1 Park near Alpine, California
Oct 2015 - $25.00
This could be a great RV park, but the way it is run and set up now leaves a LOT to be desired! We drive a 45' motorhome and the East Meadow should be able to accommodate us, but getting into this place is almost impossible. Why would you put in a narrow gate and a sharp right turn to get into an RV park? Makes no sense! Also, they need to trim their trees to accommodate tall RV's. We stayed here several days and one morning we woke up to no electricity. We went up to the office and they said "oh yes, it will be out all day...didn't they tell you when you checked in?" uhhhh....no! (and it was almost 90 degrees that day!) fortunately we have a generator, but those who didn't were in for one hot day! Maintenance is at a ZERO. Huge gullies were everywhere on the dirt roads (from not-so-recent rains). It is obvious that they have not done any road maintenance in years! We will NOT be staying here again.
If you have a small trailer or RV and just need a bare bones place to stay for the night, then this place would be OK, as the price is OK, but any rig over 36' should look elsewhere! - mnmwillis
Jul 2015 - $35.00
This is a bare bones RV Park. The only reason we stayed was to attend a nearby family reunion. The only real amenities are the pool and casino. Thye should use some of the gambling profits to turn the Park into a class act. We have paid less per night on this trip and had both cable and good WiFi. - Joe-n-Doe

I reviewed this park in 2010 and gave it a 3. We enjoyed it more this time and have upped the rating to a 5. Some people will rate this park much higher. Some lower. It is a very quiet park with lots of mature Oak trees. There are nice white ranch type fences. There is a very good view to the west with good sunsets over the mountains. The utilities are very good. But this is also basically a sandy dirt area that is not level. There are also cows and bulls roaming free. Some of the animals have learned to turn the water on. When they do this water can run for a long time as there is nearly no one in this campground. Therefore, there are gullies downhill from the water outlets. And lots of other gullies from natural runoff. The spaces are huge. We stayed here in a group of 10 coaches. We were in the "new" section. It was almost empty. In the "old" section right next to us were about 100 semi permanent RVs. The day that we left one of the semi permanent residents got into an argument with another and then shot gunned the guy he was arguing with. We were not affected by this incident but it was close to where we were. We missed this activity by a couple of hours. It happened in mid day. Right down the street is a HUGE casino. Very modern and very well visited. Good food. - RFCN2
