This was a lovely, shaded little park away from the highway. Very quiet. 50 amps and Wi-Fi. Beautiful shade trees and a park across the street. Deer roamed throughout. Fred is a jolly character! Stayed one night as we rerouted around fires, but I wish we could have stayed two and explored the little town. Spot 2 allowed us to keep our tow attached. Antonio's delivered delicious pizza nd salad right to our motorhome. We camped at Sully's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very friendly and helpful host. It's not a beautiful park but the resident deer makes up for that. Lots of full timers but we don't have a problem with that. Full hook ups at reasonable price for a pull thru. Can't beat that. We camped at Sully's RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a cozy little spot that I stayed at for one night on my way to Idaho. Check in was easy and the manager was friendly. They give you a key for bathroom entry, but I didn't use their bathroom or shower. They have 5 or so pull-through sites next to the entry that are apparently set aside for overnighters. The remaining sites all seemed to be long term users. Long term campers were quiet. The overnighter pull-through sites were well maintained. I didn't use their WiFi but my Verizon worked well there. There were plenty of trees around. The campground is on the edge of town with open countryside views. I would stay here if I come through Alturas again. We camped at Sully's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

There's a nice looking city park right across the street, but you may want to use bug repellant - I had to leave the park soon due to flying, biting bugs.

Lovely, quiet, well managed park on the edge of the Modoc National Wildlife Refuge. A doe mule deer was our "gate greeter" and "walked" us to our site the afternoon we checked in. Manager is a charming gentleman who told us of other critters that like to hang out at Sully's (each morning, a flock of turkey vultures perch on trees in the town park across the driveway to dry their wings after splashing in the canal. Sites are level, most with shade, water pressure and electric service were good, so was Verizon cell. There were half a dozen or so OTA channels. We had a lovely time there. We camped at Sully's RV Park in a Motorhome.

We called ahead to make sure they had a pull thru for one nite. The owner said she wouldn't be there when we arrived but she would put a cone in a site and save it for us. Couldn't have asked for more. It's on a dead end street so there is no traffic; quiet park. There is a lovely city park across the street with deer roaming around and they even come into the RV park. This park is walking distance to downtown. It was a lovely fall day and the park employees were raking up the leaves (and unfortunately using a noisy leaf blower). We would stay here again. Oh.... and the wi-fi was terrific! We camped at Sully's RV Park in a Motorhome.

A nice place to camp. There are some long-term renters but they were quiet and friendly. The management is very friendly. Campground is clean and has some trees and patches of grass. The main Hwy is far enough away that traffic noise is not an issue. A nice park is across the deadend road. We camped at Sully's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

My biggest complaint is when parks say they have Internet. It was not usable and kicked you off constantly. Come on guys! Pay for Internet speeds that are reasonable!!! I need to work!!!

No TV and I can't find the Trash. On the plus side, it was very quiet and had lovely areas for dogs. We camped at Sully's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The wildlife preserve nearby is nice for birdwatching. Visit the Brass Rail for good Basque food. Quaint little town and comfortable RV park for overnight or a few days.

Needed an overnight stay on our way north for the summer. Easy access off the main road but far enough so as not to hear road noise. Park is on a dead end street so not much traffic at all. Very small park but we had no problems fitting in a pull thru with our 40 ft fiver. Huge community park across the street to walk your dog on a leash or just enjoy the weather. Lots of trees so no satellite from our site. Limited overnight sites reservations encouraged. We camped at Sully's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an older park and is mostly filled with permanent residents and contractors working in the area. As far as I could tell there was a limited number of sites that could accommodate big rigs. The site we had was paved and was easy to get into and out of and had 50 amp service. The people in the park were friendly and the staff was pleasant to deal with. We would stay again. We camped at Sully's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

A very pleasant surprise to find that this little park is very clean and very neat. The staff (one person) took great pains to ensure that we were set up even before we were allowed to pay for the site. Although over 1/2 of the park appear to be permanent residences it was so clean and neat that it took me awhile to realize it. We had the one pull in site that did not have grass or a table but we did not find that to be a problem. It was great to have safe, very close areas to walk our Lab. It was very quiet at night although I think that I did hear a train in the distance occasionally. The wildlife refuge is a very close drive and downtown is within walking distance. Although we discovered that there is very little, if any, town activity on a Sunday we felt very comfortable walking around town. The museum on the corner is a must see. We would gladly return in the future. We camped at Sully's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great place to stay while traveling. Nice to have grass right outside the door. We had no neighbors, so small spaces were no problem. Easy to find, easy in and out. Level space on asphalt, all hookups and wifi. Staff very friendly and helpful. Park is well cared for, it shows. We will be happy to stay here again. We camped at Sully's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy access with pull through spots. Only have 6 sites for overnight RV'ers and are perfect for a quick overnight stop, but a little too close to each other for a longer term stay. Good places to exercise dog along gravel road. Located right next to the Wildlife Refuge so you can take a walk and see deer and Sandhill Cranes. We camped at Sully's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
