Campground is closed, new houses are being built in its place, very sad. - rroch

This is basically five pull-through spots in front of a permanent mobile home park. But the good news is that it is right off the I-210 freeway so it is a perfect over night stop off if driving between Palm Desert and Northern California. I called ahead and the lady asked me to put $20 cash in the mail slot of her door if I came late. When I left early in the morning, two other rigs had pulled in. You can not even put out slides as the spaces are that tight. I was able to pick up some Wi-Fi from a neighbor and quite a few TV stations came in via antenna because of being so close to Los Angeles. It was a bit noisy and absolutely no ambiance, but for a very reasonable stop-off with electric, we found it very convenient. - WinnebagoTraveler

Best location! Right next to LAX! Beachfront! 50 amp full hookup. Multimillion dollar view and access to beach. Level site. If you call you will see they actually have 5 45ft. sites, although they don't seem longer than the other ones in person. Our 43ft. coach barely barely fits in a 45ft. site but I could see how we could have squeezed in another 2 feet maybe:-) The back row is actually the best during winter because you have no one behind you except for extra parking spaces:-) They pile a high sand berm during winter that can only be looked over by the tiered back row too:-) Traffic is terrible, it took us 4.5 hours to get out of Los Angeles towards Vegas. - univmd

Great place to stay if in the L.A. area. We were visiting our son and his family in Santa Monica, which was only a 20 minute drive away. This RV park is literally right on the beach at the Pacific Ocean. Because of its great location it is extremely popular so reservations are a must. You can only make reservations 90 days or less before arrival, so I recommend if possible calling in exactly 90 days ahead. The sites are level, and if possible, I suggest asking for the front row which is right on the beach itself. Sites are VERY close together. My neighbor, when backing in, asked politely if I could roll in my awning a bit since he did not think he could open his slide out without hitting my awning. Very child friendly place, and pet friendly as well with two dog areas (small but adequate for dogs to do their business). Very helpful and friendly staff at the office. If you expect visitors, you need to get a guest parking pass, which they only provide in very limited numbers so you need to go to the office first thing the morning of the visit and buy a pass ($7). The park tended to be a bit noisy with virtually every site filled and many playing music all day long. This park is right next to the airport, so you do hear planes taking off all day and night, but with the a/c running in the RV, this was not a problem. But this RV park is a real find and I would absolutely come back here if visiting L.A. in the future. - David642
Sep 2018 - $60.00
The view of the Pacific ocean is awesome. Beautiful sunsets on the water. The park itself is well maintained, with no frills. Parking our tow was a challenge on Fri and Sat but available along the back row against the wall. There are two fenced dog parks that is all sand. Neighbors are close and folks honored quiet times. Rules such as no bicycle riding in the park is not enforced. Also many walkers and bicycle folks from the outside wander in during the day. At night security is there to ensure nothing gets out of control. - Peter G
Aug 2018 - $65.00
The swimming pool, spa, showers very nice. The workers are committed to making your stay great. My only complaint is the site sizes are very small and very tight putting the RV in. But I will recomend this place. - Methoes11
Jun 2018 - $69.00
We stayed two nights in space 50. The park is very clean and well maintained. Our site was dirt but it was raked and clean when we checked in. The slope on the site was sufficient to require me to use 6" of wood blocks on the front to get my rig level. It was deep enough to allow plenty of space for the toad in front. There is a "Dog Run", but it's too small for actually playing with your dog. You can take them off leash, but it's only a fenced yard with astro turf all over. They don't want you walking your dog on the nice grassy area in the central portion, so you have to walk them on the asphalt roadways. There is a nice park area a short walk away and the Aquarium of the Pacific is about 15 minutes walking distance. Will stay here again when we bring our grandson to visit the museums and aquarium. - Scott Baker
Jun 2018 - $62.00
We stayed here while attending a conference at the convention center. It's about a 20 minute walk. It's a beautiful park and the road noise wasn't much of an issue. No complaints. - Brad & Angela
Aug 2016 - $33.00
Rate is for monthly stay. Most people are here for work. Mostly monthly tenants. Kept up really well. Office staff are great. VERY tight spaces. Most spaces you will have to get your neighbor to move there cars/trucks to get it. - Spantz
Nov 2013 - $30.00
