Get reservations, as park was full when we got there. Easy on-off from Hwy-58, if heading East afterwards, next exit has a Shell gas station. Easy and fast check-in, folks were polite and informative. Long pull-thru gravel site, level pad, picnic table. Cable TV; Wi-Fi was slow due to heavy usage. Quiet at night, a few distant trains were no problem. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Had a flat, level, pull through spot. The spot was long enough that I did not have to unhook the truck. Cable TV and Wi-Fi was excellent. One of the great things about this time of year is that you can pick oranges in the park. We were supplied an orange picker on a pole so we could each oranges high on the trees. Delicious oranges. Great place to stop. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Excellent place to stay overnight or longer right off Highway 58. January is orange time. Pick all you want at your site or 100's of other trees! Level long gravel pull through 30/50 amp full hookup sites. Good wifi and cable. Pool and activity center along with small GRASS dog park. Nice people. Would stay here again. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here two times, with great satisfaction! The restrooms and showers and laundry rooms are spotless. There are doggie poop stations everywhere, with several dog play areas. The nice wide spots made it easy to come and go. We had a medical emergency, and had to stay longer for recuperation. The Mother Daughter management team could not have been more gracious. The Daughter even remembered us a week later when we came back through. Free coffee and donuts every morning. Free oranges for pick your own in the winter. There was good cable and wifi excellent. This place was perfect in every way. Thank you Orange Grove! We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great shower area! The showers were only three, but super large, hot and great after a long day driving. Bathrooms clean neat secure (coded). Park is clean, quiet and loaded with orange trees. Oranges top it off. Pick and eat is encouraged. Remember to get one of the cages that help pick from the top of the trees. They are right outside office. Pool is small but nice. We didn't take advantage of the clubhouse. Looked nice though. Clean and secure. Fitness room good too. Sites are large and roomy. A GREAT place to rest your head. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We enjoy coming to this park. The sites are gravel and the roads are cement and paved. All services work fine and spaced in the middle of the sites. The sites are all nicely spaced and long. It is located in an orange grove and you can pick fruit when in season. It is a fast and easy overnight. We like to stay a few days it is nice place to relax and spend a few days on our trips. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is our go to park when we travel thru the Bakersfield area on our way south or north and stay the night. Never a disappointment and always an enjoyable stay. The oranges were ripe and ready to pick. We stay in the south side section as there is less noise from traffic on Hwy 58, which by the way is really not that noticeable in the north section. We just like the south section as the sites just seem to be a bit more "roomy". Everything is clean and the main clubhouse has to be seen to be believed as it is like being in a large and cozy mountain cabin the way it has been decorated. Every space we have stayed in over the years has been level and the jacks have only been lowered for stability. Spotless restrooms, as is the rest of the park. Very friendly staff and check in is quick and easy. Propane is available on site. Just a great stop over or longer stay park with everything going for it. Fresh coffee and donuts in the morning are great also. Not really a destination park for us but it is always full up or close to full up when we have stayed there. We stayed there twice on this recent trip........... We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

As indicated in past reviews, this park is about 8 miles east of Bakersfield on Hwy 58. If you intended to stay more than a day or three you would need to drive a ways for groceries, etc. as it is not close to grocery stores, etc. There is a nice fruit stand (building actually) next store that is within walking distance however that is well worth checking out..........

Great for overnight or longer if desired. Easy on and off Hwy 58. Long sites so no need to unhook. Nice that the monthly rentals are in one area and short stays in another. Orange trees at every site and they were delicious. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.

We love this park-3rd year. Stayed 3 1/2 weeks this year. Park is so clean and well kept. Bathrooms and laundry immaculate and very reasonably priced. Large, level sites to accommodate even the biggest rig. Oranges, when ripe are delicious. A planned get together at park was disrupted by weather and the great staff moved us to their beautiful clubhouse; kitchen, bar, poolroom loft, tv etc.. Unfortunate surprise this year limits the monthly rate being available to only a small 4 lane section of park, so it cost nearly twice as much as in the past. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Friendly staff, quick check in. Clean showers and restrooms. Gravel sites, paved streets. Site not quite level but only took one block. Orange trees all around and during season you can pick oranges for your own use. Park is clean and neat and well kept. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

It's been quite some time since we've stayed at Orange Grove RV. I'd forgotten just how spacious the sites are & how beautiful of a park (considering its California desert location) it is. Bakersfield has a couple of pretty nice parks. We often prefer to stay in town and this park is a little ways out. This trip I wanted to be able to leave the dinghy hooked up (which can be a problem at the in town parks we use) and be able to be as close to the Tehachapi summit as possible due to the prediction of strong winds. Our site was everything I needed. Very friendly young lady checked us in. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.

Have stayed here several times in the past for overnight stays. Good park for that. Sites are too close together-neighbors sewer is a few feet from your slide out. Plenty of room in the pull thrus to avoid unhooking tow car. Here last week (first week in Oct.) and the pool was ice cold. Temp outside was in 90's but pool was not heated. Was looking forward to a swim after a 6 hour drive. Very disappointing We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.

Our only complaint about the park is that they do not space the rigs as they come in. With over 200 spaces they should at least have one space between you and your neighbor. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
