The only downer seems to be they are overpriced. $388 for the week is steep, considering you have to drive a lot to see stuff. Greenfield is in the middle of nowhere. The park is very well kept with all the amenities mentioned by the other raters. And the wind is as advertised. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice park, except for the wind, but they have no control over the wind. Their dog park large with thing for the dog to do grass, with a dog wash station. Pool is heated nice hot tub. They have a fire place just out side the pool area nice place to sit at night. The RV pads are large long with a patio and barbecue. The park has lots of grass plants and trees. No dust.

There are wineries around the park to visit, Carmel and Monteray are just 30 mins away. Great place for a stay. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

I agree with the other reviewers that you could not ask for a nicer campground. Everything was up to date and continually cared for by the wonderful staff. However, since we camped here for a week the wind was unexpected and totally disruptive to our plans to sit outside, watch TV and enjoy a drink. The winds started around 1pm every day and didn't let up until late evening, one night it was after 1am! We never put out our awning and I was worried that our slide covers would tear due to the winds. The wind was quite cold so make sure you bring appropriate clothes. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

I understand that some months they do not have winds. I would call to see when they don't normally have wind. I believe it was mentioned that Oct was good.

Wow, where to start. Maybe with, after six years of virtually full-time RVing, this RV park now ranks in at least our top five!!! The only issue I could see is the wind (expect sustained of probably 30-40mph from about 2pm to 8pm), and that is just the way it is in that area. As long as you know in advance, prepare, and aren't planning on hanging outside your RV mid-day, it's not that bad. But the place is super easy to get to, off the 101 highway. It is VERY nicely set-up and maintained. It has one of the best dog parks we've ever seen - our dogs took full advantage of it (although our doggies didn't require the great DIY dog wash station). And the people who run the place are some of the nicest, most helpful and accommodating people we've ever run into at a campground!! They make you feel like you're at home the moment you land. There's actually a nice view of pretty hills and mountains from the campground. A little highway noise but not too bad. Laundry has three washers and three dryers that all worked great and you can't beat the price of $1 per each!! Trash and recycling neatly and handily located for each aisle. The rate for one of the few back-in sites (most are pull-thrus) was $44 but $40 with Good Sam. We had an end site (which offer nice almost mini-parks) and got that great view too! We also filled up on propane while there - yet another service they offer. We stopped there because it was convenient and sounded good and so we could visit Pinnacles National Park (great place with some fun trails - just research beforehand which entrance you need for which trail!!). Hope they're able to get their air museum up and running soon! But we highly recommend this park and will certainly stay there again if ever in the area again! We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Pinnacles NP has really neat rock formations and is worth a visit, but it is mostly a hiking destination - not a drive-through park.
Also, the nearby Burger King is great! :)

This park is beautiful and pristine clean! The landscaping puts many for-fee gardens to shame. The friendly and welcoming staff is constantly working to maintain the facility in mint-clean condition. The sites are large and made private with evergreen tree plantings. There is a pool and spa, exercise room, laundry, dog park with a dog wash, a rec building and dumpsters with recycling containers. This is an excellent facility and we could not find anything to criticize! We HIGHLY recommend it. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

This Park is in the heart of Monterey County "wine country". There are many wineries to visit. It is also close to Monterey Bay/Pebble Beach Golf Resort and Pinnacles National Park. It is in the Salinas Valley vegetable growing region and there are beautiful fields upon fields of plants growing.

It does get windy in the mid-late afternoon - so do not leave awnings when the site is un-attended.

