Stayed here one night passing through on I-10. Used to be a KOA 'Resort' but now a Good Sam Park with some age, but well run. Right on Colorado River. We agree with review from Nov. 2015. Uses a non-digital cable system that requires a converter box that can be mounted outside at the cable hookup place - takes some time to get it working. Lots of stored RVs, but active sites were level. Showers were older but the water flow very high and plenty of it - great shower. Nice hostess and her husband. Cold and windy our night there - so no info on activities. We camped at Riviera RV Resort and Marina (Former KOA) in a Motorhome.

We had a large pull through which accommodated our 36 foot fifth wheel and truck. Site was level with some grass and dirt. Nice fenced dog park in area away from main Park. Good walking along River. Verizon service was good. No cable available as office was closed. Per sign on door cable available only during office hours. We were able to pick up some channels with antenna. We camped at Riviera RV Resort and Marina (Former KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We stayed for an overnight on a way to another destination. It was nice to have the river to look at in a desert environment breeze. We would stay here again[

Right next door to the interstate. Probably a good resort at one time but in need of some TLC. Easy Check in and taken to site which was in an open grassy lot with no shade and very unlevel with very old hook ups. Electric box next to us had back open with exposed wires and weeds growing in it. Place had plenty of empty sites with shade and yet we get put in open field with 105 degree temperature. Bathrooms and showers filthy dirty in need of a good cleaning. Only positive I found was cable and Wi-Fi. I would not recommend this place; find the next one.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Nice campground with both back in and pull-through sites. Check-in was easy and quick then we were guided to our site. Our site was all grass and level. As it was over 100 degrees we used their inviting and extremely clean pool. Park was very clean and fairly quiet. It is near the interstate but it is more like white noise than traffic noise. Campground is right on the Colorado River with an extremely large boat ramp. A few long term campers but their sites were clean and uncluttered. We camped at Riviera RV Resort and Marina (Former KOA) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Do not buy fuel in Blythe...it is very expensive (even for California).

Located right off the freeway which was great. This campground is located directly on the Colorado River. Beautiful surroundings. Pool, boat rental, pet play area which was huge and grassy. Sites are grass and a little uneven but well maintained. The roads are paved. We were escorted to our pull thru site after a quick check in. WiFi was one of the better I've found. We would stay here again. We camped at Riviera RV Resort and Marina (Former KOA) in a Motorhome.

Stayed 1 night. Lovely grass sites with a picnic table. Quiet. Washrooms are somewhat dated but they are clean. Campground is located next to the river. Used to be affiliated with KOA, but is now is with Good Sam's. We would stay here again. We camped at Riviera RV Resort and Marina (Former KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Speedy check-in and help was offered to back up into the camp site. Paved roads and level, grassy, no shade sites. A few sites available next to the river. Situated 100 yards south of the 10, unfortunately. Highway sound hearable all day and especially at night when the wind dies down. Campground, pool, hot tub and restrooms are clean. Small store on campground with some food items, drinks and RV spare parts. For watching TV, you get a free digital box during your stay. Channels are of perfect quality!

The free WiFi reception is good. Uninterrupted signal and fair speed. We camped at Riviera RV Resort and Marina (Former KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Great overnight spot between Phoenix & LA. Nice long level pull-thru sites with grass. Good turning radius throughout park. Good 50 amps. Personnel was friendly and park is clean. Some freeway noise. We camped at Riviera RV Resort and Marina (Former KOA) in a Motorhome.

Good Sam rate. Nice friendly check-in. Led to site. Grass site not level, but was an easy adjustment with wheel shims. 50 amp didn't work so used the site's pedestal next to me to hook up, as it was over 100*F. Wi-Fi was strong and solid. Exiting was confusing as there was no signage and they have tire spike strips that aren't functional. You actually drive over them to exit! We felt a bit pricey for the age and overall looks of the park. Doubtful we would stay again, but maybe. We camped at Riviera RV Resort and Marina (Former KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Not sure if this rate includes a discount. Check in person did not mention. Staff very friendly. Very hot Saturday so not real crowded park. Bathrooms clean. Strong shower and good hot water. Great pool area. Perfect temperature! Nice beach on the river. WiFi was one of the strongest we have had. Lots of cable TV offerings. Grassy sites but level. It looks like it could be tight if the park got full. We camped at Riviera RV Resort and Marina (Former KOA) in a Motorhome.

We have stayed in the Park en-route to Phoenix the last four years. I have always liked the park and staff. I was pleasantly surprised how nicely the park has been fixed up. The grass pull through sites were level. The grass was well maintained. Almost all the trashy full time rigs are gone. The landscaping of Dog Island and the campground has dramatically improved. WI-FI was free and a reasonable speed. Cable had 70 plus channels and was clear. We camped at Riviera RV Resort and Marina (Former KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has grass sites and is on the Colorado River. We had a back-in site right on the river. The park is well kept, people are friendly. They have an awesome dog park-- in addition to a fenced in, grass, shaded off-leash area, there is a whole island devoted to walking pets (on leash). They only draw-back to the park is its proximity to US 10 and a overhead gas line that crosses the river at the RV park. However, the park itself were so nice, it was really not an issue. We plan to come back next year and spend a week. It has a beach on the river, a boat ramp, and a lagoon where personal watercraft came in to fuel as well as propane filling station. We camped at Riviera RV Resort and Marina (Former KOA) in a Travel Trailer.

Great overnight spot! Long pull-through sites, good electric, nice personnel. A little noisy because of I-10, but right along the river. It is definitely the best place to stay in this area. We have come back here several times. We camped at Riviera RV Resort and Marina (Former KOA) in a Motorhome.

Stayed here one night on our way into California. It is OK for a one nighter. Paved roads, but grass/dirt parking for the coach. Traffic noise from I-10 is constant and loud. You are only 50-100 yards off the interstate. There is river access, and a lovely high pressure gas line going over the river. We camped at Riviera RV Resort and Marina (Former KOA) in a Motorhome.

At best, this place is okay for an overnight stay. The place was about ¾ full during our 1 night stay. Of the occupants at the time, I’d say 75% were extended stay or long term RV’ers with lots of overgrowth underneath the RV’s. The place has all of the amenities i.e. FHU, cable, pool, Wi-Fi, store, etc., as well as watercraft access to the Colorado River. The staff at check-in was very nice and accommodating. Aesthetically, it’s not very relaxing or pleasing to the eye as it’s an older KOA Kampground with the run-of-the-mill layout and in a poor location. Interstate 10 hovers right next to the campground and the traffic is heard all day and night. In fact, it’s so close you can read the logos and company names on the tractor/trailers that rumble past! Not a peaceful environment for a good nights sleep! Most folks think of a “resort” as an upscale and relaxing environment; unfortunately, I can’t say there was anything relaxing about this place. We would likely not stay here again. We camped at Riviera RV Resort and Marina (Former KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.
