Sep 2016 - $4.00
Three big lakes for fishing (if you have a CA license); lots of full time residents; they also have room for tenters; FHU with good electrical voltage and water quality; no cable but Wifi reception was good. They have a HUGE dog park (used to be a baseball park, which is how it is still marked on their map). Nice playground, pool, hot tub. They have rec area (but pay pool tables), laundry room. They have a little café where they cook b'fast and lunch. There are nice walking trails behind the campground. - Kerch Family
May 2015 - $14.00
While this RV Park is off of the freeways 215 & 10 with concrete driveways, it is on a railway line and the trains come through quite often. So it is somewhat noisy which is why we kept our windows closed at night and if too warn run the A/C. The sites are back-in and most have concrete pads and (worn) picnic tables. No fire pits and no cable TV so if you want satellite pick a spot clear of the trees. The other sites are sand/dirt. They have 3 small lakes for walking around and for fishing. For amenities they have a pool & spa, shuffleboard, horseshoes, a cafe and game room for TV, reading, pool, and group parties. We would stay again as it is one of our membership parks, but we would not stay for an extended period. - Michael Kibler
Mar 2013 - $14.00
This is a private membership park. The rate cited is a Coast-to-Coast member rate. Our site was a fairly level cement pad, with a good-size gravel area next to it for parking the toad and placing the picnic table we snagged from another site. The pad was not long enough for our 41' rig, so we stuck out in the road a couple feet, but that didn't present a traffic problem. The interior roads are plenty wide for navigating a big rig. The trees can present a problem for a rooftop satellite dish on many sites, but there was plenty of room to set up a tripod-mounted dish and miss the trees. The site we were put in was almost on the road. Across the road were the busiest train tracks I have ever seen (or heard). It wasn't unusual for four trains an hour to go by. Fortunately, they blew their horns quite a way down the tracks from the park, but folks who are sensitive to train noise would not be happy. We were not able to get a site in an area further from the tracks, but that could be due to the fact that it was Easter weekend and park members had the park almost full. Very good Verizon 4G data service (18 Mbps) sometimes, 3G service others. Nice big laundry with newer machines. The bath/shower rooms that were in the laundry building were outstanding. Each shower was a private individual room, with a bench and dry place to dress. Park Wi-Fi was not available at our site. We will stop there again when going through the area. - Denali

Another park that offers nothing for adult visitors. No adult swim time, no age limit for spa. Sites are so close together but people blare music so loud you can't listen to your tv or music. No presence of workers. Loud noise from the freeway. Will not return. - Lcarpen52
Mar 2017 - $1.00
We are CRA members and used this as a "just passing through" site. Pros: Nice clubhouse, hot tub hot, showers clean, good access to area. Cons: very noisy traffic from I10. Even with windows closed the noise was constant. The water faucet and sewer outlet are right beside each other, and were buried in dirt. Had to dig them out in order to access. Spaces are pull through but narrow. I did not get an escort to site but saw that others did. Worst part was a cackle of retirees constantly complaining about the activities of children and setting security on them if they went near the empty hot tub or played pool in the clubhouse. They weren't using any of those things but just delighted in showing their control. Overall a decent overnight stay if you aren't too noise sensitive. Can't imagine they sell too many memberships here. - phxchica
Apr 2016 - $10.00
The office hours are 8:00 to 4:00, so we arrived after hours. We were led to our campsite by the security person, who was very accommodating, but seemed confused where to park us. There are a lot of untrimmed trees, so scraping branches on your rig is likely. The sites are very narrow, and we were unable to put out all of our slides. The one slide that we did put out was approximately 10 inches to the slide next to us. Our neighbor on the other side of us had a torn up tent trailer, which appeared had not moved in years. Tongue of tent trailer was all rusty, and their car was not able to tow. The netting was ripped up and blankets were hanging out the end, so a blue tarp was put up to cover the bedroom area. There was a play pen set up inside of this tent trailer, with 3 little kids running around in diapers, and also 2 dogs, with dog poop not picked up all over. It was obvious that this family lived in this campground year round. We will not return as I do not want to be subjected to seeing this. Thankfully we were only there one night. - Punkybk

