For a place to just spend the night before traveling on, this was just fine. I'm sure its popular with fisher folk during season. There were plenty of large sites with W&E. This time of year the park is mostly empty so almost all the sites were pull through, since they are back to back. Really enjoyed walking down to the beach last evening to find beach glass and photo the sunset. It is a very steep drive down to the park, but the sites are quite level and the Wi-Fi is great. We camped at Albion River Campground & Fishing Village in a Motorhome.

This place is pretty rough. STEEP grade (14%) down into park, fortunately we'd already unhooked the tow car. Park on dirty sand. Grass is brown and sparse. We paid $40 plus $2 for the dog. No Verizon cell service but Wi-Fi was excellent. Needed electricity for the night so we stopped here instead of the nearby state park. Probably would avoid in the future. We camped at Albion River Campground & Fishing Village in a Motorhome.

The only thing that saved this park was its proximity to the beach. The sites are uneven and very rustic. The Wi-Fi sporadic and slow. Worst of all, there is only one bathroom, which was located a long ways away from our site (approximately three city blocks). AND the showers were pay-per-use. Unacceptable for a park that charges $40.00/night. Many full timers simply let their dogs loose to do their daily "duty" on the beach or at other sites. We will not stay there again. We camped at Albion River Campground & Fishing Village in a Travel Trailer.

What can we say, anywhere on the California Coast is usually beautiful. We found this place centrally located to suit our interests. Everyone at the park was friendly and we even had a group dinner with other people during our stay. You simply cant go wrong here. We camped at Albion River Campground & Fishing Village in a Motorhome.

Great area. Beautiful scenery. Lots of cable TV channels. Great access for diving and fishing. They promised us a boat slip and were able to make good on the promise when we arrived. The only two downsides to this trip were the loud drunk parties here on the weekend. Also the dump station was broken so traffic was very rudely directed to the empty spot next to us for the trailers to dump. We got to smell 20+ trailers dumping there sewer next to us on Sunday morning. Very disgusting! We camped at Albion River Campground & Fishing Village in a Travel Trailer.

Let me start off by saying that the surrounding area is stunning. This is possibly the most beautiful scenery I've seen. Now we'll get to the campground. The office staff is not very organized and somewhat clueless about what is going on with the reservation process. I had a full hookup site reserved, and they had lost it due to a computer crash. I was only able to receive a partial hookup site upon arrival. My buddy rented the rental cabin which was supposed to include a boat slip. The boat slips were overbooked and had no room for our boat. On the second day we were able to get our boat on the commercial docks. The access for fishing and diving is fantastic from this location. We camped at Albion River Campground & Fishing Village in a Travel Trailer.

Came here with a big group from work. The campground is nothing more than a big dusty
parking lot. There is excellent small boat access from the campground, as the river that leads to the Albion cove runs right by it. It is very popular with fisherman and divers. For tenters, forget it unless you like camping in the middle of a dusty parking lot among RVers and travel trailers. They pack you in tight here. The beach access is great, however, and if you have a RV, it could be a reasonable weekend. The only ambiance being the beach, which is a walk away. Campfire allowed but you will be surrounded by RVs and others--no trees, hedges, or anything to speak of. It is a big parking lot, like I said. We camped at Albion River Campground & Fishing Village in a Travel Trailer.
