This is a really nice little RV park. No long-term, blue tarps. Quiet. Good Shade trees. Grass. Picnic tables. Strong WiFi. Good cable TV. The only negatives are that the site is gravel and the laundry room is very small (2 washers and 1 working dryer). The road is paved. You have a nice grass strip next to your RV. But your RV is on gravel. The sites are quite long and plenty wide. Will stay here again. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here 2 nights while I had an additional fuel tank installed in my truck. The fellow at the front desk was extremely rude and grumpy, being sure to tell everyone not to lay a rug, pillow or anything down on the 18 inch section of grass. This place has no dog run. The sites are way too tight. We were in site #5 and would not return. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here several times while visiting family in the area. It's a nice, clean, shaded park conveniently located on the west end of town. The larger back-in sites seem to be allocated to long term campers and the two pull-through rows in the center are given to overnighters. However, these are extremely narrow and the utilities are placed in the middle so if you're out in your lawn chair you're pretty much sitting next to your neighbor's sewer hookup (my pet peeve). Knowing this, we asked for an end site when we made our reservation and were told one was available. But when we arrived, it was not. Then, we were assigned a site right next to another camper when at least 10 sites on the other side were vacant (??). We asked to be moved so at least we had one site between us and didn't feel quite so crowded. The park has a nice clubhouse and a pool that didn't seem to be in use for the season yet. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed just one night in this clean RV park in Chico. For an RV park, the sites were pretty large with gravel pads and a small section of grass and a picnic table. While not on a freeway, the Esplanade can be somewhat noisy since it is a major street. The one disappointment is the cost. $45 with a Good Sam discount is WAY more than the RV park should be in a smallish town, specially comparing it to really fabulous parks like Seven Feathers in Canyonville, OR. Because of the overly high price, we probably would look for something else in the area next time. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Spaces are gravel with pad for picnick table, moderately flat. All utilities in good working order and all facilities meticulously care for and spotless. Downside is spaces are narrow. To close to neighbors septic and not condusive to opening our awning. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

What a nice park. Very clean restrooms, gravel but level sites, some grass between sites and nice picnic table at each site. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have been staying here since 2000 and love this place. Always the same, clean, beautiful grounds and friendly staff. Only drawback is the price, we can only stay a couple of days at these prices, we'd gladly stay longer if less expensive. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The city bus service now comes this far out. Now you can get downtown without driving. Check out the farmer's market for fresh, locally grown food at supermarket prices. Also be sure to visit Bidwell Mansion and Bidwell Park.

Enjoyed our stay here. Very clean and well maintained RV Park with the owners on-site. Pride of ownership shows here! Most sites have shade with gravel pull through and back in. Streets are paved. Sites are a bit snug, but we've experienced much tighter. Appears that long term stays are not allowed since we did not see the classic pile up around the RV anywhere. Had super neighbors and quiet setting with easy on/off hwy 99. We were 6 miles from the beautiful Bidwell Park with miles of hiking and mountain biking trail. We competed in the Bidwell Rim2Rim 50k & half marathon trail run. Location was perfect for our need. Would definitely stay here again! Be sure to hit the Sierra Brewing Co. for lunch out on their patio. It was fabulous food in a great setting! We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A beautiful park, lots of grass at every site. Sites are gravel, but roads in the park are paved, and wide. Lots of trees for shade at most sites. The only negative is WiFi. Tengo internet is slow most of the time. It took half a dozen tries to get signed in. Then it knocks you off on a regular basis. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate per day based on monthly rate. Roads are paved (asphalt). Most spots are pull-through with concrete pads and have picnic tables. Lots of big trees. If you have satellite TV, make sure you have a unobstructed southerly exposure. Chico downtown is about 3 miles south @ has a nice old town feel. I would stay here again. Had a pull thru site at the end of a row with a very nice lawn area. Friendly people in the office. The first night the sprinklers left water spots on the tow vehicle. Talked with the people in the office, and they adjusted the sprinklers so that didn't happen again.

Would stay here again. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Motorhome.

We could not stay as they said our cabover camper was too old.  It would be useful if either on their website or when you call they stated their age rules as it would have saved us a long trip. There was easy access to the park, it looked very clean, sites were quite close together, very small pool, and no services within walking distance. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Rate is with Good Sam discount. Sites were level with gravel. Not much space between sites, but enough for hookups and a narrow strip of grass. Some sites were shady. Reception staff was below average friendly, but did their job well. Some sites near main street experience street noise, but not much of a problem. All hookups were clean, seemed modern, and worked well. There was in fact, an almond tree at the office. Shower and toilet entry by key, which office provided upon check-in and must be returned (drop box or in office) upon departure. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Motorhome.

Adequate park for the price. Check-in was swift enough, got some suggestions on walking distance restaurants. There a $5 deposit for a key to use restrooms and laundry, too many people driving off without returning them. Pretty close to neighbors, but we still fit with our opposing slide outs. My biggest problem is their daily watering, so much so that there is water running all over the roads in the park, leading to the park and the sidewalk outside the park. Have a hard time supporting an establishment that is so oblivious to the drought. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park. Helpful and friendly management. Easy to pull in and out of sites. Shower had the best water pressure of any shower I have been in - ever. I would stay here again. No freeway noise. We camped at Almond Tree RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