Jan 2018 - $37.00
This was our first stay at this county park and we were not disappointed. Nicely kept facility with spacious sites and good hookups. Located east of the city of Yucaipa in an area of rolling hills, the views from within the park are very nice Only negative for us was that we were unable to get satellite reception for news and other programming due to the many trees that block satellite reception. There are a few open sites without trees where reception would be received but the park was full up when we were there for a two day family visit. We are not big TV people by any means but we do watch the morning and evening news when traveling so this was a negative for us. Spaces are asphalt as are the interior roads and the scenery is very nice all throughout the entire park. Family friendly and no doubt a great place of kids as there is fishing and hiking, etc. and other fun things for them to do. We would stay here again as this is the best bet in in the general area.................. - BankShot
Aug 2017 - $35.00
This is a county park, campground. There are separate areas for RV', tents, and day use. Very clean well maintained with lawns and many sites have shade This is an urban park but very quiet and does a great job of separating and blocking view of nearby housing while offering great views of wild lands and mountains Park staff are knowledgeable of their facility and friendly. The park is within a few blocks of all kind of businesses, stores and restaurants There is a senior discount during the week. - Old Detective
Feb 2017 - $40.00
The park and campsite were very nice. Our site was nice and long and allowed us to park our 4Runner in front of our A frame. There are three small artificial lakes where people can fish, and families can play in warmer weather. There were lots of water fowl and other birds to watch. At night the coyotes put on quite a song-fest. Many of the surrounding mountains were snow-capped during our February stay. All in all a lovely spot.
We arrived on a Thursday night. On Friday, place filled up with people who fished and families. This is near many urban areas, so the place got busy even in February. I suspect it is packed in summer. The major downside was the bathroom/shower facilities. The one next to our site did not have electricity during our stay, hence no light at night and no hot water. We were directed to another facility which had hot water, but was far from clean and really worn out. It's too bad that an otherwise lovely spot should be marred by the shoddy bathrooms and shower maintenance and cleaning. - Walter48

My review is to put to rest the negative reviews. We toured this site for our annual family coming up the August and even during a week day the park had a number of sites occupied. All of the facility areas were clean an maintained. Restrooms were easily accessible and game room, group room were clean. Management was very helpful in assisting me to determine if this campground would fit our needs. I have to say that I was impressed and the reunion committee will be making the final decision. Hopefully they will feel the same way I do. - Susan Ollson
Sep 2016 - $10.00
Found this park online on another website. Reviews were not flattering. This park is undergoing some improvements and the staff is hard working and personable. It is a good park with easy access. There is no Wi-Fi and cell customers for Verizon and Sprint will be disappointed. T-Mobile worked great. The permanent residents are in another section of the park. The park is very laid back. There is a bar/restaurant on site open to the public and families. Will do this again. - PCH Warrior
Aug 2014 - $14.00
RPI rate. I have to say this is an interesting RV Park. If RPI had a merit system which RV parks were rated, rather than the available amenities, Oak Glen Resort would be in trouble. It appears the park is having the dollars sucked out of it, and someone is letting it go. The employees are very accommodating, friendly and treat the guest very well. The shower/restroom was clean and looked nice. The individual sites, interior roads are in extremely poor condition. Pot holes, weeds, and just an unkempt appearance throughout the park. Which is split into 2 sections, one for weekend or temporary guest and one for the permanent residents. A sign saying private road end of the resort separates the 2 parks. The Parks web site said it has 182 campsites, which most are in the private residence area, which I have to admit looked like it might be better maintained, which doesn’t say much. The web site also claims it has a restaurant, I didn’t see it or any of the buildings that could hold it didn’t look like a place I would eat at. The park is nestled in a nice mountainous area and they have a tiny village of a restaurant and kiosk, petting zoo, train and some craft stores, nice for the first time but nothing like Julian area, for those who know that area. Overall the employees were very good but I didn’t leave anything there. Wi-Fi is available at $2 per night but I kept getting knocked off and had to re-login. And as an RPI guest which I had to pay an extra $4 service fee? don't understand that. - Zgork

Jun 2017 - $64.00
Though this RV park has great potential it is not pursued. Most of the spaces are permanent residents in old RV's most appear not movable. The residents do not keep up their sites so it looks horrid. Broken down vehicles and trash (maybe personal belongings) surround most of the permanent residents sites. This is not much more than an expensive overnight stopover. There my was no picnic table at my site. Next time I am in the area I will go to a Walmart or rest area which is comparable to this RV park only free. There is no place to dump your trash. On a positive note it was quiet. - pjkoths
Oct 2016 - $36.00
Stayed here for 3 months during the winter. Roads could use some work, some tight turns; under new management, they are working on landscaping (mostly desert area). Spots are gravel with a concrete patio. There are a lot of full time residents but all were very nice. Some of the run down RV's are being weeded out (I'm sure that takes time). Our spot was up on a hill, could get windy at times. Never any issues with the laundry services. Nice pool and hot tub. Others stated they didn't feel safe, we never had an issue with anyone there or in the area. We walked our dogs all through the nearby neighborhoods without any problems at all. My husband rode his bike to the nearby Walmart and grocery store. Several families in the park with kids; had a park Halloween party that was fun. Office staff friendly and helpful. No this is not a high dollar resort, but it is a nice and safe place to stay. I worked in San Bernardino so this was a good spot for us to have as a home base. We would stay again. - LaneyC RN
Oct 2016 - $43.00
This was a very sad RV park with nearly all of the occupants also residents. The place where they put us an 'overnighter' was between 2 broken down motorhomes. One had trash, flat tires and a rusted out car and some other vehicle under a torn tarp; the other side we had a very worn trailer with 3 motorcycles, a few rusted vehicles and clutter all around. The place simply did not feel safe. We had planned to stay 3 nights but left after just one. They were very good about refunding our money. There were a lot of down and outters, tattoos, smoking, obvious drug users, etc. hanging around in the park. Other places in the park were well-maintained but we weren't put there. It was full. There was a gate key given to us to use so they are aware of security. It's just a bad area all around there. I understand there is new management trying to improve the park. We will never stay there again. - toccata

