We stumbled onto this place after spending the day at Noyo Beach off leash dog beach very nearby. The park is just off Main Street / Highway 1, and gets some road noise in the AM. It doesn't look like much more than gravel lot from the road, but you have unobstructed views of the ocean, and a very nice and scenic paved path (County Park) across the headlands right in front of you. We hit the weather just perfect, but thought the place was great for a VERY scenic and enjoyable overnighter. We pulled in nose first (with permission) and were able to connect power but not TV. Good strong Verizon signal since you're right in Fort Bragg. We'll be back as it fits most of our criteria for a nice ocean overnighter. We camped at Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

Incredible find in a most beautiful spot. It is in Fort Bragg so it is in an urban setting with all the amenities you could ask for, but you wouldn't know it. The park is located just south of the Noyo River Bridge on a gorgeous stretch of Bluffs over looking the mouth of the Noyo and a stunning stretch of Pacific Coast line. This is the Pomo Bluffs public recreation area. Paved trails through the grass lands to park benches placed in strategic places along the bluffs and cliff. All dog friendly. Rv spaces are 20 feet from the access to this area. Warning! This place has zero curb appeal. Funky is to kind a word for the mis-mash of old broken down mobile homes that is presented from the highway and frontage road. The neighborhood appeared semi industrial. My wife asked me if I was crazy that I wanted to stay there. Well despite initial appearance this has been one of my most favorite stays anywhere. It was quiet, except for the moan of the fog horn nightly and the distant sound of motors of fishing craft leaving or returning from their harbor up the Noyo. The utilities are good. Wifi is great as is cell. But the best is the privilege of being able to walk out your door to park lands. We camped at Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

no frills, but the wi-fi was ok. pulled in so we could see the sunset. backed it in after it set. plenty of space to maneuver our 36' rig. very quiet. only got to stay 1 nite due to breakdown in oakland. lots of trails and overlooks. you are just a few yards away from some beautiful cliffs, harbors, etc. almost the entire park is covered with grass so there is virtually no dust. good location to everything. a business road with a traffic signal to facilitate getting back on hwy 1. the overall look of the place is good. everything is mowed and kept up. the sewer hookup was behind the site, on the side. don't know if i could have reached it but didn't need to. absolutely loved the town. went to see Glass Beach but there is hardly any glass left. too bad. We camped at Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The site is mud and grass on gravel (it has been raining a lot lately. They do have 2 50 amp sites in the full hook ups section. The site took 4.5" of lift under my front end plus the full lift of the air bags to level up. The road are grass/mud on gravel. The view from the back row looking out at the ocean was fantastic. The bathrooms were spotless and the showers stalls are kind of small but they have good pressure and plenty of hot water. The previous post mentioned that they were fixing up the place but I saw no indications that were doing anything except maintaining the park. We'd stay here again. We camped at Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is an older park. Very friendly office staff. I was told they had just taken the park back, and it appears the previous owner had no interest in improving the park. Power went off for a few minutes every morning. Owners are planning to upgrade power. This is in a GREAT location, overlooking the ocean and the river mouth. Some of the site have full hookups and some only power and water. NO dump station! They plan to put one in soon. Wifi hooked easily, but was very slow. Good cell service, right in town. I think the new owners are really going to try and fix this park up. We camped at Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is oceanfront with nice path leading to the ocean. Spaces are wide and park is clean. But no laundry?? (no clubhouse, no picnic table) Good location to get to Skunk Railroad and Mendocino. We camped at Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

No frills. A decent place to park while exploring the area. One nice thing about it is the close location to kayaking opportunities on the river, which is why we stayed here. We camped at Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is next to Highway 1 near the bridge on the Ocean side and is not too bad. It has a park right behind it. It is adjacent to a trailer park which some people may not like but I thought the location was nice. We were in the row by the park so our back window looked out over the park and then over the ocean. When we arrived there was no one in the office; we had to wait 5-10 minutes for someone to show up. All hookups worked. They do have Wi-Fi and it worked. We would stay there again. We camped at Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here after a long drive down the coast, and we were simply looking for "any port in a storm," as we were tired of driving and the kids were done. If you don't know it's here, you'll drive right past the place, as it doesn't exist in the Good Sam book we have. Basically, this place is a field with hookups. Ours was W/E only, and there is no dump site. Wi-Fi worked well. It's mostly level, and if you're in the front row, you'd have a view of the ocean, otherwise you're looking at other rigs. While kids are welcome, there's nothing for them to do that I saw. There is a nice paved pathway that leads out to a place to view the rugged ocean shore and scary looking harbor entrance (as well as a Geocache). At the price, I didn't expect a whole lot. I'd stay again if the price remains low. We camped at Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

When you pull in your first thought is, oh no, a lot of old trailers are here permanently. The actual RV Park is just an open field with hook ups. No maintenance is done, like mowing. The office is rarely open, the manager writes notes on the door when he will be back. There is not a view of the ocean. It is close and there is a nice walk to it but it has nothing to do with the park. Cable was good, internet was not bad. Will not stay here again. We camped at Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

We absolutely loved this park. We were in the bottom row which gave us an unobstructed ocean view. The sites are on grass. There is a wonderful walking path right from the campground that goes along the ocean bluffs. It is spectacular. The owner was very nice (and flexible with us as we were awaiting the birth of a grandchild!). It is an easy walk to restaurants & shopping. This park doesn't advertise and the only way I found it was doing a web search & remembering where I had seen it the last time I was in Fort Bragg. The Wi-Fi was quite good. We felt this place for the view & amenities was a real bargain and hope to be back again soon. We camped at Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Many of the sites that are front row to the Ocean are very un-level; however, if you are prepared with several leveling devices, this park has some of the nicest views for the best price around. If it weren't for the location it would probably rate a four star. Don't misunderstand me, the electric and water work fine, and there is cable TV. It's just nothing exceptional. While it is not exactly waterfront to the ocean only the tall grass of a treeless park separates you from cliffs that drop down to the crashing waves below. A wonderful paved walkway follows Noyo bay for a couple hundred yards with benches perfect for whale watching. Or maybe you just want to watch the boats go in and out while the fog horn bleats and buoys clang. It's a steal at $25. We'll be back. We camped at Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park wasn't much to look at and a bit confusing to find, but then you look up and see the view and it is well worth a stay. The facilities were old but clean and sites were nice and big. We will definitely stay again. We camped at Harbor RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This park is all about the location and good price. The ocean views are fantastic and the park with its cliff side walking trails is right out your door. Doggie bag stations and trash bins are available in the park and a leash free dog beach is about 5 minutes away by car (you can see it from the park but you have to drive down through the harbor to get there). Wi-Fi worked great for us. If you are primarily looking for scenic views this works. If you like a well-groomed park with amenities, you may want to look elsewhere. We arrived for one night and stayed for five nights. We camped at Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.
