Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This was way overpriced but we didn't want to drive any further. There is not much competition in the area. They do not take reservations but said to come on in anyway. At that point we were committed on the drive. Park is about a half mile down a narrow street. We got brushed by a lot of trees. At the end there is a steep climb with several hairpin turns. We were okay in our 35-foot diesel pusher but not fun.

Manager was very helpful getting us in our site. He then informed us that there was no WiFi and pool closed after October 1. Also no cable. He said the owner turns everything off October 1 and heads for Mexico. Rate was $60 CASH with no discounts. We would have left then but didn't want to drive down that hill and try to find someplace else. Manager came out later and gave us his personal WiFi password. Satellite could not find signal for TV.

This could be a lovely little park in summer when amenities were better. However, still not worth the price. We camped at Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a pretty park in a gorgeous area! It's up on a hill with relatively little level space, which means tight maneuvering for big rigs (and I think there's only one or two spaces available for those...) and not always a lot of extra space for parking a toad (like when someone's having a little gathering at the pool and they take up all the spaces...). The site we were in (15) had enough trees around it that it was very hard to get any satellite signal with our roof-mount (after a long time, our sat. finally found one to lock onto), and there is no cable TV. There were three washers @ $1.75 and several dryers @ $1.50. The pool area looked very nice, and the grounds were nice and well-maintained EXCEPT for some dog piles I found - primarily next to a site where I know the guy lets his little dog walk around loose a lot. The dog wasn't really a problem, but the owner needs to look around more to pick up after his dog!!! I also found other piles elsewhere. Will never understand why people aren't more courteous and diligent about this. Gives us other good dog owners a bad name, and makes for all sorts of pet restrictions, and it's not fair to the good ones!! They only give rate discounts to veterans. We camped at Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Price reflects a weekly rate. This was our second year at Dutcher Creek. We came back because the park is relatively quiet and in a rural setting. It is perhaps 1/2 mile from the Hwy 101 freeway. Distant enough to minimize freeway noise but still convenient for freeway access. It's a short drive Healdsburg and numerous wineries. Access is through a residential area and then up a steep, but paved entry road. A little intimidating at first but quite doable. There are only about 5 sites for short-term stays. These are near the office and by the pool. The rest of the spaces are scattered over the property and occupied by park models and 5th wheels for long term residents. It's a little strange at first, but it seems to work. The restrooms are dated, but reasonably well maintained. Hot water can be an issue if more that one shower is running or someone is doing laundry next door. One note of caution -- in April there are some mosquitos in the evening from the creek down the hill. We camped at Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a combo park, mostly 5th wheel longer termers, but very well kept. Newer sites by the smallish pool paved level with nice views of the valley from 500 feet up for shorter stays. Switchback paved road getting up there, but don't fret. If I were a monster rig with tow car, I'd call the first to see if room for you. We made it easily in 32-footer. Very quiet and laid back CA wine country style. Would stay again. We camped at Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Park is mainly for permanents and they are located in two different areas of the park. Up front there are a handful of spaces available for travelers. There is one pull thru (space 17). Half the sites are concrete, the rest gravel. Spaces have great views of the mountains and valley and there are lots of trees. Interior roads are paved. Road into park is steep with a couple of sharp turns but was not a problem if you take it slow. Trees were not a factor, nor were they in the park. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi is free and worked great during our stay. Highly recommend getting space 17, pull through, for the great view and the ability to use satellite TV. Very close to a great wine tasting region. This is a nice little park that I would recommend. We camped at Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Looks like you're lost, but follow the directions. It's up a steep hill with a big curve but no problem with 35' & toad. Nice fellow running it. Fairly level, gravel sights. Just overnighted but a great view from where they sit. We camped at Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Dutcher Creek over July 4th, a spontaneous booking 2 days before. We have a 40ft coach so they gave us the pull through opposite the pool looking out at the valley. Despite many permanent residents the park is very clean, quiet, and well kept. We really didn't see anyone except the camp host ( a very nice man) and some other overnighters. Wi-fi worked well. Pool was clean. Site was gravel and our dogs got a bit dirty - we will now buy a camping mat. We biked to Lake Sonoma, 6.1 miles to the hatchery and wine tasted on the way back. A great location in wine country for a couple of nights. We camped at Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Very quiet park, kind of scary driving in. If your not familiar with the park, your not certain your going the right direction. Keep going, you will be fine. Internet Wi-Fi was the best I've ever seen in a park. Was able to stream video from the internet. Verizon cell phone worked great as well. Shower and bathrooms were clean, a few bugs but that does not bother me. I would return here. We camped at Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this park for 2 nights. Park management was very friendly and helpful. Our site was sufficient for a 29' RV and Jeep. There are nice shade trees and a view over the hills. The park has easy access to vineyards and Lake Sonoma. The restrooms and the rest of the grounds were very clean. We would stay here again. We camped at Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Very scenic location. The park is very rustic and quiet. The park has a new electrical power service but has no cable. The Wi-Fi worked very well. There is only one pull through site. The owner is a very nice guy. If you're looking for a scenic country RV park then this is for you. We camped at Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.