This campground is only for Elks members. The park is quiet, although it lies near the highway. The employees of the lodge are very friendly and helpful. They have 30 amps, water and wifi. The dump station is in front of the building. The key to the dump station is located in the office. Just a mile away there are supermarkets and other shops. We were happy here and would definitely come back. - Myrvisbig
Nov 2013 - $15.00
A members only park. RV parking is behind the lodge. There are many RV's in storage here (15 or so). The 5 transient spaces might be reservable with a phone call, though the Elks RV book doesn't indicate this. The book indicates a 2 week maximum stay; however, during our visit there were 3 rigs here with over a month in the same spot. We saw one other rig spend 1 night during our 5 night stay. It would appear that the lodge is flexible for whatever a person needs. Shopping is nearby. - Bucky Beaver

Lake Perris is a great park to use during the off season months as it is never overly crowded, and there are plenty of spaces to choose from, even if you don't have a reservation. All full hookup sites are right on top of each other, but dry campsites are spaced well and have lots of trees/brush between. Park staff are friendly and available. Restrooms were clean and stocked ( the park was only about 20% full). Boat rental is available though pricey. Bring your bikes as there is plenty of room to ride. Not sure what it's like here during the summer but will find out! If you like your privacy as we do, dry camping sites are for you. - LISAREAM
Jun 2010 - $45.00
We camped here on a really hot weekend in June. The temperature was over 90 degrees, but there was always a nice cool breeze and it was comfortable in the shade. The lake was nice, but since they are draining the dam 20%, you can only use the beach about 1 mile from the campground. On Thursday and Friday nights, we were basically the only campers in our section and it was very peaceful. We are registered with the State of CA as disabled and paid 1/2 price for our campsite. We visited the Orange Empire Railway on the weekend and it was a really nice experience with 2 train rides. The downside: I would not recommend camping here on a Saturday night. The majority of campers were nice family groups, but unfortunately a large gang of undesirables(about 30 people) pulled in at 11:00pm on Saturday and stayed up partying all night: loudly and honking their horn. Talked to the ranger the next day and he said we should have called 911 even though it was not an emergency. The ranger explained that calling 911 is how the system was intended to work to call for loud parties. The ranger was very apologetic for the disturbance. - mammothleslie

This campground is commonly referred to as Luiseno Campground. There are campsites with no hook-ups, just water hook-ups, and electric, water and grey water hook-ups. There is a free dump station for paid campers. You can operate generators between 10AM and 8PM. There are many things to do at this recreation area primarily centered around water activities ie; boating, swimming, fishing (catfish, trout and bluegill). There is also horseback riding and hiking trails. There is also a very nice regional Indian museum within the grounds overlooking the lake. - User1132

Easy to access from I-10. Check in was quick and informative. We were asked if we needed assistance parking our coach (we declined). We were assigned site 102 and the instructions given to access the site were perfect. The lady that looked after the check in did a great job. Parameter roads are paved/concrete. The roads are a bit narrow but we had no problem navigating. We watched large 5th Wheels and Travel Trailers being placed by the manager using a Forklift and he did a great job. Our site was totally concrete with a small area for plants between sites. There was no table or fire pit. This is an urban park so understandably, things are tight. There were a few permanent rigs but all was neat and tidy. This is a very well run operation. I would love to give it full marks but.....after parking our coach I discovered that the 30 Amp service was being used by the unit parked in 101. I walked to the office to make them aware of my problem and was immediately accosted by the manager as I walked in the door. I was asked to leave because I was bare chested (I'm male). It was pretty warm out and I was in set up mode, hardly a big deal. I checked for a notice on the door for a "No shirt, shoes" notice. Nothing in the printed rules. How rude and pom pas! - Rollin Ollens
Jan 2018 - $38.00
We had a quick two night stop here. The park has concrete driveways and site pads. There are a variety of site sizes. We had a very roomy back in space with full hookups. The bathrooms were reasonably clean and well maintained. As I recall there was no picnic table or fire pit but the site was excellent for our needs. We paid $38 per night with Good Sam discount. - Coopsecondact
