Love this park! Have been here previously a couple of times but it's been quite a few years since our last visit. It's in a beautiful setting amongst pine and aspen trees next to the river. The owners have a lot of pride of ownership as the crew goes into each campsite and cleans the leaves, etc. as soon as someone leaves. They have expanded their Wifi throughout the park and it is free. They escort you to your campsite and when we had a problem unhitching our toad, our guide tried to assist us! We stayed in the F section due to the 50amp service and some of the sites are fairly close to each other. If you only need 30amp you have many sites with more space in between. The park is very quiet other than an occasional train that comes through the area. It didn't bother us. We camped at Clio's Rivers Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park convenient to the little town of Graeagle and the beautiful Gold Lakes Basin. Sites are spacious and ours had some nice trees for shade. This park is very clean; roads are all asphalt and most of the sites are covered in white gravel. There are several grades of sites from "premium" by the river to "standard" back-ins. We had the lower priced back-in and it was fine. Great park for walking the dog and a nice, fenced dog run at the end of the park with benches and shade. Several permanent modular homes that were beautiful summer residences. We enjoyed our stay here. We camped at Clio's Rivers Edge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a lovely, tree covered RV Park located in the middle of the Eastern Sierra area near the small town of Clio. Interior roads are paved and easy to navigate. Sites are exceptionally large and most have very large established pines or smaller foliage between sites. Utilities were well-placed and easy to use. Cable service was adequate and there was good coverage with Verizon. There is a large fenced dog park that is partially shaded and a short amount of access to the river. There is not extensive area to walk along the river and the rest that is outside of the property is fenced. There are very limited 50 amp sites so we had to use 30 amp service which is difficult when it is 100 degrees. There are no open fires allowed due to the extreme fire danger in the area. Office staff and the gentleman who accompanied us to our site were extremely friendly and helpful. There is one fenced garbage and recycling area for the entire park so depending on your location it can be a walk to the dumpster area. We camped at Clio's Rivers Edge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Entry into the park is fine, but be aware that you cross a one lane bridge over Sulfur Creek within a few hundred feet. Entire park is covered with pea gravel which gives a nice look and feel. The park is well manicured. Roads are nicely paved. Maneuvering is fine, but one picnic table was a little close. Clio trestle is one mile away, but did not notice any train noise during sleeping hours. We booked online with no problem, but we did not get the exact days we wanted. We paid extra for two dogs and extra vehicle for our one week stay. Dog bag dispensers are available. Cable TV is standard definition. Wi-Fi was good. We will be back. We camped at Clio's Rivers Edge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great place. Big and well maintained. No wood fires though. All paved drives with lots of gravel in space areas. Which makes this park nicer that some we have visited also with gravel. WiFi is weak but cell service pretty good so use your hotspot. We camped at Clio's Rivers Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.

This may be the cleanest RV park we have every stayed in. There is hardly a leaf out of place. The driveways are not overly wide but paved and well maintained. The sites are clean gravel, level and all the utilities work well.
We were disappointed that our online reservation has not been recorded. Fortunately we are here on a day when they were not full. The Wifi works very well. On our evening walk by the river we saw 3 deer and lots of birds. Our site is well shaded. We camped at Clio's Rivers Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects a "preferred" full hookup 30 amp site which was very large and 50' away from our closest neighbor. All sites looked very roomy with plenty of shade. Very nice staff and escort to our very level site. Free wifi worked very well with 1MB and could be upgraded to 6MB for $10 per day or $20 per week. Connection was supposed to be for 24 hours, but we found ourselves having to re-connect several times per day (no big deal). Fenced dirt dog run was great for the dogs ($2 each per dog per day) and kids park was nice and well kept. Fishing just off of our site was nice and convenient, but the tadpoles were larger than the fish we caught (others had better luck with some keepers). Park was always quiet with a nice breeze blowing through the very tall and plentiful trees. All streets were paved and all sites were gravel with a large concrete patio and sturdy metal and plastic picnic table. They also had "Easter eggs" hidden around the park that if found could be turned in at the office for a toy surprise. Free ice cream for the kids on Saturdays! We will be back! We camped at Clio's Rivers Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Plumas Eureka State Park was a nice way to spend a couple of hours (kids can pan for gold in their special trough all day for $4). Graeagle golf (miniature and driving range $5 each) was nice with a nice cold shake, sundae or frosty afterwards at Graeagle Frostee right next door. Mohawk tavern is a favorite stop for an adult beverage. Some of the best golfing in the West is within 20 miles of this park. You can easily spend a week here and play a different spectacular course every day!

