We stayed Friday through Tuesday over Presidents day weekend. It was quiet when we arrived early afternoon, but filled up rapidly. It was a bit noisy with kids running around and lots of groups in their campsites and around campfires. By Sunday afternoon though it quieted down a lot and by Monday evening it was dead quiet. This will never be a destination stop for us, but if we need a stop while traveling through, we would definitely stay here again, especially mid week. - jas18

This is a quiet place for a night or two in the off-season. There are no-hookup and also full-hookup sites arranged in a semicircle around a reservoir filled with ducks. The sites are gravel curved pull-throughs, though a bit short, but I had no problems getting my 32' motorhome in. As others have said, there is hardly anyone here during the late fall and winter, and the price is a really good deal for this area. The only problem I had was very weak Verizon data service. The ladies at the check-in booth were very helpful and suggested sites, though I could have gone back and selected another if not satisfied with the one I picked. Got satellite signal, which was good, but wish there had been better Verizon service. - judy_online

Wonderful find, close enough to I-5 to be convenient for over night stop, but enough to be very quiet (3-4 miles). Off season and only about 6 other campers. Rate includes $2 senior discount - great price for full hookups. County park so no WiFi or cable. Fun to watch the raccoons but be careful about food outside. Because of the rain, the grass was green. Sites are the semicircle style pull through which was fine for our 35' motor home and toad (didn't unhook), but would take careful selection for a 40' unit. Understand summer weekends are a madhouse and very noisy, with lots of jet skiis and 20 - 30 to a campsite not uncommon. Would definitely come here again in off season or maybe midweek in summer. - BandD
Oct 2016 - $35.00
This place is NOT good. They tout it as big rig friendly but it is absolutely NOT!! There are stupid little brick walls at all critical turns, vehicles parked on or near the turns that restrict any reasonable maneuvering and, to add insult to injury, they allowed some long termer to build a storage shed right on the turn. Couple this with way too many people, way too many dogs off leash, and basically nothing but old RVs. DO NOT STAY HERE!! - Indio_snowbird

Jun 2009 - $15.00
We have stayed there off and on in 2008 and 2009 for two months at a time. Most of the people are friendly you will have your bad ones of course. The manager is very nice but there have been complaints on her. We really enjoyed staying there very kid friendly, pool and play ground. Laundry facilities are reasonable and good condition. Bathrooms are clean close to every shopping area you would need and entertainment is within driving distance. Beaches, mountains all within 2 hours driving. - d1of10
