had electricity only, and no other services, not even a wash house. The biggest downfall is probably the noise of vehicles rumbling over the high level bridge which is almost right over the campground; we slept soundly despite this but it might bother some. We camped at Peace Island Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Sites are long, but narrow. I don't know how you would use the fire pit if you have someone in the site next to you without catching them on fire. Every site had a reserved sign on the post, but the manager said "Oh, we save a few" and put us in one toward the middle. Office is across the street in white house by wood pile. Okay park, but would probably look elsewhere next time. Park was full for the weekend and really felt crowded and noisy. We camped at Peace Island Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

We stayed here while traveling through. Overall, we really liked this park. It is a bit more primitive. There is electric hook-ups, but no water. Water is located on the island portion, by hand pump. Bathrooms are pit-toilets, but were clean. No showers. The rate was only $25.00 for an electric site. No extra fees for having children, (A bonus!) The sites are level and VERY large. The park was quiet, with the exception of the traffic on the metal bridge, but a rumbling sound that wasn't too bothersome. A gentleman came around selling firewood, shortly after we were settled in. We loved staying here. The attendant and the firewood guy were both very friendly. There are walking paths, riverfront to fish. We would stay here again. We camped at Peace Island Park in a Tent Trailer.Undo

A good overnight stay. Clean, fairly level sites. We camped here in a 45' motorcoach and had plenty of room to maneauver. Price is right and they have electricity. We camped at Peace Island Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Excellent overnight spot. Huge pull-through 30 amp dry sites, as well as shaded back-ins. I was told there was central water and dump, but I didn't see them. At $14US, it's a real find. We camped at Peace Island Park in a Motorhome.Undo
