We stayed here with my Winnie club, 18 rigs and our second time here. This is by far the best maintained, most immaculate park I've ever seen. Everything is kept up perfectly, the hosts are super hospitable and treated us really well. Very quiet park and a nice sized dog area with a beautiful lawn. Where have you seen a dog wash setup in an RV park? The only down side of this park is its location, with no restaurants nearby unless you go a few miles north to Soledad, not very far. Be careful of the high winds that can come in the afternoons, watch your awnings. Almost all sites are 70' long pull thrus with grass areas and nice spacing between rigs. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful park. After driving 8 hours, this was definitely a welcome place. You are escorted to your site. Streets are a bit narrow as another reviewer noted. I wasn't able to swing out enough to position the RV further to the left (towing ... couldn't back up) so therefore we are stepping into the landscaping, but for one night we can handle it. Long level concrete pull-thru's (70' deluxe & 100' premium) with picnic table, lush landscaping, pool, spa, showers, a dog park and dog wash, and workout facility. This park is far enough of the highway that road noise isn't an issue. Free Tengo wifi and cable television with lots of channels. I highly recommend Yanks if you're in the area. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Pretty much throwing another great rating on to the pile. This is easy access from 101. We stopping in just for an overnight stay but wished we could have arrived sooner to enjoy the amenities. The staff surprised me with a personal phone call when they were closing (at 4pm?!?) and realized I wouldn't get there before closing. They explained the off-hours procedures for getting in the secured gate. Perhaps the only thing to mention is the down sides which kept this from being a 10 rating: the driveways are narrower than they should be for a big-rig, high-end park. I have a 1/2 ton short bed truck and a 30' bumper pull trailer and I had to swing wide to get in and out without using the grass. Good thing the park was barely full and no one was over-hanging on nearby sites. There's also a pretty good rise and drop from the street to the site. For low-profile trailers like mine, it's one to watch in the mirrors and go overly slow. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The exit and re-entrance to US-101 southbound is confusing the first time through it. Northbound is quite easy and the exit actually dumps you right in front of Yank's entrance. There is a gas station on the other side of 101 from Yanks. I didn't use it, but from the looks of things would advise fueling while disconnected if possible.

This is a very nice RV Park. There are two pull-through type sites. Ours was a 100' long. The others a little less expensive were about 65' long. Probably not long enough to keep towed vehicle attached and easily reach all the hook ups. Very level sites with concrete and grass. Definitely a great stop over park. Will stay there again. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is one of the most beautiful RV parks we've been to. It is new, very well maintained, large sites and most are pull throughs. Easy access off of Hwy 101. A very nice, private shower facility is being built. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A very clean park with very helpful staff. The only negative is that the roads are very narrow, especially for a new park (only 5 years old). Makes getting into and out of sites while towing a 40 foot 5th wheel a bit of a challenge. Especially if people ignore the rules and leave a TOAD or a towing vehicle parked incorrectly. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is brand new and impeccably kept. Dog park is excellent. Unfortunately, many negatives 1. The wind was INTOLERABLE. Not just gusty, but constant, driving wind. RV across from us had the awning over his slide blown off. Park site map has a high wind advisory for good reason. 2. Not as close to River Road wineries and other area attractions as advertised. 3. They advertise free tasting coupons for area wineries, but will only give you ONE. We will not be back, preferring to stay in Paso Robles. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Very nice park that is only a few years old, conveniently located off Highway 101. Beautifully landscaped with great amenities, this park really has a resort feel. There are 80 FHU sites, consisting of 12 premium pull through, 62 deluxe pull through and 6 standard back-ins. We stayed in site B24, a deluxe pull through with 30+ cable channels included in the price. All sites are concrete, with patio, picnic table and stand up grill. Interior roads are paved and easy to navigate. Utilities worked well and were thoughtfully placed (there are two sewer hookups depending on how your rig is set up). Good Verizon signal. The park has a small pool, hot tub, clubhouse, horseshoe pit, and dog park with dog wash station. Laundry area was nicely appointed and included a change machine and vending machine for soap/fabric softener. The fitness area was small, but the machines were top notch and appeared to be brand new. Bathrooms were clean and the showers had doors, which was a nice touch but they could really use better lighting. The women's bathroom had 3 toilets and two showers, and the men's had 1 toilet, 1 urinal and two showers. They are currently building another bathroom, shower and laundry area which should be completed in the next few weeks. The pool area was very nice although small for a park this size. There are seating areas all around the pool, including some under pretty pergolas and another by an outdoor fireplace. The landscaping is just wonderful, with lots of flowers everywhere. Very nice office area with RV supplies, gifts and snacks. The winds can be quite gusty here and we never put out our awning. Very friendly staff here, and they clean sites as soon as someone leaves. We enjoyed this park and would return in a heartbeat! We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There are small grocery stores in Greenfield, but we drove 12 miles to King City and bought groceries at Safeway. We filled up our tow dually with diesel in Greenfield which was much cheaper than anywhere else (but they are not rig friendly).

We stayed for 1 week. Beautiful park, great staff, good location right off the freeway. Some noise from freeway but not too much. Great place for the dogs. Dog park on site was immaculate. We had a back in site that was long enough and sufficiently wide. Would definitely recommend and will return when in the area. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Absolutely beautiful park, five years old. Well done. Sites are immaculate, nicely spaced, concrete patio, grass and wood chips. Grill looked unused. Pet friendly, small but excellent dog park with credit card dog wash. The negative - just one, really, the wind. The park is in an open field and the wind can be a factor in your experience. It's also pretty nowhere. Otherwise, great park. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

You must go to Pinnacles National Park and take the 2.6 mile hike, including the cave section. Bring a high powered flashlight, not phone flashlights. The cave is pitch black requiring scrambling and crawling over wet rocks. Wear good hiking shoes. My artificial hip and fused back made it. You can. Also, if it's your thing, drive past the skunk-smelling grow operation about a half mile to the southwest. Then drive to Carmel through the mountains.

Yanks is in a curious location, kind of in the middle of nowhere. It's right off highway 101, between King City and Soledad. There is not a whole lot in the area, and much of the agriculture appears to have switched to growing grapes. It's only about ½ mile off of 101, but surprisingly the road noise isn't bad, and was never an issue at night. The surrounding area is all farm land, so not much extra traffic in the area. There is a building project across the street from the park, and word is that it is going to be an Air Museum that will be owned by the park. A large plot of ground has been leveled, and there were stacks of sewer pipes waiting to be installed. However, talking to a park employee, the plot has been in that condition for quite a while, as progress is slow. The park itself is really nicely done. All of the sites are concrete and in varying lengths up to 100' long. There is free wifi and cable, and the landscaping is beautiful. Each site has a cement patio in addition to the parking pad. The patio is 30' long, and in the middle of most sites. However, there are dual sewer connections so you can position the RV in place to be able to best utilize the patio. The landscaping between the sites are a variety of plants and wood chip planters. At the ends of each row are large grass areas that were meticulously cared for. If there was a down side to the sites, I would say that the roads are a bit narrow, so carefully swing wide when entering or leaving a site to avoid crushing the plants. The park has a pool and spa, a nice workout room, and one of the nicest dog parks I have seen, We paid $60 a day (including tax) for a 70' deluxe pull through site. Notably, the taxes were almost $10 a day! Our T-Mobile air card worked well here, about the same as Verizon. The restrooms are handicapped accessible and are beautiful as well. This park definitely rates a "10" in my book. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Motorhome.
