This park has so many problems in should not be in business, the water supply has according to the bulletin handed out by the Manager coli form and is un-drinkable. The septic system collapsed and a motor home sunk into the ground causing $7,000. in damage to the motor home alone, and according to the work crew this is the third time this has happened! There are no pool or any thing else at this park and it is miles from any attractions. This seams to be a long term park for low income people. We camped at The Lone Wolf Colony in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for six weeks and enjoyed it very much. Very friendly and very clean. About 70% of spaces are permanent campers. It was very quiet. Propane available on site. Our monthly rate was $400. We aren't towing a vehicle and the only negative thing was that it's a two-mile walk to the grocery store. That said, we had plenty of offers for rides. We camped at The Lone Wolf Colony in a Motorhome.

We weren’t sure what we were going to find when we decided to try this park. On previous trips through this area we had stayed at other parks, both private and county, and found them to be difficult to get to or way to noisy or run down. We were pleasantly surprised and very happy with our stay at the Lone Wolf Colony. We didn’t have reservations but the office staff was very friendly and anxious to make our stay comfortable. We parked in the B section, which is mostly permanent residents, and the sites are large with easy access. The park is clean and well cared for and many of the permanent residents have their sites fixed up very nicely. There is also another area for short timers which was all dirt but with nice trees and lots of space and since it was nicely graded it appears that these sites are level. Although we camped here only 3 nights, we were given a vacant spot in the B section. One thing we learned is that the Lone Wolf Colony is a nonprofit organization which is owned and operated by retired telephone company employees and volunteers. In my opinion, one of the reasons this park is so well cared for is because these folks take great pride in their organization. Showers, bathrooms, laundry room and clubhouse were all very clean and in good condition. We had good Verizon broadband and cell service in this area. We camped at The Lone Wolf Colony in a Fifth Wheel.
