1 Park near Dutch Flat, California
Oct 2015 - $20.00
Interesting place, sites carved out of a coniferous forest. 30-amp electric, just stayed overnight. Just off I-80, but surprisingly quiet. Sites were fairly level, although there was a bit of a drop-off to get to some of them. They said there's an age restriction for older vehicles so had to "inspect" our 1988 rig. But honestly, some of the (supposedly) permanent residents are in really broken-down looking rigs. They need cash or cheque, no plastic.
2 combination bathroom/showers. Surprisingly clean and spacious, good hot water pressure. The camp host will tell you all about the town of Dutch Flat given the slightest opportunity, but we didn't have time to see it. Good place for overnight. - RV-Roamer
Sep 2015 - $20.00
No full time camp office, only camp host on site.
Low voltage AC electricity.
Lots of trees make satellite and TV reception difficult.
Lots of permanent residents. Some not kept very well. - RalKat
Oct 2014 - $15.00
The price with Passport America discount makes it difficult to fault this park. The sites aren't very level...bring blocking if your rig does not have levelers. There is no cable TV and the huge trees wreak havoc on satellite reception. Bring DVDs. Was very quiet at night but not too dark because of park lighting. I felt it was excessive as there isn't much to do outside at this park at night. Another place that's OK for camping but with owner effort would be spectacular given the beautiful wooded setting. - User3674
