Very mixed reactions to this R V Park. We were to spend one night in site 38 then told we had to move to 28. I asked the office to call the people that were scheduled for 38. I was told they didn't do that sense they paid in advance. we moved to 28, 38 sat open for the balance of our visit. Our freezer quit working during our stay so I asked for a partial refund or even a credit for future visits as we had to leave 2 days early. They said they would check with the manager and get back to me. I have not heard a word. As for the park, it is probably the best in the area. Nice views of the harbor but there was almost no boating activity sense the winds were very strong. Great restaurant at the entrance to the park. We camped at Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you had a water site with utilities i'd Rate this place higher. We didn't. Basically a gravel lot next to a marina. We were parked back to back with our neighbor. Bodega Bay nice area. I'd probably stay at state or county park next time. Personnel here nice. Verizon works well. Their cable marginal. We camped at Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park is located right on the water, next to marina. Lots are gravel. It has cable TV, but it did not work in my site, had to run longer cable to adjoining site and use a splitter. The park is supposed to be updated soon. It does have AT&T cell service. You have to go near the office to use the wifi, and it is a little spotty. We camped at Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here several times in the past. It has different managers than last time but they are really great. We reserved the last site available in the park. There was ample room for motorhome and our towed vehicle. They are so friendly and tried to see if there's another spot that I might like better but none were available. Site was super level which is very important for our motorhome would highly recommend this if in the area. Close to everything. We camped at Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park in a Motorhome.

We will go back. Not necessarily because of the RV park, but because of the things to do in the area. The location is great. The park is pretty bare minimum. The sites are small without any privacy shrubs. You will see your neighbor's hook-ups in your seating area and hear their conversations but if you can live with that, not a bad place. We liked the size of the park, which is pretty small and the fact that you can take some nice walks, even to a couple of restaurants, and can sit in the sunshine, watch the boats feel the feeling of a marina and enjoy staring at the water (if you have a water view.) We like the location. We camped at Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park is right on Bodega Bay with full hookups and you can have a campfire! Lots are spacious with some shade. Site surface is gravel and features a fire ring and picnic table.

Small RV Park on marina; park is entirely paved, little to no privacy landscaping. Mostly exposed sites, but there are a few at margin of property against embankment. We had an end site w/ unobstructed view of Bay and marina; nice. Sites have fire ring and picnic table. Wind comes up in afternoon -- plan for it! Very clean shower/restrooms. Persistent sound of foghorn in distance. We camped at Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We had 6 nights scheduled... We had plans to stay for 2 nights in #45, dry, and 4 nights in #11, full hook-ups. This is what was available. The first 2 nights were great, but when we went to go into spot 11 was absolutely ridiculous.. It was so tight you could not at all fit in this spot. The clearance was not even 8 ft. You could of fit a smaller Rv, but ours is 34ft class A. The road was so tight and right alongside the road was a brick wall they placed to make it look better, so you had no way to pull up and back in. Not only the width was terrible, but everyone had to park their cars half on the road which made it even tighter. The fire ring used to be brick, but now it's all broke down from where People had run into it. By no means am I a visitor in the area, I am a local and have been camping here for years, but thought I would try this Rv park. I asked my friends, who own a business in Bodega, and said no one that size could fit in that spot... I went to the see the officer worker to explain to her that we could not fit and see if we could just stay in spot #45. The older lady in the office rolled her eyes and said you can't fit, as she laughed while rolling her eyes. We were told that they would settle up on the price difference later. The next day I went to the office and said we would be leaving 2 days early for family emergency. She rolled her eyes again and said no we don't give refunds with such a short notice. I figured that was fine I didn't even care at this point, but she would see if they could give me back the difference which was around 15.00/per night from dry to hook-up. I am sure I won't hear back from that older lady, but her attitude and professionalism really was bad. I cannot believe their customer service flat out sucks.. I know customer service because I work in a leadership position in a major hospital in the area. If people treat customers this bad you will not come back again. We camped at Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park in a Motorhome.

The best place for fish and ships is the Boathouse. I loved their clam chowder, also. The prices are cheap with great taste.

RV park is part of the marina, and the restrooms and showers have no locks so they are used by transients staying on the pier overnight. Sites were level and it is a good location if you want to be on the water. Some nice drives to Bodega Head and great seafood, crabs and clam chowder, at Spud Point Crab House. Sites on the water are reserved early, but even in the second row you have a nice view of the harbor. We would probably stay at another park next time. Pros: Harbor/Bay (not the ocean) view from waterfront sites; Cable TV; can have a real camp fire; 5 min drive to Bodega Head (cliff scenic area); Sunday Farmer's market within 5 min drive. Cons: Hard to find off of roads not made for RVs & situated at the bottom of a cliff. Tight, gravel spaces. Effectively no wifi at all (couldn’t even get it near the office)--completely unacceptable! No AT&T cell service. Neighbors’ fire pit 3’ from your coach. No advertised laundry facility. Bathrooms filthy, complete with black mold on sagging ceiling tiles etc. Locals have unfettered access to everything (including bathrooms). Picnic table was decrepit. Marina docks (& many boats there) are in generally poor condition, & there's no public access to them. CG is cojoined w/a run down trailer park, complete with a burned out unit. Junk cars & boats parked nearby. Weird vibe all-around i.e. it’s run it's own way--Staff doesn’t answer the phone a lot; no dog poopie bags for multi days; seems like locals/weekenders rule the roost. Next to nothing for kids to do at the campground (or in town). Very strange town (located atop the cliff you’re camped under): No ‘main street’; No pedestrian access to anything (town doesn’t even have sidewalks); Many restaurants are not open Mon-Tues, many not open past 5-6pm; No business in town rents crab gear any longer (was at least something kids could do); No ‘normal’ grocery stores; Only diesel I saw in town was at Spud Point marina & with old fashioned pumps & being on the water there was no way I was taking a chance. Next closest diesel that I found was 30mi away. Would not come back. Way too expensive for what's offered & it’s way too far away (30mi away) from any civilization on narrow curvy roads. If not for the marina/bay I’d rate this place a ‘2’. Horrible location to visit SF from, look to Petaluma as a base for that. We camped at Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We gave it a 7 due to very dirty washrooms . We stayed a week and the same trash and stains were there for our entire stay. Otherwise a nice park but a little jammed together with gravel unlevel sites. Best in the area. Maybe that's why the rates and lack of attention to detail. No WiFi except at the office and very poor telephone reception. We camped at Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park in a Motorhome.

The rate is now $45 plus taxes; it comes to almost $50 per night for sewer, water and 50 amp electric. So, we paid $199.80 for 4 nights. No discounts at all for Good Sam, RPI, etc. No TV hookup, but we have satellite. Water pressure was over 80 lbs so I used my regulator and kept it to 55 lbs. We were in space #2 and had nice view of the harbor and was very level; just dropped jacks and did hook ups and we were good to go. You'll probably need at least 15 to 20' sewer drain hose. We used two tens to hook up. Water and electric were close. We camped at Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park in a Motorhome.