Clio is our favorite spot. The service is top notch from when you check in and are led to your spot and assisted in backing in. It is a beautiful campground with lots of trees and a river close by. The grounds are well manicured and patrolled regularly. It is relaxing, professional and pleasant. We camped at Clio's Rivers Edge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean and well-maintained park. Greeters take you to your site and guide you in. If they can, they'll pull you through another site to get to yours. We stayed in the 50amp section, which had reasonably wide, tree lined sites which were covered with pea gravel. Workers came in and raked sites and cleaned tables as soon as people depart. There's not much in the way of amenities beyond a bocce ball court & horseshoes. But, that's also probably why it was so peaceful at night. Sites are away from the road, unlike two other parks we drove through in nearby Graeagle. Day hikes around regional lakes are just a short drive away. We camped at Clio's Rivers Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

You have to visit the local winery in Graeagle. Trevor, the host, is an entertainer!

We have an elderly dog who can swim, but can't hike anymore. If you go to Gold Lake and take the first entrance labeled Pack Animals, you'll find a small ramp (row boat sized) and grassy areas along the water to picnic.

This is a beautiful, pristine campground. Not for everyone. We are rule followers but this campground is over the top on rules. Staff gruff. We appreciate hook ups but prefer a natural feel to a campground. Gravel throughout the park. We were in a river site, not much shade. Small playground for children. Fire rings in sections A & B for a limited time during season. We would not stay again but many people love this campground. We camped at Clio's Rivers Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very clean, well maintained park. Hookups were very convenient to the side of our motorhome. Water pressure was a bit low, but adequate. The Wi-fi was worthless (extremely slow almost to the point of not functioning) - we used our Verizon iPhone hotspot. Both Cell and Data with Verizon were good. 24 cable channels but not HD (old pre-digital 480 format). Stayed here with a group of 30 folks. The clubhouse was too small for our group with chopped up rooms, but with a nicely
equipped kitchen. Only two toilets and two showers for men - tight quarters and sort of run down, but clean. We camped at Clio's Rivers Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Strict on quiet hours. Site are laid out like parking spaces. Not very kid friendly. This park, other than a few select sites, is wide open so shade is hard to find. The camp host was cordial but not overly friendly. Close to Greagle which is nice. We camped at Clio's Rivers Edge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

+ 8 We really like Rivers Edge, so this is our 4th time here. Sites are wide, some have patios, and the park is quiet, has lots of mature trees, and is well-maintained; wi-fi works great; laundry is up-to-date
- 2 Electricity is not good, we needed leveling blocks in front, and the bathrooms are clean but need remodeling
We will always stay at Rivers Edge. We camped at Clio's Rivers Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at this park 6 or 7 times in the last few years and it is always pleasant. They keep then entire park immaculate, the staff is friendly and there is plenty to do in the area. Two positives to mention that have made the stay even better since our visit in June, they have implemented park wide high speed internet that works excellent. Our one negative when traveling to the park is that when you hit the Nevada County line Highway 89 is like a washboard and rattles the RV like you drove into a vibration chamber. I have been calling Caltrans about this for almost 4 years and FINALLY in the last 4 weeks they have repaved 89 to a nice smooth finish. We camped at Clio's Rivers Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Saw this in a travel magazine and thought we'd try it, glad we did. We waited until after Labor Day and figured that the crowds will have left and we would almost have the place to ourselves. We arrived there on Sunday afternoon, check-in took about five minutes, the lady at the desk was very helpful and friendly. They escort you to your site with a little golf cart and make sure everything is OK. We had a back-in site; there was plenty of room to maneuver and get situated. The sites are nice and big so you're not on top of one another. We were the only ones in our section for the first couple of nights, then we ended up with two neighbors. This was never a problem. All the hookups worked great, the water pressure was a bit low at 38 psi. The Wi-Fi was not throughout the park; it was a hot spot by the laundry and office. The park was very clean with three maintenance guys out all day cleaning and fixing. The spots are mostly salt and pepper 1/4" gravel and are pretty level. There are NO open fires allowed, mostly due to the lack of rain in California everything is dry and ready to burn. This is a very nice park to enjoy the mountains, rivers , lakes, and wildlife. We camped at Clio's Rivers Edge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
