We could not stay as they said our cabover camper was too old. It would be useful if either on their website or when you call they stated their age rules as it would have saved us a long trip. There was easy access to the park, it looked very clean, sites were quite close together, very small pool, and no services within walking distance. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Truck Camper.Undo

Rate is with Good Sam discount. Sites were level with gravel. Not much space between sites, but enough for hookups and a narrow strip of grass. Some sites were shady. Reception staff was below average friendly, but did their job well. Some sites near main street experience street noise, but not much of a problem. All hookups were clean, seemed modern, and worked well. There was in fact, an almond tree at the office. Shower and toilet entry by key, which office provided upon check-in and must be returned (drop box or in office) upon departure. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Adequate park for the price. Check-in was swift enough, got some suggestions on walking distance restaurants. There a $5 deposit for a key to use restrooms and laundry, too many people driving off without returning them. Pretty close to neighbors, but we still fit with our opposing slide outs. My biggest problem is their daily watering, so much so that there is water running all over the roads in the park, leading to the park and the sidewalk outside the park. Have a hard time supporting an establishment that is so oblivious to the drought. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $43.00
Very nice park. Helpful and friendly management. Easy to pull in and out of sites. Shower had the best water pressure of any shower I have been in - ever. I would stay here again. No freeway noise. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

I have reviewed this park before but my opinion has changed from good to bad. We have stayed at this park 6-7 times and the last 2 visits were not good. The assistant manager that checked us in was the rudest that we have dealt with in a long time, she did tell us it was her last day there but no excuse for treating a guest poorly. The park was almost empty but she assigned us a site that we could not receive a satelite signal for TV because of the dense trees. Normally if we were only going to be there for one night the tv thing would not be a problem but we were going to be there for over a week so we asked to be relocated to another spot, she said NO. We sat in that site all week as the park stayed empty and could not understand why we could not be relocated it was beyond ridiculous but no other parks in the area and we were there to visit family. We tried this park again for 2 nights and again rude staff that seamed to stop caring about their guests. What the person said before about the park being over watered every day and areas of the park even appearing to be flooded is true, very disturbing considering the severe drought. We will not stay here again, would rather stay 30 miles away rather than put up with the rude attitude. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

First class operation! One of the cleanest parks I've ever seen. Very friendly host couple. Greeted us upon entry and checked on our stay each day. Their policies regarding children, pool use, rundown RVs, smoking, and pets all made for a quiet and comfortable stay. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Overall a very nice park convenient located a few miles from Transfer Flow Inc. 26 pull-through sites. Sites are gravel with grass on each side and medium sized shade trees. Good water pressure and voltage. Verizon and AT&T cellular data worked well here. We'd definitely stay here again when in town. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Nice park, easy friendly check in. Full hook ups that worked well. Wi-Fi and cable are good. Sites are a little short for a 40' and toad but we made it work. Very quiet park with many conveniences near by. Pet friendly. We will stay here again. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $35.00
The streets are paved and the sites are gravel and level. The showers are GREAT. Plenty of hot water, pressure and heat. The folks at the front desk were very friendly. It wasn't too noisy. About the only thing on the down side was the selection of channels on the TV are rather limited. But this is the only show in town but the prices are fair and the park is clean and well kept. I'd stay there again if we were in town. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Campground is fairly well maintained with sites close together. Utilities are properly placed; however, we had power issues, as did our neighbors, when the temperature hit 95. If I pay for 50 AMP I expect 50 AMP. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Very nice and well kept park. The managers were extremely nice and accommodating. This park is very quiet considering that you are close to a main road leading into downtown Chico. Lots to do in the area. Don't miss walking parts of Bidwell Park. There is a nice pool area and clubhouse area which we did not use, but looked very nice and clean. They only expect you to clean up after your pet so there is no terrible dog run to contend with. The sites are a little tight and we would have given this park a higher score if the sites had been a little bit bigger. We look forward to staying here again. Rate reflects GS discount. Friendly staff, nicely shaded level pull through sites with plenty of spacing. Beautifully landscaped park. Wi-Fi good at site. Quiet and centrally located for Chico. Stayed here for short stopover and would stay here again. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

If you have a tent trailer...beware. A nice, shaded park but not family friendly and the rules are very restrictive. "Any RV 10 years old or older must be approved by the Manager, prior to stay". Really?!? They have an undocumented "no tent trailer" rule which they highlighted at checkout. (we did not misbehave to cause this....). Pets are welcome. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Tent Trailer.Undo

This is a nice small park with good owners. Park was clean, spots were pretty level but somewhat tight, WI-FI was very good. There are lots of trees which are great; however, satellite TV may not work. I feel the sites could use some new gravel. Overall this park is a gem. The rate reflects a 10% Good Sam discount. It is very seldom that I give a park a rating of "10," but I could not really find anything wrong with this park. The location is good, very close to downtown Chico, with restaurants and other activities. It is fairly quiet for an urban campground. It is fairly dark, unfortunately they do have a number of "street lights." There is a pool, but when we were there it was much too cool to use. They have WiFi that is strong and fast. Our Verizon data and phone worked well. There are only a few sites that can get satellite. We were luck to get one. We did not use the cable, so cannot comment on that. The staff/management were all very helpful, nice, and accommodating. Water pressure, electrical were all strong. Sites are reasonably spaced. Unlike many parks, there did not seem to be a lot, if any, of long-term residents there. The laundry was clean and only a dollar. So, really could not find anything wrong and will stay here again if in the area. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