This is a glorified parking lot next to a mobile home park with 46 marked spots, two of which are occupied by the office and a small mobile home, so there are only 44 sites available for RVs. Due to a recent ownership change, this park is not allowing any RVs older than 2000. The only thing this park has going for it is that it is the only park in the area. If you want to use the mobile home park's pool facilities, it costs $50 (non refundable). The management recently trimmed the trees located around the edge of the park back to bare branches, so there is no more shade in the park. I paid the monthly rate. The dog area is a small strip of grass in the back, and maneuvering a big rig in the park is possible, but difficult. No tents or anything like them (e.g., easy-up) allowed. The only reason I would go back here is because I need to be in the area for a family emergency. - Hunterman
Sep 2006 - $40.00
Great, clean park. Management was exceptional. Sites are close together, and there is really no area for pets, but it's a safe, nice park. Usually a waiting list. - rollngstonz
Oct 2018 - $35.00
Free laundry. Spacious sites. Friendly staff. Military only. - ezgator
Apr 2018 - $35.00
Beautiful park nicely situated near many LA attractions. Sites were well-spaced and clean. The campground was quiet during the evenings. We appreciated the free laundry and ice. We didn't use the bathrooms, but they appeared clean and heard no complaints. There is a nice walking path near the campground. If you carry firearms, tell the gate guard, and they will coordinate with the armory to store your weapon and ammo upon entry. It will need to be stored in a California-approved locked gun box, of which there are many that comply. If not CA-approved, they may not store the weapon. Only 30 minutes from Disneyland, and close numerous beaches, including Sunset, Huntington, and Seal. Would definitely stay here again! - RVerFamily
Dec 2017 - $20.00
Very quiet park with green space beside each space. The concrete pad was pretty large and there was a picnic table to enjoy outside activities. The showers were clean. Laundry washer and dryers were free. It was a nice place, close to the Disney Park and felt safe. - LTC & MS
Jun 2017 - $70.00
We chose this park because of it being close to Disneyland. There is a shuttle that stops next door but Disneyland is an easy walk of about a half mile. We had an extra wide back in spot and were able to have room on one side to have our awning out with a picnic table and room for two vehicles on the other. The hook ups are at the back of the site so I had to use extensions for the water and sewer. Could connect to WiFi the first day but not the rest of the days. We were also able to see the fireworks from our RV. The bathrooms/shower are outdated but clean and could use a remodel. The pool looked nice but we did not use it. - CoastCamper
Jul 2015 - $53.00
Used it to park our tent trailer while we visited Disney. Was okay, but didn't stay there really, just parked and slept.
Had electricity, and bathrooms seemed taken care of. Clean park. - Gimmeanathlon
Jun 2015 - $53.00
When you enter the park you think "looks great and green", that quickly changes into "this is bad". The service is the worst you can imagine. Personal activities are more important than customers, excuse me? They let me wait until they had discussed with a friend whether or not they would join the drinking party that evening. No smiles, no kindness, very bad attitude!
The restrooms and showers are outdated. The campsites have different sizes and it is up to the staff if you get a great spot with grass and a picnic table or if your windows are 2 inch apart of your neighbors.
A park can be made as good looking as you want, when the service you get is not good, it does not matter - Palazzo fan
Jan 2014 - $59.00
Another one bites the dust. Web site says closing for renovations February 2, 2014. Arrived last night and employees are all fired as of that date. Property has been sold to Disney for an employee parking lot. Enjoying our last stay at this great park. Nice pool and hot tub. Has a game room; the kids like the vending machines. Only a few RVs still here. Disney nightly Fireworks are awesome, framed by palm trees. - Pumpman2
Oct 2013 - $45.00
First, we would definitely return to this park again, but there were some surprises. First, our campsite was not level, not a big problem by any means, but was surprised we had to pull out the levelers. The biggest disappointment was the Wi-Fi that was non-existent in the RV. If you need to have Wi-Fi inside your RV then this may not be the place for you. In today's world there is absolutely no reason not to have working Wi-Fi, if you advertise it. But the hot tub was great after a day walking in Disney. - shayob
Oct 2013 - $56.00
Great location for Disneyland; about a half mile walk or pick up the $5/day shuttle. Not a great place to just hang out around your campsite. Sites are pretty close together. "Resort" is just a large concrete parking lot with strips of grass between sites. There are two small fenced areas for dogs, not enough room to exercise a large dog. Pretty quiet and safe considering its located at the intersection of two major streets (Ball & Harbor). Nice pool area. - Lizzy P