Brand new extremely clean park with immaculate laundry, fitness, pool and clubhouse. Centrally located for Pinnacles National Park and Monterey. Fantastic dog park and dog wash. Staff very helpful with parking and suggestions for activities. Wind does howl in this part of the California. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed in Deluxe pull-through. Relatively new park with concrete pads. Excellent no-password WiFi and cable TV. Pedestal in great shape and generally easy to use. I prefer that circuit breakers are more easily read without having to bend over to read the amperage while head is inverted. Lady on front desk and man that escorted us to site were both very courteous and helpful. Made the reservation online at night and automated response was informative and quick. This park is three years old and is just beautiful. The owner is very friendly and maintains the park in pristine condition. The facilities are all perfect. There is a pool, hot tub, exercise room, and fire pit. The showers are wonderful. The park is surrounded by farm land, is secure and quiet. It is only an hour's drive to the Monterey area. 30 minutes to Wal Mart in Salinas. We will definitely stay here again as there is nothing comparable in Central California. Staff is friendly and helpful. We had a pull through. The pool and exercise room are great. Easy in and out. Plenty of room for big rig maneuvering. The buildings and the landscaping are well designed. The dog run with bathing facility is great. It is the modern RV park we are always hoping for. We will return. Very nice, 3-year old park with level concrete pull-through sites, nicely landscaped and good, well-placed hookups. Park is near to Hwy 101, but traffic noise was minimal. Since a new park, no large trees for shade or to block satellite. Laundry facilities clean and $1 wash $1 dry. Didn't try the pool or spa. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and busy tidying up the park. We were here for 2 nights. Warm days, sunny skies. Apparently the wind can be high, but we didn't experience that. I would definitely return. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We spent a week here while exploring the area. Parks on the coast tend to be tight for larger rigs, so we were delighted to find this newer park that seemed to have everything. Pads were long and there are two sewer connections at each site. The landscaping is pristine and the common areas are spotless. Folks who work there are very friendly and attentive. Can see how it would be ideal for groups of RVer's who want to meet. There is even an outdoor fireplace area. The park is gated for security. The two "downsides" were not downsides for us. It is windy( they have no control over that ) and you must be willing to drive see much. This did not bother us so we were perfectly happy there and will definitely return again. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Take a drive through Arroyo Seco and Carmel Valley to Carmel, Monterey and other points on the Coast. It is quite bucolic and peaceful.

Many wineries within driving distance.

Pinnacles National Park is just a few miles away with great hiking opportunities. If you are lucky, you will see California Condors that have been released into the wild there.

We decided at the last minute to find a place close to Monterey/Carmel and tripped upon this beautiful gem. This is the nicest park that we have stayed in. To start with, there are lots of pull thru sites - 70 and 100 feet - truly lovely. All concrete pads with plenty of room for the toad. Sites are level, wide and have beautiful landscaping between each. The park is gated so we felt very secure. The staff was extremely friendly and particularly helpful with tons of information concerning the area. We didn't use the clubhouse or washrooms, but they looked like they had everything you could want in a smaller park. Could easily have stayed for a week but we had to move on. Lovely, lovely park - hope we get the opportunity to stay there again! We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Great place on Highway 101 in the middle of no place. Soon to be an air museum on site with run way. Secure area - gated. Brand new place with great landscaping and all concrete pads. Did not use the Wi-fi. Cable is analog not digital, but better than watching spanish speaking stations on air channels. Men's restroom and showers were grandiose but only two showers and one toilet. All sites are full hookup. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Remarkable park near wineries and Pinnacles National Park. Yes, it is windy...very windy in afternoons. But so what! That is when you go to see all the surrounding wineries and parks. Awesome dog park (enough lawn you can actually have you dog chase a ball) and dog wash area. Great workout room. Heated pool! Spa! Gated and secure. Very clean and well manicured. Would stay here again and again. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here of our group outing, ten motorhomes and trailers. Everyone was very who worked here was very helpful and friendly. The place was very clean, the dog run had grass, no

stickers at all. Large for big dogs, and always clean. There is a dog wash, but we didn't us it.

The club house was very nice, clean. Everything looked new, well kept up. They set everything up for us and took everything down. Tables even had table cloths on them. All they asked was we put our garbage in the receptacle.

Outside was a fire place with sitting chairs around it. The pool was warm and clean. Hot tub was hot. Workout room had everything one would need.

There were tables set up on lawn and horseshoes. Only thing that would have been better if they had bocce ball courts, but you can't have every thing.

They told us that it gets very windy at 4 PM to 7 PM but we never had any wind.

Lots to do around the park, wineries , state parks, two missions. The restaurants downtown were good and not far, a 5 minute drive.

I highly recommend this park.

Oh yes, all spots are pull-throughs, very large, cement, and a level area around the spaces, so was very nicely groomed.

This is not just a stop over RV park; it's a place you could stay for some time and have a great time. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Motorhome.
