See comments from October 2015, Same old problems and now no cable or Wi-Fi. Thought I would give it another try since it was under new owner ship but the place is still run down and full of old campers. Looks like they cater to the river people. For the price STAY AWAY and find another one. We camped at The Cove RV Resort (formerly Riviera RV Resort and Marina) in a Motorhome.

This RV Park is a very nice park located on the Colorado River just off Interstate 10, so there is a lot of truck traffic resulting in highway noise. The spacious sites are grass with a picnic table and cable TV which requires the use of a free cable box. They have a nice pool and a spa. Their rec room has pool tables, foosball tables and they offer a free pancake & sausage breakfast on Sat. We were there for the annual Bluegrass festival in Blythe. One day we drove over to Quartzsite about 18 miles for the RV Tent Sale, but there is not much else to see or do in Blythe. We camped at The Cove RV Resort (formerly Riviera RV Resort and Marina) in a Motorhome.

Stayed one night on our way west. Coming from the east, getting to the park is a little tricky. You have to go to the first west exit, then come back east to get to the park. This is because it is directly south of the California checkpoint. Coming from the west is a direct shot. I-10 noise may be a problem for light sleepers, but with our windows shut, we had no problem. The staff is very welcoming and were responsive when we had an issue with the power pedestal (reverse polarity on the 30 amp side). It had 30/50 amp plugs on the other side which worked ok. Roads are wide with plenty of room between sites. Grass i between sites, but was dormant this time if year. There is also a large/wide boat ramp to the Colorado river. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at The Cove RV Resort (formerly Riviera RV Resort and Marina) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

As noted earlier, coming from the east is tricky, but trust the GPS. You have to do about 2 miles along the frontage road to get back on I-10 west.

I thought the nightly rate was a little high for this park. It is well maintained and all services except cable were very good. Cable requires a separate box to set up and for a two night stay it's not worth the hassle. The office and maintenance personnel were very good. I just think the rate was $10 to $15 a night too high. We've stayed here for years but this last time will be our last time. This new ownership rate of $55 (especially in the hot summer) for a site here is absolutely highway robbery. No Good Sam discount offered either. The electric pedestals are very )old and need to be replaced. Our surge guard continually warned us that the power may not have been reliable as it flashed its warning light. The wifi never did work for us, in spite of asking them twice for help. Staff was helpful, immediately finding us a new site when the original site assigned to us had electrical problems. The new site was quite large and gave our 50 lb. dog plenty of room to roam. Full timers kept their sites neat and clean, which always makes a place look better. Would stay here again if in the area. Would have given this park a 10 if it wasn't right beside the interstate. That doesn't bother me, but some don't care for the noise. The staff is friendly and helpful. Guide to site. Many sites are right beside the Colorado River. The handful of full-time residents keep their rigs and spaces neat and clean. Spacious, all grass sites; several have a concrete patio. We definitely would stay here again. We camped at The Cove RV Resort (formerly Riviera RV Resort and Marina) in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is right next to interstate so there is some highway noise, but not too loud. Manager was very good and let us move after the first sight she assigned had something wrong with the electric and kept tripping our surge protector. Nice wide paved roads with ample room in each sight. Advertised wifi, but was so weak and slow I went to Mcdonalds everyday to keep up. Picked this park because the map on their sight showed a good sized grass of leash dog area. When we got there, the dog area was out on a peninsula and a quarter of the size the map showed. live and learn. They have a large area that would make a great dog park by the basketball courts, but it is just being wasted. Park would be a 9 or 10 if the dog park was there, bigger, and the wifi worked. Great location, on the river. Very clean, level sites, good power, good water, cable digital TV available. Escort to site with help setting up offered freely. Very safe location, very clean. I understand the new owners are going to make upgrades starting with the posts. Nice pool. We camped at The Cove RV Resort (formerly Riviera RV Resort and Marina) in a Motorhome.

Okay for overnight, would not stay any extended time as too much highway noise. It is right alongside I-10. We arrived after dark and the person on duty led us to our sight. Sight was not real level, and was a bit muddy from recent rain. Sites quite close together. Had to get a special cable box for the TV. We've been here a few times and will go back. We like that it's freeway close, but it's REALLY freeway close. Some nights it was hard to sleep with all the loud motorcycles and trucks so close. It's not fancy at all, your basic campground. Quite a few people come for the summer, so a lot of camaraderie among them.

We do really like that they have a GREAT dog run, and are very dog friendly and easy going. We could walk our lab to the nearby beach and she could be off leash chasing the ball into the water for hours.

They have rules and enforce the important ones when necessary, but also use common sense, which is great. Trash was overflowing Monday when we left and grass needed to be mowed, though we did check in an hour early, and they came later to mow, wish they had mowed a little sooner. (No charge for the hour early, which was appreciated by us.)

One hint - The lake is low almost every Friday, so don't count on launching a boat or Jetski on a Friday. By Saturday it's all good. (This is not controlled by the Riveria, just how the river rights go.) Oh, and extra long spots in the pull thrus! Wow!! We camped at The Cove RV Resort (formerly Riviera RV Resort and Marina) in a Motorhome.

We got there late--after closing - but someone met us at the front and led us to our campsite. Site was pretty, on grass and very large. Park is located on the Colorado River. We walked down to the water and waded in--beautiful, clear river! We camped at The Cove RV Resort (formerly Riviera RV Resort and Marina) in a Motorhome.

This is a good place for a stop over, especially if length of space is important. We have a 37' fifth wheel, and no problem pulling into a pull through with truck parked in front, plenty of room left. No concrete pads, but there is somewhat of lawn.
Located on the Colorado River with boat ramp, am sure it could get busy here during summer, weekends and holidays-but employees seem friendly and helpful. Many long term residents scattered throughout park.
Did not use tv, required special equipment from office, but the wifi worked very well and was included in price.
We were in section H-spot 09, which definitely picked up noise from freeway, but did not bother us-we were so tired! There are other pull-thrus on the other end of park which might be good if you are sensitive to road noise.
Have stayed here many times on our way to/from Tucson, and will continue to do so (as long as it stays the way it is now), as it is easy on/off right by the Blythe Agriculture Inspection Station. Although road is a little rough after new off ramp when going west-no fault of the park, but thought I would mention it for information only. We camped at The Cove RV Resort (formerly Riviera RV Resort and Marina) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Town with many restaurants and amenities to the west a couple of miles.
Office at park has store with a good selection of items.
Rough road after new off ramp when traveling towards the west before you reach rv park.
Cheap gas east of Blythe at Texaco in Ehrenberg, Arizona.

This park is on the Colorado river which is a perfect location for boaters, jet skiers, etc.. At 45.00 a day, I expected the grounds and restroom/shower area to be clean. Cigarette butts were all over our camp site and the restrooms were in need of cleaning, repair and updating. In reading the park rules, they are very strict about 10:00 PM quiet time although our neighbors across the road partied hardy until 11:30PM. Be sure to consult your Good Sam book for directions as the city changed the street name and many RV'ers get lost using their GPS. Helpful folks in the office. They will hook up a cable box for you, otherwise there is no TV reception. We camped at The Cove RV Resort (formerly Riviera RV Resort and Marina) in a Fifth Wheel.
