1 Park near Ahwahnee, California
May 2015 - $35.00
Interesting rv park. As others have said a quick uphill climb and then about a mile drive to the park.
Park was clean, did need a few few trees trimmed but overall a quiet place with golf course nearby.
We will be back. - ChiefUSN

We do not recommend you stay here. The 1.5 mile entrance road is filled with tight turns. Two of them had signs recommending just 10 MPH! The first quarter mile of the entrance road is an incredible 8 percent uphill grade. Very difficult to get into golf course club house parking lot to register. You must reverse course to get back to the actual RV park. Roads in the campground are narrow. Over half of the park was inaccessible due to narrow roads, tight turns and trees right up against the road. Half the accessible pads had a steep section at beginning or end of the slot which would make it very easy to scrape the back of your RV. Only three other RVs there when we arrived. We now know why. Unless you have an overpowered engine and are a risk-taker, avoid this site! - Vince & Charlette

Keep looking. Road to campground is not good. Lots of sharp turns and hairpins. You have to go past the campground to the golf pro shop to check in. When we called about 30 minutes out they didn't bother to tell us that. The drive into the campground is narrow and requires a very careful turn. Have to make 3 (or more) point turn to get to first row. Pads are crumbling asphalt. Site is dirt. No where near level. Doubt you will be able to level even with pads. No TV. We asked for a site that would allow us to use our dish. Host didn't have a clue as to which ones would. We finally got it to work. Glad we unhooked at golf parking lot, would have been near impossible to find a level spot in campground to unhook. Grossly over priced for what little they have to offer. As I said, keep looking. In 4 years this campground ranks in the top 5 of the worst ones we have stayed in. We would Not stay here again. - Scott Charlton
