Very nice quiet park on the outskirts east of town. Great concrete sites with grass between sites, all FHU's. Each site has a picnic table. The sites are a little short for big rigs and trucks for parking. Sites were level. The whole park was nicely manicured with a small pool and hot tub. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. Not to be missed is the California Fruit Depot, wonderful cara cara oranges, dates etc. also, the best Mexican food is at La Costa Marisco's, wonderful. We camped at A Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park and great for a couple days if you are in the area. My biggest complaint is with the office staff, I haven't been greeted so poorly in a long time. The two women in the office really don't seem to like their jobs and I would suggest they seek other employment. The park itself is very nice, clean level concrete pads, especially the area for transient tenants. Some of the trees in these sites are getting a little too large, I needed to scrape along an evergreen to get into my site, no damage, just would prefer not to need to do that. Some of the permanent sites are more than a little cluttered. We camped at A Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park and would come back again. The park water faucet was leaking as soon as I turned it on. The maintenance man was here within minutes of being told about the water leak. Unlike other reviewers, the noise didn't bother us. It was more like "white noise" and we got the best night's sleep we've gotten in a while. We camped at A Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a well-kept campground with roads and grass and a large area with trees for walking dogs. It is near a train. There were lots of fancy large rigs there. We camped at A Country RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Very nice RV park right off Hwy 58. We thought it might be noisy but it wasn't bad at all. We were there on a weekend and noticed a little more noise on Monday morning. The park is immaculately clean. Sites are concrete. They have cable and WIFI at each site. All utilities worked well. Nice pet walk area. Very easy on and off the highway. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at A Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a little problem checking in, even though we had a confirmed reservation, they told us they were full. After some back and forth between the manager and office clerk, they found us a site. We found the interior roads are asphalt and the sites were concrete. All the connections were together, making it easy to get connected. Cable TV and satellite TV worked well. Wi-fi worked well, until it rained. Our AT&T cell phones and hotspots worked well. The park has easy on and off access to the freeway, so there is some road noise. We camped at A Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you like trains or engineering marvels, go see the Tehachapi Loop, where you can see trains cross over themselves. Buck Owens Crystal Palace is also there.

This park is very nice and conveniently located to Highway 58. We were looking for a quieter park for an overnight stay and found this park fit the bill. Although, you get some freeway noise as you do for most parks in the area. We didn't hear as much street noise from the neighborhood and loud train horns. The sites are well spaced, concrete with grass in between, and very level. We didn't have to detach our toad. There are quite a few permanent residents as you find in most parks but their sites were very well kept. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at A Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The park was easy to locate and access is very good from the freeway. Check in was quick, easy and informative. Parameter roads are paved and wide. Very big rig accessible. The pads are level concrete and wide enough to accommodate our opposing slides and long enough so that we did not have to disconnect the towed. Services were to the left rear and easily accessible. Cable TV available "without the box". Our only complaint was the Wifi was very spotty. We ended up using our Mifi. This is a very large park. There are a number of permanents but all sites seemed to be neat and tidy. There was some city noise but that is to be expected. It is an urban park. We paid $36.00/ night and feel we received good value. We will return. We camped at A Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Truly a touch of class campground. Extremely easy on/off CA 58 on the east side of Bakersfield. Friendly staff. Secure, gated campground. Sites were concrete pads. Very clean environment. Very easy to navigate. Definitely will stay here again. We camped at A Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Wal-Mart within short driving distance, but get directions from staff. I decided to trust my own navigational skills and ended up going 10 miles+ out of the way when it should have been a five-minute driver.

We always stop here heading to AZ or NV. HWY 58 over the Tehacapi Pass is a easy drive. About 1/4 mile from highway with No noise. Sites(Pull Through) are long enough so you don't have to disconnect. Dog friendly, nice grassy area. Pool and little store. Will be back. We camped at A Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park. Read as: Clean, with easy to navigate streets and sites, fairly new look to it. Our only problem was that it was 106 degrees outside and there was not much shade on our site. Problem solved... Max A/C, hit the pool. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area again and needed a place to park for the night. We camped at A Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
